Behind a black curtain, in the glorious town of Newcastle Under Lyme, exists arguably the poshest, most luxurious red "green" room of any comedy club in the UK... possibly the world. A brand new venue for an established club, this is worlds apart from the previous ROFL green room, a cupboard sized box, with a Del Boy paint job, dodgy heating and a permanently leaking tap. We've upgraded for our 5th anniversary and it was worth it! To celebrate this, the first episode of Behind the Curtain, co-hosts Cokey and Franki Falkow introduce you to the ROFL Comedy Club Podcast. Learn more about the club itself and what it's like behind the scenes as they try to avoid talking about the club's owner, Lee Jones Jnr. who has specifically asked not to be mentioned. Sorry Lee. We'll be bringing you interviews from the best and brightest comedians working the British and International circuits, but on this episode Cokey and Franki explain what you can expect to hear on the show. Tune in to episode 2 which is available right now to truly go behind the curtain. Make sure to check out the ROFL YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHnJwtaQWRAGh9WseXsEF3Q) to watch the comedians in action.
