Scripture is filled with instances where Jesus told us to be "childlike" in our faith. He often juxtaposed this joy-filled, eager and willing childlike spirit with the immaturity and childish ways of the disciples and others. Join us this series as we look at several children in Scripture who give us a glimpse of what Jesus meant when he said the Kingdom belongs to "such as these".

Joy in Suffering - Sweet Spot by Aaron Holley
Despite being beaten within an inch of his life, imprisoned, mocked and shipwrecked on multiple occasions, Paul seemed to have an unflappable joy even in the midst of his circumstances. How is that possible? Perhaps it's because he found his "sweet spot" where God's promise and His Kingdom purpose intersected? Join us tonight as we dive deeper into the reason for Paul's joy.

If you're like me, perhaps over the course of your life there have been times when you said, "I want more". Maybe it's more money, more happiness or more excitement. Perhaps you've even said from time to time, "I want more of God". Have you ever stopped to wonder if God ever says the same thing about us? Does he expect more? Does he desire more? Does he hope for more? Perhaps it is time we think about how we can give God more of us.

In the wake of Jesus' ascension, the 12 disciples/apostles found themselves in over their heads. New believers were joining the movement every day and the work of the Kingdom was growing exponentially. In their wisdom, they knew it wasn't possible to do all of the work themselves, so they chose to delegate the day to day work of ministry to those who were deeply rooted in their faith and full of the wisdom of the Spirit. Join us as we look at how that should affect the way we do ministry today!
If you've grown up in church for any length of time, you've probably heard prayer defined as a conversation with God. While that's true, the reality is that it is so much more. Prayer is an invitation to an encounter with God that leaves you and others around you forever changed. It's a discipline that requires consistency and humility. And, it requires us to take the focus off of ourselves and turn our faces towards God. Join us this series as we unpack the model prayer, commit to praying for one another and learn how to pray into God's will for His Kingdom.

The early church struggled with the tension between Paul's message that we are saved by grace apart from our works and James' message that a faith without works is dead. That tension has carried on throughout the modern history of the church. What responsibility do we have for our faith walk in response to God's gift of grace that we can do nothing to earn? Join us this series as we unpack what Scripture says about holy living and our responsibility to cultivate the seeds of grace and salvation that God has planted into our lives into healthy fruit that displays the character of Christ.

There's something powerful about a well-crafted story isn't there? Great stories inspire us, challenge us, educate and inform us and even convict us at times. Jesus knew that sometimes the best way to convey deep spiritual truth was through the power of story. Nearly 1/3 of what we have recorded in the Gospels about Jesus' ministry are his parables. Join us this series as we unpack a few of them and see the powerful lessons they have to teach us.

What happens when our love for God compels us to a deeper love for others? We get the true meaning of charity! Join us tonight, on this Valentine's Day, as we look at the importance of our love having both vertical and horizontal expressions.
Have you ever felt like it was a constant struggle to live into the abundant life that Christ has called us to? I mean, it's one thing to accept the grace of Jesus and experience new life. It's another thing entirely to leave our past behind and walk in freedom from the grave clothes of our past. Join us this week as we look at the full story of why Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead and discuss the importance of taking off the grave clothes.
There's a big difference between following Jesus and being a true disciple. Peter, James and John found this out while on a mountain with Jesus and they nearly missed out on the glory of God because they weren't fully awake to what was happening around them. Join us this week as we talk about the danger of going through the motions, but missing out on the glory of God that he wants to reveal to us.
If I were to ask you what person had the biggest impact on the formation of the New Testament who would you choose and why? What if the answer to that question isn't so obvious? Join us this week as we look at an unsung hero of the 1st century church, without whom, much of the Scripture we now know might never have been written!
When the storms of life come, and they will, it's incredibly important to know that faith isn't the absence of fear or anxiety in the face of danger, but rather it is our ability to remember that Jesus is in the boat with us!
Join us tonight as we take a look at Paul's letter to the Ephesians and see how it might just be exactly what he would write to the United States in the midst of all the turmoil we currently find ourselves in as a nation.
When God tells Moses that he is the "I AM" in Exodus 3, it is a pivotal moment in redemptive history. God's name discloses who He is and what He is like. The Gospel of John records 7 specific "I AM" statement of Jesus in which Jesus not only describes himself but also declares himself to be God! What if, however, the events of the birth of Jesus point to these I AM statements of Jesus long before he ever spoke a word? Join us this Advent series as we look at how the birth of Jesus clue us in to who He really is!

Have you ever noticed that some of the greatest lessons Jesus ever taught were around a meal. The Gospels mention food and eating more than 100 times and the book of Luke outlines at least 10 times where Jesus took advantage of teachable moments while eating with friends and foes to pour out his wisdom, correction and direction. Join us this series as we look at some of these lessons and ask ourselves what God is trying to teach us.
