Pastor Adam wraps up our series on Love Letters From Jesus, exploring the letters to the churches in Revelation.

We are listening to a message on the Church of Philadelphia; the 6th Love Letter from Jesus.  This only the 2nd Letter that does not rebuke the Church.  

Read Revelation 3:1-6 before listening to this message.  Rev. Adam Nickell continues on the journey of the 7 churches.  This letter is to a church on life support.  In the midst of moral degradation in Sardis, Jesus tells His church to act not just listen.  We must work at living in Christ.  Faith without works is dead; therefore, speaking the word without acting upon it makes us dead inside.  WAKE UP and DO good works! There is always hope in the Lord but we must act on His word.

Read Revelation 2:11-17 prior to listening to this podcast. Today, Sunday, February 16th, 2020, Rev. Adam Nickell conducts a review of the third Love Letter from Jesus. Pergamum, the 3rd church of 7; the 3rd love letter; a church who compromised its values taught by Jesus.  Continue this journey with us by listening to the message.  

Read Revelations 2:8-11 prior to listening to this podcast.  This is the Letter to Smyrna.  The only church of the 7 who was only praised by Jesus; not reprimanded.  They were a church who truly suffered for their faith.  This is the 2nd letter of 7 in this series.  Join us each Sunday for the review of another letter.

Rev. Adam Nickell continued the series on "Broken and Poured Out", the qualities we as a church want to practice and share with those inside and outside of our Gentle Shepherd.  The first quality is Generosity.  We want to be seen as a generous; giving like Christ. 

Read Hebrews 13:7-17 before listening to this podcast.  Rev. Prince is a guest preacher at Gentle Shepherd Community Church.  He has brought the word here many times since his retirement about 7 years ago.  He is the Pastor Emeritus and we are thrilled to have him with us again today.

Rev. Adam Nickell has introduced our new Fall series of "Broken and Poured Out" defining the qualities we would like to possess as a church.  This week he spoke on "Generous/Generosity".  We would like to be generous with our love, kindness, compassion, hope, faith, etc.  Read scripture Luke 7:36-50 before listening to this message.

Pastor Adam Nickell wraps up our Summer Series of "The Questions God Asks?" with the very first question Jesus every spoke "What do you want?".  Not only is it the first questions Jesus ever asked, these are also the first words Jesus speaks in the New Testament.

Payge Lucas continues our summer series of "The Questions God Asks?" with "What Am I Doing Here?"  Great questions and sometimes the topic of debate.  With God we don't need to question"if" we are but we want to know the "why".  Payge does a great job letting us know the reason we are here.  

Rev. Paul Lucas continued our summer series "The Questions God Asks" with "What is YOUR Name?"  Shouldn't God know us?  Does He not say "...He knew us before we were born?"  Then why does He not know?  Listen here and learn the answer to this question.  Read Genesis 32:22-32

Rev. Adam Nickell continues with his summer series "The Questions God Asks".  This is the 3rd episode in a series.  The first episode was "Where Are You?"; next was "Moses, What is in Your Hand?" and now, "Where Were You?".  Open your minds and your hearts to here what God is asking of you.  Read Scripture Job 38:1-18 ~ Job suffered terribly; he even questioned God about his suffering; and yet, Job was forever faithful in his love for God.  And, God was ever faithful to Job.

We are blessed today, Sunday, June 23rd, to have Rev. Dr. Ann Gillies share a message on temptation with us.  Who among us can say we are never tempted?  Or maybe have a difficult time standing strong in the face of temptation?  Few if any, I am sure.  Rev. Gillies shes light on this topic.

We continue are series on "Techwise" in this society of social media.  As this message begins, enjoy the reading of the following scripture, Genesis 1:24-28.  Technology is great but as with everything, we need a balance.  Listen to the this series and learn what is good and what we need to look out for.  

Sunday we began a new series called "Techwise".  Rev. Paul Lucas introduced us to this new epidemic - Technology.  Some topics are difficult to hear but very necessary.  We often need to delve into the hard stuff.  Rev. Lucas brought an amazing topic and brought light to the dark.

On this Mother's Day, Pastor Adam chose to remind us how to look after ourselves; how to protect and rejuvenate our souls.  Self-care is so important but Soul-care a necessity.

Read 1 John 2:7-14, then listen to the message brought by Rev. Paul Lucas.  We are not alone as parents.  Our church family, is right there with us, ready to guide and provide help when needed.  

Enjoy the message from Resurrection Sunday learning the evidence is overwhelming for Jesus overcoming death.  Case Closed leaves no room for doubt.
