It's been a minute, but here we are. Welcome back to another episode of Devoted Cowgirl
After a long hiatus, I'm back to remind everyone to jump in, take the risk, enter the barrel race, do the dang thing! You've got this.
Just a friendly reminder to those that are struggling: it gets better. Without the struggles, the successes don't mean as much.
Do you have friends that will clap for you no matter where you're at? Will they push you to be better? Do you clap for your friends, even when they're where you want to be in life? This week I'm reminding everyone how important it is to have good friends. They can get you through the best and worst times.
How's your faith temp? Are you on fire for Jesus or are you just lukewarm and settling? This week I'm sharing a bit about where I'm at in my faith.
Cherokee legend says there are two wolves inside each of us. A dark one and a light one. Which wolf do you feed and how does that affect your performance?
Are you sitting with winners or losers? The saying goes if you sit with 4 losers, you'll become the 5th. What happens when you sit with 4 winners?
Just a little reminder that our horses only have so many runs and that we need to pay attention to their needs more than our wants.
This week I'm encouraging those of you that are like me. The ones that have to do it themselves. The ones that are grinding. Keep going but don't forget to look up and see how far you've come!
How many times do you wish you were in a different place in your life? I know I do all the time. This week, I'm sharing a bit of my personal story in the hopes that I can encourage others through their frustration.
Would you say the things you say about yourself about your best friend? No? Yeah, me neither. It's a struggle to remain positive but our brain does what we tell it. This week is a reminder to train your brain to believe in yourself. You are capable, confident, and worthy.
Ever feel like God forgot about you or the promises He made to you? I have. It's frustrating but I'm here to remind you that He's in the waiting and always moving.
A person's faith journey is never a straight line. There are ups, downs, twists and turns. It's frustrating, it's joyous, it's annoyi g, it's exhilarating. This week's episode is a reminder that it's absolutely okay to feel all of those things on your journey. You don't have to be joyous all the time. It's okay to be human.
Ever feel like we're in a world where negativity constantly outweighs and overpowers positivity and joy?! I recorded this as a reminder that the Bible has a happy ending and God already knows the outcome. It's our job as Christians to share that Good News with others.
I used to be afraid of failure. I couldn't have told you that 3 years ago but I recognize it now. In this week's episode I'm reminding everyone that failure can be success if we learn from it.
Do you get stuck comparing yourself to others?! I know I do! This week I chat about the mentality I'm starting 2022 with. I'm competing only with myself this year. Who cares what anyone else gets done? It's me vs. me.
