We talk to Jim N R Dale about his new book Weather Or Not (https://lidpublishing.com/book/weather-or-not/) ?: The personal and commercial impacts of weather and climate. The weather we experience crucially dictates almost every aspect of our lives. It directs what we do and when we do it, from what we eat and drink, to the clothes we wear, and it even governs our health and behaviour. In this entertaining and informative book, global expert meteorologist (http://www.britishweatherservices.uk/info-page/personnel.aspx) and weather authority, Jim N R Dale (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jimnrdale/) , shares his experiences and advises how you and your business could truly become weather savvy.
If you run a private business, especially if you rely on specific weather information to either make or lose money, there is a weather service based out of Kansas City that can help you stay ahead of the competition. I talk to Sara Croke from the private weather company "Weather Or Not" based here in KC about her business and her career. Some of you may remember that she was on TV back in the day.
This week we are joined by the versatile and productive MC/Producer Evidence. Fresh off tour with Brother Ali (he produced Ali’s most recent album Secrets & Escapes) he talks through his career up to this point. Ev arrived on the scene as a member of Dilated Peoples, and has released a string of solo albums and collaborations since then. His 2018 release Weather Or Not was among his most acclaimed. Stay tuned until the end of the interview when he drops some hints about the direction of his next project. In the first segment Demone, Dave and Nate discuss high fashion. Our theme song “Pyramids” is produced by friend of the program DJ Albert Jenkins.
I sit at our new LA location, The PentagonLA, waiting for Evidence. For this interview. I’m nervous. I start to think about all the years I’ve heard him deliver consistent, high quality work. I’m nervous. Dilated Peoples. The Weather Man Series. Countless features. God tier production. I’m nervous. It’s sunny outside. He walks in. Evidence is wearing a fur collared jacket and a florescent orange beanie. I’m not nervous anymore. Firm handshake. We get started. Evidence is a pro. From the beginning he was in control of the interview. You can almost see the talent radiating from Evidence so it gives me high hopes that “Weather Or Not” will be no less amazing than anything he’s done. From The Wake Up Show days to future projects, we talk about it all. Evidence is dope. He signed my cd.

What if there was a machine that could shoot a billion watts of electricity into the planet’s atmosphere and theoretically change the weather or even cause it? Well there is! It’s called HAARP and, while it might just be a research program funded by both the US Air Force and Navy, it might be also […] The post AREA-52 006: “Weather… Or Not?” appeared first on Utah Podcast Network.
