This series covers Daniel 1-6, where we learn about godly living in a godless age. Though Daniel was a Jewish captive living in hostile Babylon, he was able to engage the culture without compromising his faith. His ability to remain faithful to God was a result of God revealing Himself as the Sovereign One over all kings and kingdoms and promising to one day usher in His eternal kingdom.

Are you in a spiritual fire? The fires of this life can come quickly and unexpectedly. They can cause devastation, but they can can also bring beauty and new life. We all face the elements. We all face trials, tribulations, and tests. The question is—How will you come out of those experiences? Sometimes God allows His people to go through the fire because He wants to burn things out of our lives and give us an opportunity to experience newness, growth, and to polish us for purpose. Other times the enemy sends fires that threaten to steal, kill, and destroy.
