It's time for croquet! The Brunch Bunch (plus Squiggles) takes to the field to try and recruit the last two cards for Quip's deck. Crack continues his ruse as Quip while the real Quip tries to infiltrate the Queen of Heart's personal tower. He would have failed miserably several times if Korvis hadn't been there with him. Near the end we try to figure out how time works and we think we crushed it!CAST:Game Master...Celine TrellaMalcolm Glass...Jake DiBlasiQuip Buttfore…Sean DoughertyStevie Harrington…Monica GalarzaKorvis…Ted SikoraCREDITS:Theme Song...Ryan LoganScore...Jake Diblasi, Rafael Miranda, Justyn Trella, Kevin O'Leary, and Monument StudiosEditor...Sean DoughertyAudio Producer…Celine TrellaCover Art...Matt MacriCharacter Art...Steph Catalioto Sound Effects…Monument Studios
As the first day of games begin the Misfits set their plans in motion. Meanwhile, Quip calls in his favor from Susan to help plan for the impending heists. As the first season of Legends Rerolled, “The Wizard of Bogs” strives to make TTRPG storytelling approachable to people new to the genre by updating a beloved classic.Delores Thatch is a jaded Millennial who works at a Chicago diner until a tornado takes her from the Windy City to the magical land of Oz. Desperately needing to file an insurance claim on her now wrecked vehicle, Delores and her new friends, Sonny Crowley (a living scarecrow), Terry Tinman (a heart broken woodsman), and Cal Broadtooth (a down on his luck prince), seek out the highest authority in the land, the mysterious Wizard of Bogs. Join her as she gets tangled up in the messy politics of this strange new land and comes to discover she may be closer to home than she realizes.
As their evening continues, the stakes get higher for the Misfits. Quip has meetings with the Queens of both Pikes and Hearts where he is offered a place in their courts. Stevie comes face to face with her traumatic past while Malcom seems to be drawing the attention of the least stable person in the Card Kingdom. Before the night is over, they are reminded how much danger they are truly in. Despite Ted's reasonable qualms, the Misfits split the party. Quip and Mal go off with Alice, the Mad Hatter. In exchange for a small favor, she agrees to help Quip complete his deck. She also helps the boys out with some knowledge about Susan/Dyna. Meanwhile, Stevie and Korvis sneak down to the prisons to see what kind of prisoner would make the Cards and Broodkin work together. Our heroes finally arrive in the Heart's castle, where they are quickly offered help for a price. After rummaging through an office, they head into the welcome dinner with the rest of the titled guests. Quip does his best to convince the other cards that he is not a threat and the dice are kind for a change. Korvis and Mal decide that edging a door is the best way to get what they want and Stevie makes the most out of paperclips. The party has a minute to breathe for the first time since starting their adventure. Crack and his boys take the day for recon so the Misfits take a day trip to the Master of Glass' abandoned workshop. Feeling relatively safe, they are able to discuss and reflect on the journey so far only to discover that they might have more in common than they realized. There are also a lot of jokes about glass blowing equipment, which is fun.A very special shoutout to our friends over at Fantasy Pants: A DnD Adventure Podcast.
