Ah, snap, here we go again. It's another 30 minutes of nothing but the best Dirty Mo Media has to offer. It's Dirty Thirty time, y'all! First up, Dale Jr. wants everyone to know about Shan van Gisbergen's unique footwork that sets him apart (by a few seconds...) from the rest of the field. Then we hear from SVG himself on whether he feels it's truly an advantage or not. Over in the land of spotters, the Door Bumper Clear crew welcomed Hall of Famer Kurt Busch to the table, where he told us about his championship run in 2004, his imaginary friends, and the cougar that rode with him at Talladega. Dale Jr. interviewed basketball's newest phenom and Charlotte Hornets rookie, Kon Knueppel! He discusses the moment he got called up and the Rookie of the Year battle with Cooper Flagg. Last but not least, we have an epic Bless Your 'Hardt moment. Dale & Amy play a rousing round of "This or That," where the conversation about hard vs. soft taco shells divides the room between dirty minds and innocent foodies. Another week down, another 30 minutes come and gone — feels faster every week! Dale Earnhardt Jr. sits down with one of the most promising rising stars in the NBA, Charlotte Hornets small forward Kon Knueppel. Kon lit the professional basketball scene on fire this year as he became the first rookie in NBA history to lead the league in three-point shooting, shattering several records along the way. After growing up in a basketball family in the Milwaukee area, Kon was recruited by Duke, where he helped lead the team to Atlantic Coast dominance. He would declare for the NBA draft and would be picked fourth overall by the Hornets, helping to turn their performance around for the 2025/26 season. Kon would ultimately lose a highly contested Rookie of the Year battle with fellow Blue Devil Cooper Flagg by one of the narrowest margins in league history. Funnily enough, despite having two basketball legends for parents, Kon didn't show much interest in the sport until he got his hands on video game classics like NBA2K and NBA Jam. Kon became interested in the legends of the past and learned to love the game through its history. By high school, he was one of the most promising collegiate prospects in the country, and he fielded offers from many major Division One schools. Dale and Kon's conversation covers the Hornets successful comeback season, the changing culture of the team and his journey from a close-knit, basketball crazy family to being a perimeter shooting phenom. Going into this year's NBA Draft Lottery, the Hornets had long odds for not only the first overall pick, but to crack the top four of the draft as well. Those numbers held true, as Charlotte officially will pick at No. 14 in the first round of the draft in June. Rob Longo and Sam Farber discuss the Draft Lottery results as a whole, and also chat about the recently announced contract extension of Hornets head coach Charles Lee, as well as an injury update on Brandon Miller.

Kon discussed his background growing up in the Milwaukee area and Wisconsin as a basketball state, going to Duke, a new approach he took over the last year, and his thoughts on his impressive rookie season on the Hornets.Christian also discussed his background making it to the majors, his career on the Brewers, what he changed during his MVP season, his thoughts on the new MLB rules (pitch clock & ABS), Shohei Ohtani, getting thrown out of games, and much more.Let's go!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The NBA officially announced who won the Rookie of the Year race, and Kon Knueppel was the runner-up to Cooper Flagg of Dallas. In episode 235 of the Black Lincoln Collective Podcast, Parker, Fred, and Allan are back with another chaotic, fully unhinged ride through parenting disasters, home improvement regrets, sports disappointment, and deeply questionable life advice. The episode kicks off with the crew welcoming listeners from around the world and pointing them toward YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and all major podcast platforms. The main story starts with Parker taking on what he calls the “bunk bed challenge”: attempting to assemble a brand-new bunk bed for his kids in the hopes of finally getting a full night's sleep without being kicked by tiny feet. What was supposed to be a simple one-hour build quickly turns into a multi-hour battle against confusing instructions, nearly identical wooden parts, backwards rails, and one very poorly timed Charlotte Hornets game. Things only get worse when Parker realizes the beds were built in the living room and still need to be moved, followed immediately by the discovery that the kids' new bunk beds do not actually have mattresses. That leads to a trip to a discount mattress store tucked away in the back of a questionable warehouse, complete with strange sales tactics, twin mattresses, cash deals, and a mattress salesman who may or may not be living entirely on hot dogs and cheese. The crew then rolls into a new round of the BLC “What Would You Do?” Challenge, covering everyday moral dilemmas like thermostat wars, group chat snack moochers, giant decorative yard roosters, and accidentally getting credit for someone else's work spreadsheet. Naturally, most of the advice lands somewhere between “break up with them” and “make the situation much worse.” After the break, the guys return with some NFL Draft “analysis” before launching into Ask Allan Anything, a segment where listener questions get the kind of answers only Allan could give. Relationship confusion, outdoor furniture, vintage radios, and other listener problems are all handled with the usual BLC blend of confidence, nonsense, and absolutely no professional credentials. #blcpodcast #podcastingforthepeople #funny #podcast #greenvillesc #scpodcast #yeahthatgreenville Listen at: https://americasfavoritepodcast.com Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/blcpodcast/ Check us out on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/blcpodcast/ Buy Fred and Allan Beer: https://www.patreon.com/blcworld

In this episode of On The Ball with Ric Bucher, Ric takes aim at two issues he believes reveal everything wrong with today's NBA conversation. First, he breaks down the Charlotte Hornets' controversial overtime win over the Miami Heat and why LaMelo Ball's takedown of Bam Adebayo should have led to an ejection, not a postgame review. Ric explains why the NBA's obsession with protocol over fairness continues to fail players, teams and fans in the biggest moments. Then he turns to what he sees as an even more troubling trend: the growing effort to downgrade Kobe Bryant's greatness through lazy comparisons, out-of-context stats and revisionist hot takes. Ric dismantles the idea that Dwyane Wade was on Kobe's level, explains why numbers alone cannot define greatness, and revisits Kobe's unforgettable Game 7 performance against the Celtics to show why box scores can never capture will, command and championship impact. This is a sharp, unfiltered episode on NBA officiating, LaMelo Ball, Bam Adebayo, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, NBA media narratives, instant replay, playoff basketball, Lakers-Celtics history and why the modern obsession with stats is distorting how greatness is remembered.Time Stamps: 0:00 Intro 1:58 Hornets-Heat controversy and why LaMelo Ball should have been ejected 4:06 The NBA's fatal flaw: protocol over fairness 7:49 Why Ric says LaMelo's explanation made it worse 12:40 Why the league's review comes too late 13:21 Why the posthumous downgrading of Kobe Bryant has gone too far 14:27 Ric reacts to the Dwyane Wade vs. Kobe Bryant comparison 16:49 The stat that exposes the gap between Kobe and Wade 18:03 Why today's NBA discourse is being warped by box scores and clips 20:33 Kobe's Game 7 vs. Boston and the greatness stats can't measure 24:36 OutroHashtags: #OnTheBall #RicBucher #NBA #LaMeloBall #BamAdebayo #CharlotteHornets #MiamiHeat #KobeBryant #DwyaneWade #Lakers #Celtics #NBAPlayoffs #NBARules #InstantReplay #BasketballPodcastSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/bucher-and-friends. What does it actually take to make AI work inside a real business, where messy data, human judgment, and operational risk all collide? In this episode, I sit down with Matt Fitzpatrick, CEO of Invisible Technologies, to talk about why the biggest barrier to enterprise AI is not model quality, it is everything that comes before the model ever gets to work. Since stepping into the CEO role in January 2025, Matt has moved quickly, raising $100 million and expanding Invisible's footprint across major cities including New York, San Francisco, DC, Austin, London, and Poland. But this conversation is far less about headlines and far more about what happens in the trenches of AI adoption, where companies are trying to move from pilots and PowerPoint promises to systems that actually deliver results. A huge theme throughout our discussion is data readiness. Matt makes a compelling case that most businesses are still dealing with fragmented systems, inconsistent records, and information spread across disconnected tools. That reality makes it incredibly hard to deploy AI in a way that creates trust and value. We talk about SwissGear, where Invisible used its Neuron platform to clean and structure 750 scattered tables in just one week, a task that could have taken a large engineering team months or longer. We also discuss why that kind of work matters so much, because once the data foundation is fixed, companies can start making better decisions on forecasting, operations, and planning with a level of confidence that simply was not there before. We also spend time on Invisible's human-in-the-loop approach, which I think will resonate with a lot of listeners trying to cut through the noise around job displacement and agentic AI. Matt argues that the real opportunity is not replacing people, but giving them better tools to handle repetitive work while preserving room for human expertise, judgment, and oversight. He shares examples from commercial credit workflows, healthcare, and sports analytics, including a fascinating story about the Charlotte Hornets using AI to turn broadcast footage into detailed tracking data. What stood out to me was how practical his perspective felt. This was not theory. It was about building systems around how organizations actually work, rather than expecting businesses to reshape themselves around a generic AI product. Another part of the conversation that deserves attention is governance. As boards rush to understand agentic AI, Matt explains why trust, standards, and responsible deployment are now driving buying decisions just as much as raw capability. We talk about privacy in healthcare, the risks of scaling autonomous systems without mature governance, and why enterprise adoption still trails consumer AI by a wide margin. That gap between excitement and execution may be one of the most important stories in AI right now. If you are wondering why so many AI projects never make it into production, or what it will take for enterprise AI to finally deliver on its promise, this episode is packed with insight. It is a conversation about data, deployment, governance, and the role humans will continue to play as AI becomes part of everyday business operations. After listening, I would love to know where you stand, is the future of AI really about bigger models, or is it about making AI fit the messy reality of how work gets done?
