Send us Fan MailI come back from the Philippines and shake off brutal jet lag before diving into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2026 results and the snubs that still make no sense. AP correspondent Charles de Ledesma reports Russia has fired dozens of drones at Ukraine, ignoring a unilateral ceasefire.
Legacy, Nobel Snubs, and the Fringes of Science Following the confirmation of the Big Bang theory, the cosmic microwave background was measured at approximately 2.73 degrees Kelvin, a discovery that George Gamow spent his final years advocating for as a validation of his 1940s work. Gamow, whose health declined due to heavy smoking and alcohol use before his death in 1968, frequently reminded the scientific community that his earlier calculations with Ralph Alpher had correctly predicted this radiation, using the metaphor that a lost and found penny is still the same penny. While the Big Bang gained universal acceptance, Fred Hoyle faced a professional crisis when the Nobel Prize for stellar nucleosynthesis was awarded solely to William Fowler, excluding Hoyle and his other collaborators, Margaretand Jeffrey Burbidge. This snub, which some speculate was due to a misunderstanding by nominator Hans Bethe or Hoyle's increasingly controversial reputation, led Hoyle to sever ties with Fowler and retreat to the Lake District. In his later years, Hoyle moved toward the fringes of science, championing the theory of "panspermia"—the idea that life and diseases such as AIDS and Legionnaire's disease originated in space and arrived on Earth via comets. He also drew the ire of the scientific establishment by arguing that Darwinian evolution was impossible due to the Earth's age, a stance that ironically gained him support from creationist groups despite his own atheism. Paul Halpern characterizes both Gamowand Hoyle as "seat of the pants" thinkers who relied on flashes of intuition rather than slow, methodical archival work, though Hoyle was notably more stubborn in defending his unconventional ideas. Ultimately, both men are remembered as brilliant storytellers who made the complex physics of the 20th century accessible to the public while fundamentally shaping our understanding of the universe. The New York GOP is in absolute shock—SHOCK—that Donald Trump didn't endorse their preferred candidate. And honestly… that might be the funniest part.Because this is the same political machine that gave us George Santos… and now they're acting like their judgment carries the weight of Harvard admissions or the Vatican selecting a pope. From Theodore Roosevelt… to George Santos… to possibly a raccoon in a MAGA visor. That's not evolution—that's a collapse. In today's Satire Saturday, Chad Law breaks down the absurdity, the lack of self-awareness, and the pure comedy of a party that somehow keeps getting worse—and still expects to be taken seriously.Sometimes the joke isn't even satire anymore… it's just reality.

Donald Trump Jr. was seen enjoying time with Marla Maples at his fiancée Bettina Anderson's bridal shower last weekend, raising questions about his relationship with stepmother Melania Trump, who was absent from the event. Ivanka Trump, Donald Jr.'s sister and a significant figure at the shower, joined the festivities alongside notable guests like Erika Kirk, widow of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, and event host Amy Phelan, who co-hosts with her daughter Mackenzie Moon Phelan, linked to Secretary of the Navy John Phelan. Questions arise about Melania's potential presence at Donald Jr. and Bettina's wedding, especially since there are rumors it could be held in President Trump's opulent ballroom at the White House, which a source claims could be ready by spring.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Pack Daddy breaks down five Pro Day workouts in one loaded Draft Room session, covering Texas A&M, Nebraska, TCU, Houston, and Mississippi State. With 32 NFL teams scouting these schools, the talent is deeper than the rankings suggest — and a few names are quietly forcing their way onto Day Three boards right now. Texas A&M leads the group with 13 draftable prospects, headlined by WR Casey Concepcion and a deep distribution of Day 2–3 value. Keep an eye on RB Levy'on Moss as a potential steal if his durability concerns fade — teams are already buying dinner. Nebraska's Emmett Johnson cemented himself as a legitimate fourth-round back with strong Pro Day times, while safety Deshaun Singleton's 39.5" vert and length profile are drawing serious Bengals, Saints, and Titans interest. TCU's linebacker duo of Nnamdi Obiaze and Caleb Bor stole the show in a rare night session, with Bor posting a 4:47/40 and 40-inch vert that had Colts, Broncos, and Cowboys LB coaches buzzing. Mississippi State's ZICO — international tight end Sidhu Triore — ran a 4:57/40 at 244 lbs after packing on 11 pounds since the Shrine Bowl. The Chargers had their tight ends coach courtside. That's not an accident. Don't sleep on this class — the value is everywhere if you know where to look. On today's episode of “Fearless,” Jason connects Patriots owner Robert Kraft's Hall of Fame snub to DEI's damage to merit. Kraft and his former coach Bill Belichick were both passed over for induction into the Hall. Their resumes as owner and coach, respectively, are as good as we've ever seen. But Hall voters apparently prioritized lesser candidates (L.C. Greenwood, Ken Anderson, and Roger Craig) out of fear that they would never make it into the Hall. Danny Kanell and Jay Skapinac also join the show.
