It was a rough night in college basketball as a couple things become clear. Kansas is not the typical squad that's easy to like. Darryn Peterson has been a distraction, Bill Self lost control Tuesday night and got booted. Then Jacque Vaughn got a T and Elmarko Jackson committed a flagrant foul. It had a spoiled brat look we are not used to seeing. Meanwhile, Mizzou's final week of the regular season starts with a dud of a performance at OU. Mizzou is not predictable or consistent in any way and it's hard to understand why. The World Baseball Classic starts for Team USA Friday night... we'll hear from Bobby Witt Jr. who is starring as the leadoff hitter. The Kansas Senate is working on a state law to require parental permission for a child to leave class and go to a demonstration. Of course this is so logical the left is losing it's mind. In Missouri, lawmakers want to bring back driver's education and make it a requirement for graduation. Mail in voting remains undefeated as Olathe Schools win $389 million from taxpayers in the off election mail in scam of the year. The emails just keep flowing in about Pastor Adam Hamilton who says he's likely running for US Senator. Texas has some interesting election results and Kansas Speedway is hosting a national television broadcast this week.

Like many people, my daily schedule must run on time and has a routine. While that's a great goal for a president to have, it must be nearly impossible. We present to you today what we know about President Trump giving the command to attack Iran and the other things he was doing when he gave the nine word order. It's truly incredible to hear and of course, finished with him ordering hamburgers for everyone at a Whataburger in Texas. Amazing. Trump also summed up what we discussed a little on yesterday's podcast... the Dems are going to criticize him no matter what. Many dems that were calling for action against Iran are now blasting Trump for doing it. You can't make this up. Bill Clinton's testimony in the Epstein investigation is sad and embarrassing. We are not only reminded what a creepy and out of control man he is... now his hands shake profusely and he seems confused. This is not good for America. We touched a nerve talking about Pastor Adam Hamilton and his run for US Senate as the emails I received were all about uncomfortable experiences people have had with Hamilton and his church. I can't get enough infor about the runningback the Chiefs want and now it's believed other NFL teams are on high alert to prevent it. The Royals announce the signing of an old outfielder that's had a great career. And ICE has a sneaky new tactic they are using... we'll tell you in our Final Final.

Pastor Adam BowersWhat do you do with shame that feels bigger than you?In this message from 2 Chronicles 29:5 to 11, Pastor Adam walks us through King Hezekiah stepping into a nation marked by spiritual ruin. The temple was closed, worship had stopped, and the people lived under a heavy legacy of failure and disgrace.Hezekiah did not ignore the shame. He confronted it and called the people back to God.This sermon explores the difference between holy shame that leads to repentance and unhealthy shame that destroys identity. We also see a clear path from shame to renewal through six key words: Listen. Purify. Remove. Remember. Commit. Lead.If shame has been stealing your vision or holding you back from bold faith, this message is for you. Your past does not disqualify you from God's future. Renewal begins when we open the doors again.
What could God build from one step of obedience? In Epic Faith, Part 3, Pastor Adam looks at Noah's story in Hebrews 11 and shows how faith often begins before you fully understand what God is doing. Noah built when there were no clouds, no applause, and no evidence — just a word from God.If you've ever sensed God nudging you to change, start, stop, stay, forgive, or surrender — this message is for you. You'll be challenged to stop waiting for clarity before obedience and to trust that what feels foolish now may become faith-defining later.Because you truly have no idea what God might build in you — or through you — from one simple step of obedience.

In Epic Faith, Part 2, Pastor Adam explores Hebrews 11 and the life of Enoch to show how a daily walk with God leads to a life that pleases Him. If you've ever wondered how to move from simply knowing God loves you to living in a way that honors Him, this message will challenge and encourage you to pursue a deeper, more intentional faith.

Political scientist Adam Carrington reflects on the bi-vocational pastor at Cities Church in St. Paul who also serves with ICE. Many pastors are bi-vocational: working as a pastor, but also having a job on the side to provide for himself and family. How do you wisely do so? He also celebrates the 156th anniversary of the ratification of the 15th Amendment of the US Constitution. Carmen seeks to answer a listener question about what do you do when you've stayed the same theologically and culturally, but the church you attend has shifted markedly. Continuing from last week's message, The New You Part 2 invites you to go deeper into spiritual discernment. In this message, Pastor Adam teaches from Ephesians 4, revealing how discernment grows when we begin to recognize patterns in our lives. Some patterns align with God, while others subtly reflect the world. This sermon in the Armed & Dangerous series challenges you to sharpen your awareness and walk intentionally in alignment with God's truth.
In this episode of The Follow Up, we take a deeper look at John 11:1–44 and Jesus' declaration, “I am the resurrection and the life.”Pastor Adam joins the conversation to explore the raising of Lazarus and what this miracle reveals about Jesus' power over death, His compassion for those who grieve, and God's greater purposes in seasons of waiting. We discuss why Jesus delayed, how Mary and Martha expressed faith in the middle of loss, and why Jesus wept even though resurrection was moments away. This passage reminds us that death is an enemy, not a design feature, and that real hope is found in a Person, not just a promise. We also reflect on spiritual resurrection and the confidence we can have that no heart is beyond Jesus' voice. If you are wrestling with unanswered prayers, grief, or trusting God's timing, this episode offers encouragement rooted in the truth of who Jesus is.Subscribe, share, and join us each week as we continue through the Gospel of John together.

In The New You, Pastor Adam teaches from 1 Corinthians, challenging us to see 2026 not just as a new year, but as a revelation of who we already are in Christ. What if the very thing that makes us dangerous is understanding that we are truly new? This message equips us with powerful declarations to speak over our life. This word shifts how we see ourselves and our future. Tune in to this next message in the Armed & Dangerous series.
This Sunday we explored Romans 8:18-27, addressing the tension between present suffering and future glory for believers. Pastor Adam emphasizes that while Christians are new creations in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit, they still experience suffering in a fallen world. However, this suffering serves divine purposes: it confronts us with our need for Jesus, conforms us into Christ's image, and confirms we are His followers. This teaches that suffering should not be interpreted as a lack of God's love, but rather understood through the lens of Christ's sacrificial love demonstrated at the cross. The Holy Spirit intercedes for believers during their deepest suffering, and creation itself groans in anticipation of redemption. Hope is presented not as wishful thinking but as an anchored certainty in Christ's return and the promise of new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells. Believers are called to wait eagerly, standing on tiptoes in anticipation of Christ's return, knowing that present afflictions are producing an eternal weight of glory.

Adam BowersIn this message, Pastor Adam begins a new series exploring four aspects of who God is: the Holy Architect, the Loving Community, the Sovereign King, and the Gracious Finisher. This teaching introduces God as the Holy Architect, emphasizing that while many spiritual beings exist, there is only one true, supreme Creator: Yahweh, the God of gods. Drawing from Scripture, Pastor Adam explains how the Bible uses the word “elohim,” why God is utterly unique among all spiritual beings, and how creation itself reveals intentional design, order, and purpose.Pastor Adam also unpacks what it means to believe in one God who is Creator of all things, holy, and infinitely perfect. Through biblical theology, illustrations from science and history, and Moses' final words to Israel, this message challenges us to recognize God as the ultimate standard of truth and morality, and to respond with wholehearted love, obedience, and faithfulness to the one true God.

What if the most “overlooked” man in the Christmas story is actually one of the most important—and shows us what biblical manhood really looks like? Simeon isn't usually the first name we think of in the Christmas story, but his life gives us one of the clearest pictures of what a real man looks like—righteous, devout, Spirit-filled, hope-driven, Christ-centered, and a blessing to others. As we close out our year of focusing on biblical manhood, we're invited to look deeper: What do we see in Simeon that points us to what a real man truly is? In this week's message, Pastor Adam walks through Luke 2 and shows how Simeon's life wasn't defined by his own strength or status, but by the only One who is the perfect Real Man—Jesus. Because Jesus is the Savior, Salvation Himself, the Revealer of hearts, the Resurrected One, the Strong and Wise God-Man, we can become the men—and women—God calls us to be.
