All prayers are prayers of faith, if they are genuine and effective prayers. There are however many things that appear like prayer but genuine faith is lacking therein. This series is about praying prayers that are effective and which accomplishes much, according to James. You will learn about those unbelieving prayers that must be avoided, about heartfelt prayer and persistence in prayer.

The Lord is good. In the midst of trouble, Pastor Bankie teaches that we take refuge in the Lord rather than panic or only fight outward forces. He anchors this in Psalm 2 and Psalm 46, explaining that refuge is shown by praying, meditating on His word, confessing His promises, giving thanks, and walking in righteousness.

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials. In trials, God calls believers to pray for wisdom and keep faith without doubting, because testing produces endurance and perseverance. Give glory to God, seek help from the One who planned the trouble, and stop trusting weapons or fortifying walls.

Now let me tell you something, never be afraid. In a season of troubles, Pastor Bankie teaches that challenges are opportunities to overcome by training in righteousness—returning to first love, persevering, and refusing to backslide—so God can send help, open doors, and reward the one who has an ear.

The opposite of the prayer of faith is a prayer of copy, where the mouth is saying one thing and the heart is saying another. The message calls us to pray sincerely, avoid “praying against” God's principles or insisting He solve things our way, and instead commit real concerns to Him—trusting Him to open doors and lead us in obedience.

Every form of Christian prayer must be a prayer of faith. Pastor Bankie teaches that faith is activated by the word of God, not by mere desire, and that prayer grows as we learn, obey, ask, and receive. He points to Daniel chapter 9 to show how prophetic words shape higher prayer points.

Prophecy is for warfare, not prediction. Pastor Bankie urges believers to read Habakkuk chapter 3 from 2 to 15 consistently and to turn prophetic words into prayer and bold speech. He warns against replacing God with political hopes, saying spiritual warfare and repentance—especially when trouble comes—are how judgment and victory are activated.

Ignorance is not an excuse forever. Pastor Bankie teaches that following Christ is an everyday choice, especially in distress: turn to the Lord, seek Him, and keep inclining your ears to His Word. He emphasizes that grace trains through correction and that real deliverance comes as we hear and obey the words God sends.

Keys of the kingdom. Exhortations

The prayer of faith is that which is provoked by the entrance of the word. Pastor Bankie urges believers to keep inclining ears to His word, pray not for show but in faith, and surrender their plans to God's better plan. He highlights higher prayer points and intercession for God's house, like Daniel.

The Lord is good. Pastor Bankie teaches that the prayer of faith is triggered by the entrance of the Word, not by copying others, impressing people, or challenging God. Faith is obedience to God's word—so when you hear prophetic words, stories, or songs, you are called to act, confess, and pray in line with God's will.

The prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. Pastor Bankie teaches that genuine prayer is more than prayer-like activity or show; it is speaking to God in accordance with His revealed will. Faith prayer shapes how we pray, and the longer we remain in the place of prayer, the more we are corrected.

Every promise of God must be activated. The teaching reminded us that God's promises don't come automatically; we must meet the requirements and allow His “yoke” of constraint to shape our character. As refuge in the Lord Jesus Christ, we confess we are blessed, and we prepare faithfully for where God is taking us—especially through obedience to His Word.

Whatever it is that God wants to achieve, there is a character requirement for the manifestation of it. Pastor Bankie calls believers to “magnify God” in every aspect of life, making room for God's glory. He urges us to reject bitterness and grumbling, and to stop justifying what needs correction, because God holds us responsible for refusing His remedy.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name, give glory. Pastor Bankie teaches that we should pray and seek God's direction before acting, so our motives are for God's glory, not personal gain. Like David, victory and resources must be dedicated to the Lord, and obedience must not be treated lightly.

It is very possible to be wrong in your sincerity. Pastor Bankie teaches that troubles can be met by praying to the Lord, asking, “Teach me what I do not see,” and humbly recognizing God may be correcting hidden iniquity. As God reveals and brings discipline, He is also faithful to give relief.

We must learn to call the name of the Lord all the time. The message stresses that the name of the Lord reflects His love, power, redemption, and dominion, so troubles must not become magnified. As faith is provoked, believers are urged to speak more about Him than about pain, rejecting affliction and trusting His will for total health.

“Light illuminates, things.” Pastorially, the message reminds us that light does not simply push darkness away—it exposes it so we can confess and change. Paul's call in “Ephesians chapter 4 verse 22” and “Ephesians chapter 4 verse 23” is to throw off the old self, because understanding shapes our hope and conduct.

Destinies are hindered if character is not adjusted to meet the destiny. The message teaches that faith must manifest outwardly, producing righteousness rather than dead belief. It warns against twisting doctrine and postponing repentance, reminding listeners that God shapes people through trials so their spiritual character can match the destiny He promised.

Old age is not a disease. Pastor Bankie teaches that believers must fight for faith and stop making excuses for weakness, sickness, or frailty. He points to Numbers chapter 21 verse 9, where healing came from an attentive, expectantly steady gaze, showing that health and healing belong to God alone.

Who can ascend the holy hill? He that has clean hands, a pure heart. Pastor Bankie teaches that the first purpose for faith is not mainly prosperity, but to make invisible realities practical through obedience and a morally pure life. He calls believers to stop lies, anger, stealing, foul speech, and bitterness so destiny can be manifested.

God is looking for a witness. The message teaches that real change cannot come through human effort or excuses, but through the help of God's Spirit and word. Drawing from Genesis chapter three and Psalms 51, it urges believers to stop shifting blame, acknowledge “against you only have I sinned,” and focus on their reaction to temptations.

Constant readiness. Constant readiness. As Easter weekend points to Christ Jesus' death and resurrection, Pastor Bankie urges believers to live prepared, not fixated on calculating days. He then teaches from Colossians chapter one and Genesis chapter nine that in Christ Jesus we are no longer slaves, delivered from ancestral curses and brought into freedom.

Waiting is not easy, but waiting, we must. Pastor Bankie teaches that God is most focused on changing us into the person we are meant to be, not only on answers to prayer. He says waiting tunes our ears to the right voice, and it is never idleness—stay joyful, keep studying the scriptures, and consecrate your ears to the Holy Spirit.

The most important thing about the filling of the Holy Spirit is after you leave there. Pastor Bankie teaches that Jesus calls people to be born again, with the Spirit replacing whatever controls them. He also warns not to judge spirituality by outward drama, because the Spirit's real evidence shows up in character, conduct, and everyday faithfulness.

Say, Lord, make me love the kingdom. Pastor Bankie teaches that prayer is meant to establish the will and the kingdom of God, not to “fix my life” like Gentiles. When we trust God's perfect plan, God's Spirit leads us, and our decisions begin to reflect kingdom values.

God punishes disobedience. Pastor Bankie teaches that Christians should meditate on the consequences of disobedience—“mount Mount Ebal”—so we will not reject the warnings by wish or declaration. He points to Psalm 66:18 about sin in the heart blocking prayer, and Hebrews 12:14 calling us to pursue peace with sanctification.

Value your peace of mind more than anything. Pastor Bankie teaches that believers should not chase profit or comfort first, but seek God's will and keep Christ Jesus as the only passport into the fulfillment of God's promise. He urges rejecting false doctrines and guarding peace through joy and thanksgiving, living as those being born again.

Seek first, paramount, the foremost thing in your heart. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; the message emphasizes that material worries will be added, not pursued first. It centers on correction as a healing, pruning of character, and becoming like Christ through prayer, humility, and openness to reproof.

Grace was not given to us to continue to live in sin. This message emphasizes practical Christianity: God's correction, repentance, and the transformation of our lives through faith that bears fruit. Destiny requires integrity, self-control, and a born-again life that changes how we spend, speak, and serve.

This year, my focus, at least beginning this year, in my teachings, is to produce for the Lord Christians indeed. Genuine faith shows in character— honesty, integrity, generosity— so Christians are trusted with money and responsibilities. The goal is a life that reflects Christ, not merely words.

There is a reason why we have been born. Pastor Bankie teaches that a seed of righteousness—the remnant on assignment—must recover the earth by seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness, enduring hardship, and using our gifts to influence society for God's will rather than pursuing comfort or wealth.

The Word is entering my heart. It is giving me light and direction. The message roots rest and transformation in the living Word of God, which comes as commands, promises, testimonies, and stories; obedience activates its rest and blessing in our lives; faithfulness in small things invites the Spirit to move.

Please learn to pray. This teaching emphasizes constant prayer, meditation on Scripture, and reducing distractions to keep faith alive. It urges meditating on Psalm 66 (especially 18), Psalm 23, and Psalm 121, and speaking God's truth to oneself to hear His guidance and strengthen faith amid blessings and trials.

The Lord is good. The central teaching is that God often calls us to a costly path—taking up Christ's yoke requires self-denial and trust, yet yields rest for the soul. In the face of anxiety and worldly pursuits, believers are urged to seek God's will, engage in the gospel, and rejoice in His faithfulness.

Truth makes a demand, and it's really painful. The teaching urges us to approve the things that are excellent, valuing doctrine and character over worldly success. It calls for courageous, humble obedience, reliance on grace, and a life of faithful service to the lowly, trusting God to provide.

If I regard wickedness in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. The message exposits that true victory over temptation comes through prayer, consistent self-examination, and living in obedience, understanding God's warnings in context, not as curses but as guidance toward righteousness and eternal life.

My help comes from the Lord. The message reminds us that the help to overcome temptation comes from the Lord, not our own strength. It calls us to dedicate our bodies as living sacrifices, pray for grace, and rely on God's protection, while learning from biblical examples and avoiding disobedience that invites the devil.

"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from doing evil." The message emphasizes that overcoming temptation flows through prayer and realignment with God's will, not through chasing enemies or secretive rituals. It warns against fatalistic deliverance myths, urging personal responsibility, humility, and reliance on Christ and Scripture to resist sin.

Your values determine your destiny, but your values are yours to choose. The teaching calls us to deliberate humility, integrity, and eternal priorities, rather than chasing external wealth or status. Scripture guides us to value the hidden heart and righteous living as the mark of faith in Christ, the Israel of God.

We are looking at the fullness of faith. The teaching calls us to endure in affliction, pursue righteousness that settles in the heart, and let laboring love shape our choices. It invites us to listen to God more than speak to Him, and to become friends of God through faithful, servant-hearted living.

There is no one holy like the Lord. This morning's message invites a righteousness that surpasses outward rules, evidenced by love for enemies and honest, practical living. It calls us to focus, redeem the time, steward money wisely, and beware quick riches, letting faith work itself out in deeds.

"My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work." This principle anchors a teaching that prayer must align with God's will, not our own, inviting surrender, calm faith, and reliance on grace as we seek the will of God in every area of life.

"Your will be done on earth as it is written in heaven." The message teaches that God's kingdom comes when His will is finally done in us, interior mountains conquered, and our desires surrendered to His will. It urges prayer, study, and obedience over wealth or worldly ambition, aligning every choice with heaven's recorded will.

The kingdom of God must come into your life. The message urges inner purification and holiness, purging defilement of flesh and spirit, and letting faith produce action. Through prayer and meditation on Scripture (Psalm number 51; Romans chapter six), we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting God to bless as we grow in Christlikeness.

The Spirit of the Lord divided into, have you heard the expression before, the seven spirits of God? The message outlines seven spirits needed for fruitfulness and prosperity: righteousness, wisdom, discernment, excellence, faithfulness and love, self-control, and power, grounded in 2 Timothy 1 and related scriptures.

Deliver us from evil. The message clarifies that true deliverance lies in not yielding to temptation, asking for mercy, and seeking a clean heart through Psalm 51 and the prayer Jesus taught in Matthew 6:9-13.

When light comes, it reveals what you thought was normal. The central teaching: faith is only full when it produces tangible change; character matters; light exposes sin and calls for repentance. God uses life to mold us; don't chase shortcuts; continue in His kindness, confess, and live out the fullness of faith.
