Samo tako bomo ustvarjali majhne oaze v tej veliki puščavi sveta. Svojim dragim prijateljem naročam, da se potrudijo za srce pod plaščem!« Tako je v uvod svoje knjige z naslovom Sončni žarki ljubezni, ki je izšla pri založbi Ognjišče, zapisal avtor, Phil Bosmans. Nekaj odlomkov smo prebrali v oddaji Sol in luč.

Med pogovorom o svetih knjigah ugotovimo, da ena knjiga še manjka in da jo je treba napisati. Dogodivščine mladega Boga? Kdo sploh je ta Bog? Hvala, Oolon. Pridemo do konca 12. poglavja: Thor se v veliki vesoljski bitki bojuje z žužki v zobeh, birokratski zasuki so vredni pridevnika vogonski, mi pa kaj hitro presedlamo na zgodbe, ki jih piše življenje: tamal' per, Hot Horse, neumnost v politiki in bazen Ilirija.

Piše Jože Štucin, bere Aleksander Golja. Seveda nas ob prozi Mateja Krajnca Gospod z Ezl eka najprej zamika izvedeti, kaj je v našem času še "absurdni roman"; je to nadaljevanje literarnega žanra, ki ga je razvil predvsem Albert Camus. Njegov Mit o Sizifu je bil svojčas kultno delo, saj je premaknil smisel življenja proti nesmislu, absurdu, stanju, v katerega bitje pade ne po svoji volji in se potem iz njega lahko izvije samo na dva načina: da dogodek svoje biti ignorira ali pa v svoji enkratni pojavnosti najde izziv, lučko uma, ki sili v temo in išče način, kako absurd premagati. Da tretje možnosti, prostovoljnega odhoda s te platforme, ki v resnici ne ponuja nič konkretnega, to je samomora, niti ne omenjamo. Žanr je imel veliko smiselnih temeljev, od grozodejstev svetovnih vojn do krize človekove identitete brez Boga, v zaodrju pa so olje na ogenj prilivali še totalitaristični sistemi potrošniškega kapitalizma in idealistični diktati komunizma z vsemi vmesnimi interakcijami in podsistemi. Resničnost, ko odvržeš vse iluzije, privide, aluzije, mimikrije in sanje ... je nična, prazna množica upanja in stanje krutega zavedanja le-tega. Vse to sicer že vemo: absurd biti in bivanja, Sizif, mrtev Bog, dekadenca in podobne reči, ki nam hudiča ponujajo na pladnju in jemljejo smisel življenja ter ga sprevračajo na zgolj materialno pojavnost, vse to je sicer literarna klasika, je že nekako obdelano, predelano seveda nikakor. Je pa velik del peze celotne eksistenicialne krize prejšnjega sotletja ostal odprt za nove "pobude", za nova iskanja smisla. Kot vidimo zgodba v našem času spet dobiva navdih, spet se kopičijo absurdi in človek ponovno, nemara tokrat še bolj zares, lebdi v praznem prostoru, niču. Še vedno smo na začetku, to je prva misel ob branju tega intrigantnega dela, ki nima niti začetka niti konca, je pa tu, kot skala na hrbtu, naš korak "navzgor", ki vedno generira padec "navzdol". No, da pa se ob vsem tem najde pisatelj Matej Krajnc s svojim absurdnim junakom, gospodom z Ezl eka, je pravzaprav raritetno in občudovanja vredno oživljanje sloga polpretekle "nezgodovine", literature absurda. Junak je nekakšna glasbena figura z ulice, pevec, nastopač, ki na nekem mestu, v prostoru Ezl eka (menda predel Maribora, če se ne motimo), kroji podobo mesta. Nič posebnega, je pač nekdo, ki v svojem brezčasju išče svoj trenutek, mogoče tudi boren zaslužek, a je tam kot kandelaber, ikona ulice. To je, se zdi, temeljna postavka romana, a ker gre za roman absurda, bolje za absurden roman (ki, mimogrede, zelo minimalistično doseže romaneskni standard tako glede dolžine kot v razmahu zgodbe, ki je v resnici ni), ta "realna" oseba je vez imaginacije s fikcijo. Okrog tega "gospoda" se vse vrti. Nič ni res in vse je res. Pisatelj se je "utrgal z vajeti", bi lahko šaljivo dodali. Ima vizije mesta, ima refleksije in spomine, rad se suče med realitetatimi z ulice, hkrati pa pada v nemilost svoje lastne domišljije. Zgodba se mu suče okrog jedra kot ringlšpil v Pratru, ker pa gre za glasbene slike, je prepolna asociacij na znana umetniška in poustvarjalna imena iz zvrsti, ki tudi njega oplajajo. Če pride mimo Miles Davis, lahko samo rečemo, hvala bogu, ena realna persona v romanu. Na vse to se mešajo Bajagovi verzi, ki je tudi opeval džezerje, malo za šalo, veliko zares. In tako naprej. Ni konca ne kraja refleksij z bistrim umskim pisateljskim nagonom, ko dogodki kot poskočna kobilica preskakujejo iz časa v čas, iz sedanjosti k Franu Levstiku (odlični so citati njegovih del v objemu modernega čutenja), ko pisatelj vleče vzporednice z minulim, nekdanjim, arhaičnim in sedanjim, preminulim, živim in fiktivnim. Težko je branje prvih strani, ko pa se udobno umestiš v Krajnčev svet, ko se znebiš želje po realizmu in "odpišeš" štorijo kot nekaj, kar v tem romanu pade že po prvih stavkih, se lahko samo prikloniš bravuroznosti introspekcije, ki z navdihom ekstrospekcije mimogrede ruši tabuje in spet vzpostavlja vez z eksperimentalno literaturo, ki jo je ustvarjal James Joyce. Predvsem z njegovim zagonetnim romanom Finneganovo bdenje. Tu sicer ne gre toliko za zapis prostega toka sanj v času budnosti, temveč je bolj kot nekakšna povodenj nove resničnosti, nekaj, v kar se je svet zbudil po modernizmu in vseh tavanjih po jeziku in iskanju smisla. Kakšno delo!, nas prešine, kdo še tako radikalno sega v čase, prostore, vrednote in slike, pa spisano še plemeniti z zvočnim metabolizmom krasnih jazzovskih komadov, ki svoje zgodbe z lahkoto najdejo tudi v liturgiji popa in arta, kjer ni nobenih visokih pesmi, je pa čista kri življenja.

Instantly turning heads and leading to oodles of “when can I get my hands on that beauty?” messages pinging their way to HQ, rather than release it on one of the subsequent unmixed EPs, we challenged Lonya to give us another track of equal stature to create a dynamite double header. Not only did he do just that, but he only went and roped in his pal SNYL. The resulting collab ‘Synthetic Dreams' is a propulsive, acid-peppered call to dancefloor action. The very definition of heads down, let's go business as a mesmeric vocal wail sits atop an hypnotic groove that just doesn't let go. Synthetic by name, but as real as electronic music gets in nature. And ‘Ultimate Sin'? All we can say is, if you're familiar with Dave and Anthony's mix, you know what's coming, and will be suitably bubbling over with anticipation. And if not…well folks, a sonic treat awaits. Just let the riff draw you in, pull you all over the shop, and take up residence in your twisted but oh so grateful cranium. Masterful.
