She had an health ailment earlier this year that was serious enough for her to stop recording episodes of Detective Conan in February. The long-time voice of Ran and her experience in the voice acting industry was a huge loss, and from her Conan castmates and staff to other talents across different industries, her impact was notable and will be sorely missed. Akemi Okamura, who voiced the character since March 14 while Yamazaki was undergoing medical treatment, will now take over the role of Ran moving forward. Licenses 29:54: Yen Press apparently had to have announcements pre-convention and at a convention! The church is prone to believe God's mighty acts happened historically but forget that they have any power for us today. Some people – especially night owls – can find the adjustment period lasts for weeks. Ireland South Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly is one of those who wants to see the biannual clock changes ended. Sean, who has previously spoken about this issue on Morning Focus, has described the seasonal shift as an 'outdated practice' which has no justification in the modern world. Recently, we've started giving some classes on the हठप्रदीपिकां haṭha-pradīpikāṁ, the central text on the post-classical tradition in the Nāth sampradāya as part of our weekly Wednesday postural yoga class on zoom. The other day, I was looking at some of the letters Swami Premeshanandaji sent to Swami Svahanandaji in the book "Go Forward" and I was struck by this elegant and beautiful idea that the former was expressing to the latter: Swami Vivekananda is subtly reinterpreting Hatha Yoga in his conception of Karma Yoga, engaging relentless with the world in a spirit of self-sacrificing, enthusiastic and unattached service (i.e pūjā) to God embodied as beings, sentient and insentient.So before we started doing some postures, I thought I'd just reflect upon this for a little bit. As we look ahead into the new year of 2026, it can be with a measure of fear. The children of Israel, no doubt, faced the same as before them loomed the impossibility of the Red Sea. And yet, they passed through "as by dry land." It was nothing to them, because God opened the way, by faith. And so it is with us. The command is the same, "Speak unto the children of Israel that they GO FORWARD." This meditation reads some excerpts from Jonathan Edwards who laid down the blueprint for the burden he carried in his day, as we do in our day. May God give us the faith to go forward in prayer, and not be discouraged.

Right before jury selection — right before the moment everything becomes real — Brian Walshe walked into court and detonated a grenade in his own case. He pled guilty to two critically important charges: misleading investigators and disposing of Ana Walshe's remains. But he refused to plead guilty to murder. It's a strange split. A risky split. And a split that reshapes the entire murder trial. In this episode of Hidden Killers, Tony Brueski and Stacy Cole sit down with former prosecutor and defense attorney Eric Faddis to break down exactly what this means — legally, strategically, and psychologically — as the trial begins. Tony and Eric dissect the questions the public is asking: • Why would a defendant admit to moving a body but deny killing the person?  • Is this a sign of desperation? A strategy? He pled guilty to two critically important charges: misleading investigators and disposing of Ana Walshe's remains. But he refused to plead guilty to murder. It's a strange split. A risky split. And a split that reshapes the entire murder trial. In this episode of Hidden Killers, Tony Brueski and Stacy Cole sit down with former prosecutor and defense attorney Eric Faddis to break down exactly what this means — legally, strategically, and psychologically — as the trial begins. I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Monday morning, the 29th of September, 2025, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Book of Exodus 14:15: “And the Lord said to Moses,'”Why do you cry to me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.” There's no reverse gear in the kingdom of God, we are only going forward. There is no future in the past, we are not about to go backwards. Jesus Christ is coming back soon and we need to be going forward when He comes back. No more talking about it. No more double-guessing. Maybe I'm talking to someone today who is between a rock and a hard place. Oh, my dear friend, I know the feeling so well, by the way, so did Moses. Moses was looking at an ocean, the Red Sea before him, and behind him was the most powerful army in the world coming down upon him, and they were very bitter and angry. They had lost the oldest boy in each one of their families. They wanted revenge. What could they do? The people cried out to Moses, ”Why have you brought us here? It would have been easier if we'd remained in Egypt as slaves.” Maybe you're saying that today, ”I shouldn't have done this. I've got myself into a position now. If I'd just stayed the way I was before, I would have been alright.” That's not the truth and you know it, we've got to go forward!Now we've got to do it by two things: Number one, by faith, and number two, by obedience. You see, by faith Moses stretched out his arm with his staff, and the ocean parted, and they walked through it. What you need to do is hear clearly what it is God told you to do at the beginning, and then follow through. Go forward, and then do it by faith and obedience, and the Lord will do the rest.Hebrews 11:1: ”Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.” That is what we've got to do. We can't please God without faith, folks. He doesn't want our good works. He wants us simply to obey Him. Verse 6 says: ”But without faith it, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”That's why the Lord loved Peter so much. There were twelve disciples in the boat. Jesus came walking on the water and Peter said, ”Lord, call me and I'll come.” The Lord said, “Come!” He stepped out of the boat and he walked on top of the lake of Galilee. Folks, there's no man in the world that has ever walked on water. Peter did, through faith and obedience. Yes, he started sinking but the Lord was there to pick him out.Today, look to the Lord and go forward. Jesus bless you and goodbye.
