Step inside the chilling world of Dr. H. H. Holmes, the suave con man, medical fraudster, and architect of America's most infamous “Murder Castle.” In this Early Release episode, we peel back the polished veneer Holmes wore so well to expose the predator beneath. Aman who turned charm into a weapon, bodies into profit, and opportunity into terror. From his eerie medical-school schemes and corpse-insurance scams…to the labyrinthine Englewood building designed to confuse, isolate, and kill…to the devastating murder of Benjamin Pitezel and the cross-country hunt for his missing children…this episode follows the full arc of a man who reinvented himself with every handshake and erased those who trusted him.Thank you to Patreon member Tiffany M. for the suggestion!!

In this episode of The Property Nerds, hosts Arjun Paliwal and Adrian Lee from InvestorKit and Jack Fouracre from Fouracre Financial speak with Aman Sethi about how he has strategically built an $11 million property portfolio across eight properties in just five years. The conversation explores how his journey began with a focus on property value over quantity, allowing him to prioritise high-return assets rather than chasing numbers. A pivotal part of his strategy was rapidly expanding from two to eight properties, leveraging strong equity and robust income amid the COVID-19 pandemic property boom. His business, JICS Australia, provided financial stability during this period, enabling him to pursue aggressive investment opportunities. Sethi's portfolio spans executive homes in middle-ring suburbs with unique features, delivering strong rental yields and significant capital growth, including a standout Adelaide property that nearly doubled in value. Even properties that presented challenges offered valuable lessons, helping him refine his approach and work effectively with tenants and advisory partners. Money management, long-term planning, and removing emotion from investment decisions have been central to his success.
UConn is 1-1 in its marquee non-conference games thus far, with missing players having a notable role in both outcomes. We also covered the Bryant game on Sunday and previewed upcoming matchups with No. 13 Illinois at MSG and Kansas (RV) in Lawrence. We also discussed the emergence of Eric Reibe, the excellence of Silas Demary Jr., and early criticisms brewing around the roster. A s nadsázkou dodává, že když v pralese dostal horečky, vzal si antimalarika, antibiotika a ještě šel k šamanovi, aby aspoň něco zabralo. A proč i slepé cesty mohou člověka dovést tam, kam by jinak nikdy nedošel? Poslechněte si celý rozhovor.

In this episode, I'm speaking with Aman Chawla, who moved from India to Fredericton, New Brunswick in 2023.Canada wasn't Aman's first choice when he and his wife started considering immigrating. He wanted Ireland. The time-zone difference wasn't much. Flights back home lasted about 13 hours. But the pandemic meant that didn't happen. They also considered Australia. That didn't work out too. So Canada it was. His wife moved over first for an MBA.Aman and their toddler followed along six months after. But this was only possible because a member of parliament stepped in to help with the family reunification.Aman and I chat about:Making Fredericton, New Brunswick homeLanding a job within weeks through preparationWhat four months of unemployment taught himWhy he believes immigrants need to stop complaining and start contributing

From certificate worship to critical thinking: Why your education ends where real success begins - and the daily habit that separates achievers from dreamers. In this transformative episode of Konnected Minds, Aisini Aman returns with unfiltered wisdom that demolishes the certificate-chasing mentality keeping young Africans trapped in employment fantasies. With his signature mystical positivity, he exposes a fundamental truth: the education system deliberately limits your thinking to keep you seeking jobs instead of creating value. The conversation cuts deep into the emotional warfare of entrepreneurship - dealing with people who chop your money, navigating daily problems that threaten to derail your vision, and the principle of never deviating from core truth. Aman reveals why sticking to intrinsic values like honesty, compassion, and work ethic matters more than any material gain, and why nations that sacrifice human value for wealth eventually destroy themselves with guns and knives. He challenges the colonial ideology that not everyone can be an entrepreneur, pointing to the graduate sitting at home with village land perfect for cassava farming. "Entrepreneurship is solving problems," he declares, "there's nothing magical about it." The episode exposes how physical colonization extended into knowledge colonization, making Africans believe their own innovations are worthless while chasing validation from New York and London. Critical revelations include: • Why your certificate is not proof of education - the resource you produce is • The topology principle: the further you move from core truth, the less successful you become • Why there's a difference between having money and having joy, value, and fulfillment • How stealing from others is actually stealing from yourself - a principle of wealth creation • The daily habit that guarantees long-term success: knowledge acquisition every day • Why Ghanaian musicians gain traction from home, not abroad - your roots are your strength • The religion test: does it promote love, truth, and justice, or financial ignorance disguised as faith? • Why God giving everyone talent means everyone can be somebody From watching YouTube videos to buying CDs before the internet era, Aman demonstrates that continuous learning is non-negotiable for success. He dismantles the lie that some people must remain poor to serve the rich, revealing how robots and machines can handle dignity-stripping work while humans focus on innovation. The conversation reaches its peak with a provocative question about leadership: do those in power not know the truth, or do they know but deliberately keep people confused? Aman's answer cuts through the confusion: "You cannot really have the truth and teach lies. If your teaching is right, why are the people confused? Why are they begging for visas to jump out?" This isn't motivation - it's a systematic breakdown of the design systems that bring results. From financial principles to entrepreneurship frameworks to the anthropology of truth, Aman provides clarity of thought as the true form of success. He challenges the ideology that keeps Africans creating content for international audiences who barely watch, when the real traction comes from home. The episode concludes with wisdom about daily habits: knowledge acquisition through reading, searching, watching, and learning - the compound interest of personal development that transforms dreamers into achievers. This is the unfiltered truth about why clarity, core values, and continuous learning matter more than certificates, why your roots are your strength, and why the treasure of creation is human value that must never be sacrificed for material gain. MNMT Recordings : Hewan Aman — Kune Festival 2025 “KUNE was one of my favorite festival experiences this summer. It was an absolute honor to be invited, especially for a set surrounded by fellow story tellers and music selectors I deeply admire. Wild and generous location, giving so much space to move at your own rhythm. I felt connected to the beautiful community that gathers there and held by the presence of the sea, which was like a constant anchor. The curation stood out. Long sets, excellent sound, beautifully designed stages, and this subtle intensity I keep finding in Denmark. I learned about Yndelov ~ a kind of quiet code that encourages not thinking you're better than anyone, even when doing something exceptional. I found that spirit present in the way the festival was curated and lived ~ generous, grounded, and without ego. My set took place between 3 and 6am, in the belly of the Vessel stage, a concrete bunker. The sun rose halfway through ~ I didn't see it directly, but witnessing it light up people's faces as they danced was equally moving. Squeezed in between Peachlyfe's dreamy vibe, and Lund & Ronde goblin psy ride I really couldn't be happier. Big love and thanks to the KUNE family. Really happy to be sharing the recording.” Hewan Aman is a DJ, sound explorer and artist whose sets move between deep bass, atmospheric layers and emotionally-charged rhythms. Drawing from dub, trance, breaks and experimental club music, she plays with contrasts ~ shadow and light, softness and impact ~ creating space for both introspection and collective release. Captured live from the concrete belly of the Vessel stage, this set chronicles Hewan Aman's masterful three-hour navigation from the depths of night into the first light of dawn at Kune Festival. The journey begins in shadow, moving through darker, psychedelic territories, with the mix evolving as the sun begins to rise, skillfully evolving and giving way to an ascendant wave of deeper, euphoric, trancey luminosity. Craig Unger reveals that Bill Casey operated through the Safari Club, an off-the-books intelligence group. Casey utilized Iranian arms dealers, the Hashim brothers, who were secretly double agents working for him since the mid-1970s. Casey's best friend, John Shaheen, acted as the crucial cutout, meeting with arms dealers to shield Casey from media scrutiny. Further investigation confirmed that key source Ari Ben Mashi worked directly for Israeli military intelligence, Aman. This solidified the existence of a secret arms channel flowing from Israel to Iran, a fact Israel wanted hidden because it showed they participated in sabotaging an American presidential election. Guest: Craig Unger.

In this insightful talk, Dr. Mufti Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera explores the core reasons marriage is emphasized in Islam—spiritually, emotionally, and socially—highlighting how it brings stability, companionship, and a pathway to fulfilling one's faith. He outlines the essential qualities to look for when choosing a spouse, focusing on character, piety, emotional maturity, and compatibility, while cautioning against superficial criteria that often mislead. Dr. Mangera also addresses how individuals can prepare themselves for marriage by cultivating strong personal habits, realistic expectations, and a clear understanding of the responsibilities that come with this sacred bond. The talk further examines common causes of marital conflict, from communication breakdowns and unmet expectations to spiritual neglect and external pressures. Dr. Mangera offers practical and faith-anchored strategies to prevent and resolve these issues, urging couples to approach marriage with sincerity, patience, and a commitment to mutual growth. By blending classical teachings with contemporary insight, he equips listeners with the tools needed to build marriages that are resilient, compassionate, and rooted in divine guidance. UConn men's basketball is 3-0 after wins over New Haven, UMass Lowell, and Columbia to start the regular season. For the most part, all systems appear to be running smoothly for Dan Hurley's squad. We'll see their first big test on Saturday against BYU. After the return of Tarris Reed Jr., the Huskies are still down a couple of guys as they begin a challenging stretch of the season. Despite the 3-0 record, everything hasn't looked pristine, as one might hope when taking on a brand-new Division 1 team or an Ivy League cellar-dweller. They did put up historic numbers against UMass Lowell — that was fun.In the latest episode of the podcast, Aman, Patrick, and Dan discuss the highlights and strengths from the fellas thus far and preview the BYU matchup.

Venture capitalist Aman Verjee joins Gene Tunny to explore whether artificial intelligence is fuelling the next great economic bubble. Drawing lessons from history—from the 1840s railway boom to the 1990s dot-com surge—Aman argues that even frothy markets can spark long-term progress. The conversation also covers AI's impact on jobs, productivity, and how policy can nurture innovation without strangling it.Gene would love to hear your thoughts on this episode.
