The Her Portion podcast is an incredibly refreshing and uplifting show that provides faithful encouragement for Christian women. The hosts of this podcast are dedicated to sharing the truth of God's Word, using the King James Bible as their guide. Their teachings have blessed numerous listeners, including myself, and I am grateful for their commitment to delivering direct and biblical messages.
One of the best aspects of The Her Portion podcast is its concise and focused approach. The hosts dive straight into the content without unnecessary personal anecdotes or unrelated discussions. This allows listeners to receive straightforward and impactful biblical encouragement, making it perfect for starting or finishing your day. Additionally, the podcast covers a wide range of topics relevant to Christian women, providing valuable insights and perspectives.
In terms of negatives, there are very few drawbacks to The Her Portion podcast. Some may find that the episodes are relatively short in length, leaving them wanting more content. However, this can also be seen as a positive aspect as it ensures that each episode contains valuable and concise teachings. Furthermore, since the podcast is relatively new at the time of writing this review, there may not be an extensive archive of episodes available yet.
Overall, The Her Portion podcast is a blessing in the lives of its listeners. Its focus on biblical teachings from a faithful perspective sets it apart from many other podcasts in today's politically correct world. The hosts' refreshing and kind spirits shine through in each episode, providing valuable insights for growth in one's faith journey. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone seeking encouragement or looking to deepen their understanding of God's Word.
In conclusion, I am thoroughly enjoying The Her Portion podcast and look forward to each new episode. The dedication these ladies have shown in creating this platform for encouraging Christian women is truly inspiring. Their teachings have impacted me personally and I am grateful for their faithfulness to God's Word. May they continue to bless many more with their insightful messages!
Join Crystal as she finishes up our study in Ephesians with a closer look at the Armour of God. Anyone who is trying to live a Spirit-filled--that is, a Spirit-controlled--life, is in the midst of a very real spiritual battle. This battle isn't just with our own flesh, but it is also with Satan and his demons. I Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”We have to understand that Satan desires to destroy us. His ultimate goal is to rob God of the glory He deserves. Satan knows that if he is successful in destroying the lives of Christians, he will keep God from getting glory. The destruction left behind by a Christian who Satan has defeated, even temporarily, can have lasting consequences that affect the lives of their families, friends, and churches. So we must "armour up!" Some of y'all quit church over a Judas. Some of y'all quit over a Martha. When did the disciples quit? They didn't!If anyone had a reason to give up on church it was them.We have to learn to keep our eyes on Who is important and let the other people blur in the sides of our vision.

Our purpose in studying church hurt should be to protect ourselves from being either the “offender” or the “offendee."First, we must understand the importance of being involved in a local, Bible believing church. It truly is God's design for New Testament believers which we can find all throughout Scripture. God's design for a church is unity in doctrine, service, and purpose. At the same time, God has created each of us to be different with unique personalities, talents, and tastes. It is only through the love of God that so many different people can come together in a church unified for the purpose of sharing the Gospel and edifying one another. However, any time people are brought together there is potential for problems…Yes, the church should be different. We should be different.Different...not perfect. So how can we be careful not to hurt or offend others? How can we be sure that when we are the ones hurt, or offended, that we respond according to the Bible?Listen as Crystal shares some thoughts on this difficult topic. Spiritual growth is never comfortable, but it's always compassionate. This is a topic that churches can tend to shy away from, but if we are being sensitive to the Holy Spirit we will use understanding through God's wisdom to restore ones who have been hurt in church. Sheeeesh… is there even a more controversial conversation of the church today?! So so so much hurt wrapped up in that one word, “standards.”I'd guarantee more people have left the church over the topic of standards than doctrine or any other conversation. How many people have not heard the Gospel because we have elevated our standards above the message of the cross? I'm guilty. How many people have been made to think that the key to being close to God is through all the high standards we hold dear? (Galatians 2:16, 21)God has completely crumbled all the things I built to find HIM and only Him, and for that I'm thankful. ❤️The book of Galatians in its' entirety is addressing the conversation of standards. We would be wise as the church, to read what Scripture says in context about this topic so that we can with one mind and one voice lift up the message of the cross. Health, according to Medical News Today, is a state of physical, mental and social well-being, not just the absence of disease or infirmity. Good health helps people live a full life.As Christians, we could add spiritual well-being to that definition and we recognize that Jesus came so that we could have eternal life and desires that we have abundant life (John 10:10).God cares about our health and wellness down to the smallest detail. He created us and made us in His own image. Our bodies are truly miraculous–the way they function and their ability to heal. God created us and calls us wonderful! He wants us to care for our bodies–His temple–the best we can. If we know there are some areas that need improvement, we can take them to the LORD in prayer and seek His guidance in the changes He would have us make.
