SEASON 4 EPISODE 38: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: It’s not simple gaslighting about the price of gas: It’s neurological disintegration; obsessive repetition of the same lie. He has now - for the 14th time in 28 weeks - announced with shock and excited surprise that gas has "just hit" $1.98 a gallon (or "$1.99" or "under $2.00"). It's not just a lie; it's something he heard, could not understand in the first place, and is repeating at regular intervals as if he just heard it moments earlier. It is a classic sign of neurological crisis. And it is proof that invoking the 25th Amendment is imperative. And won’t happen. Any more than Trump realizing he already TOLD that lie. ALSO: Jack Smith still has a way to make the second half of his report convicting Trump public, while it turns out he tried to get rid of Aileen Cannon a year ago. It is also becoming increasingly apparent that ESPN's Stephen A. Smith may be the Jill Stein of 2028 - a stalking horse pretending to be a Democrat while being pushed by fascists. We know this much: he's mailing it in. He thinks the name of the governor of Florida is named "Ron Santis." AND TRUMP AND MELANIA talking about "Pile Driving" at night in the White House? That must be the first time in eighteen years. B-Block (35:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The Shamwow guy is back and, what else, running for Congress as a MAGA because he can't keep this up all day. Bari Weiss obviously never saw the Mary Tyler Moore Show: she's fired her old CBS News Anchors before she's fired her NEW CBS News Anchors. And Jake Tapper really does it: after he put his thumb on the scale for Trump in the Biden debate and wrote a book and sold it on CNN about Biden's acuity, he's defending Trump's mental instability. C-Block (42:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Hal Steinbrenner, owner of the New York Yankees whose franchise has increased in value by three billion in just the last four years, is trying to convince people that maybe the Yankees aren't profitable. This is clownage as old as sports itself: the saga of the year the owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers insisted "we lost two million last year!"See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The View has met their match. Stephen A. Smith is notorious for his strong opinions, and we should give credit where credit is due; he doesn't back down. Sunny Hostin called for Smith to apologize for bashing Sen. Mark Kelly for telling troops to disobey direct orders, and Smith wasn't having it. We react to the clips and break it all down. Also on the show, Yolanda Cooper-Sutton has caught a lot of heat for claiming the MFD is "raping" the city and issues a lame response, Robocop has a statue in Detroit, and syndicated columnist Ron Hart joins to talk about the Venezuela drug boat strikes. Jason Whitlock responds to Stephen A. Smith's 40-minute personal attack against the Fearless host. Whitlock details how Smith's dishonest tirade on Friday night was a ploy to deflect from Smith's anti-Drake Maye rant. Whitlock argues that Patriots owner Robert Kraft contacted Disney CEO Bob Iger to complain about Smith's personal attack on Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. Friday morning, in an attempt to defend Cam Newton, Smith called Maye a “liar” on First Take. Smith is under intense pressure and scrutiny as his ESPN show First Take becomes more embarrassing, more ghetto and more difficult to defend. Learn more about your ad choices. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, a three-judge panel issued a 160-page order blocking Texas's new congressional redistricting plan, alleging it was unlawfully based on race rather than partisanship. In a scathing 104-page dissent, Judge Jerry Smith accused majority judges Jeffrey Vincent Brown and David Guaderrama of "pernicious judicial misbehavior" by denying him adequate time to review and respond, calling it the most outrageous judicial conduct he had encountered in 37 years. Smith argued the redistricting was driven by partisan gain, not racial animus, dismantling the majority's claims as deceptive, misleading, and factually erroneous. Hans von Spakovsky calls in to discuss this decision. Later, six Democratic members of Congress urged the U.S. military and national security personnel to reject and defy ‘illegal orders' from President Trump as commander-in-chief, which is an attempt to undermine the government, and overthrow the elected president. Trump has not issued unconstitutional or illegal orders and complies with court rulings. Their actions are disgusting and frightening. Also, Stephen A Smith calls in and addresses Michelle Obama saying men aren't ready to have a woman president. He also criticizes Democrats for the 43-day government shutdown over Obamacare subsidies, highlighting unfulfilled promises on costs and doctor retention. Afterward, Sean Hannity calls in to discuss law and order on the streets of America. Finally, Gabe Kaminsky calls in and exposes Nick Fuentes' nonprofit (tax exempt) America First Foundation group which is revamping for the 2026 midterm elections to "infiltrate politics" by evaluating candidates, guiding voter decisions, and mapping the "patronage networks" of the "Israel First lobby." On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock is joined by Seth Joyner to discuss the possibility that Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow could all miss the NFL playoffs. They also analyze the AFC's nightmare scenarios, with Drake Maye, Aaron Rodgers, Daniel Jones, and Bo Nix feasibly heading to the division playoffs and Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, Davis Mills, and/or C.J. Stroud making the wild card. Whitlock and Joyner also cover A.J. Brown dodging a question about the dynamic between him and Jalen Hurts and hitting back at criticism against him by saying Saquon Barkley may not be performing to his potential either. They also talk about Shedeur Sanders becoming the NFL's new Colin Kaepernick and the league's biggest star. Whitlock notes Stephen A. Smith's hypocrisy in calling Drake Maye a liar for saying he isn't aware of Smith's show and Ryan Clark correcting Smith and defending Maye. Whitlock offers his Fearless Five football picks of the week and discusses the WNBA players' rejection of a new, much more lucrative salary plan. Coach J.B. joins the show to add his insights into the Josh Allen and AFC nightmare playoff scenario; what to expect from Shedeur Sanders starting this Sunday; whether the Houston Texans should stick with Davis Mills at the quarterback position; and Cam Newton saying the Patriots and Drake Maye are “fool's gold.” Another can't-miss show! On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock analyzes Shedeur Sanders' recent press conference, which showed him to be an overgrown child. During the event, Sanders kept smiling and giggling and did not behave like a mature man. Whitlock explains why Sanders' father, Coach Deion “Prime” Sanders, is to blame for Shedeur's arrested development, not Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski. Whitlock addresses the fact that Stefanski is demonized by many in the sports media world for allegedly hating Shedeur, yet Stefanski meets with the quarterback every morning to go over film. Guest Steve Kim joins the show to offer insight into the Shedeur situation and to discuss Joe Burrow returning to full practice for the Bengals and reports that he will start this week when Cincinnati faces the New England Patriots. Whitlock and Kim also talk about Stephen A. Smith deriding Oxford, Mississippi, as a place “the brothers” don't want to play football and why Smith thinks Lane Kiffin would be better off recruiting for a different school than Ole Miss. Jay Skapinac joins the show to break down Brandon Williams' buzzer-beating layup being overturned as an offensive foul and whether the New York Knicks' 113-111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks was fair. Whitlock and Skap also debate whether the Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokić is experiencing the NBA's second-highest peak of all time. Whitlock ends the show with powerful commentary on the elementary-school children who beat up a pregnant mother and her son in Chicago. High-powered show today — don't miss it! On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock is joined by Paul Burkhardt and Jay Skapinac to analyze why LeBron James could excel as Luka Dončić's side piece and why the consensus is growing that LeBron is no longer the king of the Lakers. The panel then examines two Duke grads who are now rookies in the NBA — Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel — and compares them. Whitlock argues that Flagg is uninteresting and Knueppel could be the league's best rookie. He also declares that he's buying the Detroit Pistons, as the team is 13-2 so far on the season. Whitlock then unpacks the details surrounding Patrick Beverley being charged with felony assault after being accused of punching his 15-year-old sister and squeezing her neck, as well as sports media's reaction to the news. Shaun King joins the show to discuss all things Sanders: Deion claiming he's “the right man” for the University of Colorado coaching job; Deion saying he knew Shedeur was going to play for the Cleveland Browns and that his son is “built for adversity”; and Stephen A. Smith implying that Browns coach Kevin Stefanski didn't properly prepare Shedeur. They also discuss Tulane coach Jon Sumrall saying his team is “average” and that the players sometimes embarrass themselves. High-caliber show today — don't miss it!
