What do you do when the cultural ground beneath your feet starts to shift? In this powerful episode, Stephen Davey begins a new series called Upon This Rock by addressing the vital question, “Who are we as the church?” As our culture redefines morality, identity, and truth, this message offers an unshakable foundation rooted in Christ's words from Matthew 16. You'll discover two defining truths: the church is mastered by an unrivaled Master, and it is commissioned with an unchanging manifesto. Stephen explains why this is not the time for the church to retreat, compromise, or remain silent. This is a moment for clarity, courage, and conviction. Whether you're discouraged by the headlines or unsure how to navigate the days ahead, this episode will encourage you to stand firm on the bedrock of Christ and carry the gospel boldly into a darkening world. You'll also learn how true believers can shine brighter than ever—faithful, gracious, and unwavering. The church isn't just surviving—it's on mission. And that mission hasn't changed.

In week one of our new series, “Ekklesia," we explored the foundation of the church as a community of Jesus' followers dedicated to worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission. We reflected on the early church's imperfections and challenges. Despite these challenges, we saw that God can work through any church's flaws. We were challenged to be bold, powerful witnesses of Jesus' message through both words and actions by living our lives with integrity, humility, and unity - so that all people will come to know Jesus.
