Anthony Hamilton Jr. is a '6'2' sophomore jumping sensation at Clemson University. Hamilton Jr., is not the son of R&B crooner of Anthony Hamilton. He is a native Los Angelos, California during the 2018-2019 Track and field season he competed in the high jump at six indoor meets for Clemson University and earned Second Team All-ACC honors after his PR (Personal Record) of 2.13m (6-11.75) earned him a fourth-place finish at ACC Indoor Championships. He also ran on the Tigers' 4x400m at the Clemson Invitational (Jan. 18-19).

He played in the Negro League for The Raleigh Tigers during the 1959 season and played in the East/West All-Star game in Chicago's famous Comiskey Park. He traveled with Baseball's greatest pitcher of all time Satchell Paige. Mr. Free played for the New York Mets far team The Raleigh Caps. After baseball Mr. Free became the first full-time commissioner of the MEAC Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is a collegiate athletic conference it's members are historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the Southeastern and the Mid-Atlantic. Mr. Free was instrumental in transitioning the MEAC to NCAA Division I from Division II. In 1987, he became the first African-American appointed to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Selection Committee. After his MEAC run, Free served as Commissioner of the Eastern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (EIAC).
