Spiritual Warfare is REAL! Here's How to Protect Yourself. The battle begins the moment we accept Jesus as Savior, and the enemy strategically attacks key areas of our faith, including our understanding of God, our identity in Him, and our trust in His promises. The enemy's tactics include accusation to bring condemnation, stealing blessings and opportunities, destroying relationships, twisting truth to create deception, and even causing physical illness. But God has given us powerful spiritual armor to stand firm: Helmet of Salvation – Protects the mind from deception Breastplate of Righteousness – Guards the heart from sin Belt of Truth – Keeps us grounded in God's Word Shield of Faith – Deflects enemy attacks Sword of the Spirit – The Word of God as our weapon Feet of Peace – Provides stability in spiritual battle Victory in spiritual warfare doesn't come from human strength but from standing firm in God's power, staying rooted in prayer, and recognizing that the true battle is spiritual, not physical. ➡️ Listen now to learn how to fight spiritual battles with confidence and overcome the enemy's tactics through biblical truth!

The health and effectiveness of a church depends on the health and effectiveness of each individual believer, just as the health and vitality of your physical body is dependent on its individual parts.Romans 12:3-8 says:For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. As we consider how members of a local church body are to contribute to the health of their congregations, we will look first at humility, secondly at unity, and thirdly at responsibility. In this our third week of prayer we focus on our churches and ministries. It's easy to claim a relationship with Jesus but be cynical about the organized church. Yet we need the church--with all its flaws--in order to stretch us, mature us, and teach us to love people who are different from us. It was Jesus himself who said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Vintage City Church // Teaching Series: Revelation // Dustin Scott // Revelation 1:4-20In Today's message, Pastor Dustin helps us understand the context, meaning, and application of the truths in The Book of Revelation 1:4-20. Have you thought about if you have areas in your life where you cling to people and other kingdoms more than Jesus, the Person of truth? Or would you say you are more distracted by earthly kingdoms than God's Kingdom? The message for Today encourages us to cling to Jesus tirelessly, the Witness to an embodiment of truth. Why? Because the enemy always attacks truth and temps us to bite the bait of falsity, it's our call and privilege to engage in and receive life in God's truths. How do we do that? We must draw near to God by spending more time with Him, digging deeper into His Word, and consulting the wisdom found in the Church Body. We are called to repent of believing in Satan's falsity and lies and embrace the King and His truths and His riches, clinging to God's Kingdom and not the earthly kingdoms.
Have you ever felt confused by the sometimes conflicting messages from the church about body image?Women are simultaneously told that our bodies are a beautiful temple for the Holy Spirit, while also that we should be modest and almost hide ourselves. The fact is, so many hard-working, Christian women miss out on the freedom and confidence that comes from a body image rooted in Christ, and instead battle thoughts of insecurity and self-doubt.Which is why I'm so excited to share this life-giving conversation I had with Christian Fitness Coach, Hannah Roy! This study examines how we can use our gifts as the Bible says to use them.
