This morning we had the opportunity to sit down with one of my favorite voices on ClubHouse. I was first introduced to Brianna Greenspan after stumbling across her message in The Miracle Morning room. It's a safe space for all growth seeking individuals searching for a greater understanding of themselves and their overall purpose. Bri is definitely an ambassador for goodness. We’re embarking on the last few days of the presidential election of 2020. How are you feeling? Mentally exhausted and annoyed... definitely a possibility at this point in the race. Some of you have disowned family and friends due to their lack of empathy or privileged perceptions toward reality in the US. We’re all humans and learning as we grow so remember to be KIND to all of your brothers and sisters red, blue, or indifferent this coming week. As long as you’re not hurting others I believe in broadcasting your passions to the world. Whether your candidate wins or not all of us will have a lot of work to do as a country and community. People are preparing for riots and possibly a civil war. America needs healing no matter who our commander and chief will be. Praying for everyone and voting for EQUALITY. Period. ☮️ --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Comparing ourselves to others is typically a bad idea that leaves us feeling lesser than. What about in competitive roles? I’ve found that comparing myself to the top performer in sales inspired the drive to want to become better. Comparing can be helpful but also can become counterproductive. Focus on your journey today and all of your hard work whether you physically see results yet or not. In today’s episode I discuss ways to keep a rock solid mindset while chasing a new adventure. Good luck and remember to pull out the positives in each day. If you’re alive then you’re here to learn something or inspire someone else to do the same. Love y’all thanks 2,000 plays!
Sometimes all it takes is a simple picture. After 8 days without power here in Iowa I found myself dodging LinkedIn. I was so drained and emotionally stressed that I could feel the pressure building up. After being racially profiled as a Spanish speaking person due to my skin tone I was pretty disappointed in a certain individual. He had lashed out in anger demanding I stop speaking entirely. (He isnt Spanish he’s Caucasian). Speaking english for 30mins then demanding a brown person to stop speaking in another language as if they aren’t comprehending english properly is disgraceful. Spanish people are beautifully talented and amazing individuals. That just isn’t my culture as I’m part black and part white. I’ve come too far to allow anything someone else says to upset me... I’m a human and not a robot so I needed some guidance. Where do I go? I look up my thought leaders on LinkedIn and re-listened to their stories over and over. There it was..another classic picture of Sara Blakely drinking out of a larger than life coffee mug. This mug read “don’t quit your day dream”... Well damn! In that moment it hit me that my focus is on my vision and this was simply a lesson along the ride. No one can define us or make us feel lesser than. Peoples judgements on us matter only when we accept them into our spirit. My spirit is reserved for dreams and purpose. We might not have power but we hold all of the power still. Thanks for rockin with me through the storm everyone. Still bringing the light even if the switch won’t actually work. Haha, stay blessed and thank you for allowing me to be Annoyingly Positive! Thank you to the phenomenal powerhouse Sara Blakely for the fabulously impactful mugshot! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Some people like to sit around and chat about their views. I find refuge in picking the brains of people with massive influence. There's something about tapping into a world that's unfamiliar to you and finding so many similarities along the way. When people speak about hope and drive toward their dreams it's important to analyze the small parts behind the scene as well. Dreams happen for people who discover ways to get their voice and mission listened to. Join me as we sit back and hear how sticking to your passions can ultimately steer you right along the path that the universe has set out for you. He discusses the fun and privileges that take placee with shooting some of Hollywood's top A-List celebrities. Never give up and always keep it Annoyingly Positive. There’s one thing that all of my wonderful guests have had in common. They all have established a daily routine. There’s nothing wrong with going throughout your day on a whim and taking things as they come. When you’re looking to grow and become an improved version of who you currently are then a routine is necessary. Throughout my career in the Automotive industry I realized that my morning routines set the tone for my entire day. This isn’t something that simply sounds good it takes work and determination. Do you work with someone who is LUCKY and seems to always be a step ahead of the rest? More than likely they aren’t lucky at all. They’re probably hyper-focused on their goals so they consistently do the things that have proven to give them success. Don’t roll your eyes at the person winning. Look at yourself and your actions throughout the day and seek out the areas of opportunity. Get up earlier without making excuses. Whether you’re working from home or working 70-80hrs a week you do have the time. Are your goals priority enough for you to commit to a proven routine? Leaders don’t make excuses they find a way. Thanks for allowing me to be Annoyingly Positive!

If your greatness makes someone else uncomfortable that’s their battle. It’s not our job to water ourselves down in order for others to feel more secure within their own space. When you’re on a purpose mission protect your dream like a baby. It’s ok to be weird when your intentions are solid. If we all walked, talked, and dressed the same life would get pretty repetitive. As I was conducting essential tools run the other day I witnessed some really poor leadership. Micromanaging employees in front of customers is NEVER ok. Whether you have good intentions or not your actions matter. Today I discuss the need for servant leadership at this time. Build your employees up more than ever.
