Julianne Romanello is a mother of four and an independent scholar whose academic research interests include the life and writings of Eric Voegelin, Plato, and Kierkegaard. Roxanne Gupta is a retired professor of Anthropology & Religious Studies whose life experiences are not only widely varied and unique but consistently outside the norms of convention.  At a young age, Roxanne ventured to far-away India and quickly embraced its culture and people; becoming proficient in Indian classical dance and yoga. Our conversation ventured into some of the deeper philosophical and social dynamics of the rapidly changing times we are currently living in as a result of "Covid".  Figuring out who one is and what one considers to be the place in which they "make their stand" is a recurring and important undertaking these days.  Especially for those who've refused to go along with the narrative that has been spun around the "pandemic" and its many mandates and rules.  This is great conversation.  I think you'll enjoy it. Thank you for listening! -Peter

This week I sat down and had a conversation with long-time activist, videographer and photographer, Bob Nilsson.  Bob was on the ground engaged in doing whatever he could to resist the arrival of Fracking (hyrdo-fracking gas drilling) into NY state and, more specifically, his neck of the woods of The Finger Lakes region.  We chat about what got him started down that path and what he brought to the struggle.  Bob recognizes an effective, peaceful, civil resistance derives from standing in one's truth.  Using the Gandhian "truth force" that is well, up from which meaningful protest is drawn.Our conversation led us into grappling with what it takes to present the same kind of sustained, unified, peaceful disobedience to the mandates and restrictions that are swarming around us in today's world of vaccines and viruses.It's a thoughtful conversation that speaks from the heart and
