Browns organization and most media are once again asking the wrong question — it's not about the quarterback, it's about the head coach. Mike and Brook say the Browns' real problem is leadership, not talent. What is the point of drafting a top flight QB if the Head Coach is not a Leader? It's a classic chicken and egg. Bill Parcells developed Phil Simms and Tony Romo. Lombardi took the lowly 15th round QB Bart Starr and turned him into a HOF. Bill Walsh developed two great QB's. Don Shula and Bob Griese. Andy Reid and Mahones. Meanwhile, Coach Stefansky has failed to develop ANY QB's starting with Baker and ending with Deshaun. All got worse under his mentorship. People forget that Dehaun was an MVP QB. In the Top 5. How did he get so bad?? A Head Coach is supposed to be the Head of the Culture first, and not a play caller. The Head Coach.'coaches' his assistants. And finally a Head Coach needs to 'confront' and not hide within the organization. Who cares how 'smart' they are with schemes, if they don't know how to Lead and Teach. Both are qualities of great, legendary Head Coaches. So don't ask yourself who are the QB's in the draft, ask how we find and develop a HOF Head Coach.00:30 Mike opens the episode by reflecting on the Browns' long history of failed coaches, from Paul Brown's predictable final years to Blanton Collier's innovation and success.04:30 Brook and Mike break down another sloppy Browns loss, pointing out how penalties, play-calling, and poor preparation reveal a deeper coaching problem.07:00 Mike argues that Stefanski's biggest flaw is avoiding confrontation — from Baker Mayfield to OBJ and Deshaun Watson — and why the Browns' culture of “no accountability” is toxic.12:00 The duo discusses how to actually fix the franchise — comparing past greats like Lombardi and Parcells to Cleveland's timid leadership. Mike calls for Jim Schwartz or Brian Flores as real culture-change options.27:00 Mike and Brook close the episode emphasizing that it's not about quarterbacks or draft picks — it's about leadership. The show ends with fiery sideline soundbites from Bill Parcells and Jon Gruden to prove the point.
Leila Rahimi, Marshall Harris and Mark Grote detailed how Bears first-year head coach Ben Johnson has separated himself from other offensive-minded coaches around the NFL.

Andy Baskin and Tom Withers wonder what is going on with all these college football head coaches losing their jobs.
The Blue Jays rallied to take Game 4 of the World Series and tie things up, just a day after losing to the Dodgers in 18-innings. Were the Dodger feeling the effects of the 18-innings more? If anybody had an excuse to be a little less than perfect, it was Shohei, pitching after being on base 9 times the day before. It seemed like the Dodgers were built to take this series in 4 or 5 games, but now we will have a game 6 and head back to Toronto. With the current state of Mariners hangover/depression, are we able to look at this season and recognize that this team doesn't suck and hasn't sucked? These aren't the “same ol' Mariners.” :30- College football is once again a little out-of-control and this time, it's all about the coaches as firings and buyouts are costing a lot of money. Is this sustainable? We talked to Rick Neuheisel about it! :45- The Kraken managed an exciting come-from-behind point last night after falling into a 3-0 hole against the Canadiens. The 3rd period was all they needed to erase the deficit and send the game to OT. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

From there, he dives into the University of Florida's coaching shakeup, firing up about boosters, agents, and why the Gators deserve a visionary leader in the new “general manager” era of college football. As the show unfolds, JB connects the chaos in sports to Trump's broader role as the “Disruptor in Chief,” reshaping gambling, global finance, and culture itself. With his trademark humor, history lessons, and straight talk, JB ties it all together, proving that whether it's football, hurricanes, or the world economy, it's all part of the same game of power, timing, and discernment.

Ben Garrett (Ole Miss Spirit/On3) and Brandon Drumm (OU Insider/On3) get real on Lane Kiffin and coaching carousel rumors — a seemingly annual occurrence at Ole Miss. The Rebels are at Oklahoma on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT for a Top 15 matchup on ABC. However, at the same time, the Rebels, administratively, are ready to battle all comers when it comes to keeping Kiffin in Oxford. Ole Miss has proven a perfect fit for Kiffin and his family, while few, if any, programs have been more efficient and front-leading in the NIL space than the Rebels. As far as actual game matters, Ole Miss, against the Sooners, will be tested by the toughest defense it's faced so far. Ben and Brandon each give three reasons why Rebels and the Sooners come out with a win.
