In Get Well Soon: Week One, Pastor Aaron McRae unpacks what it truly means to experience lasting transformation through Jesus. While the world often offers band-aid solutions to deep pain, Jesus goes straight to the heart—because real change starts within.Through Mark 7 and other key scriptures, Pastor Aaron contrasts outward traditions with the inward renewal Jesus brings. He challenges us to stop focusing on appearances or quick fixes and instead allow Jesus to purify our hearts, where sin and brokenness originate. This message is for anyone longing for wholeness, healing, and hope that only Christ can give.Key ScripturesMark 7:1–23 – Jesus teaches that defilement comes from the heartMatthew 23 – Cleaning the inside firstActs 10 & 15 – God purifies hearts by faithRomans 1:21; 3:23–24; 6:23; 10:9–10 – The heart of the gospelPsalm 51:10 – “Create in me a pure heart”James 4:8 – Purify your heartsMark 12:30 – Love God with all your heartKey Resources & Quotes-The Relational Soul by Cofield & Plass — “Change is possible, but it is harder than we want and takes longer than we expect.”-M. Trace Church celebrated 9 years in Colorado Springs with an unforgettable Fall Kickoff service. Pastor Aaron preached a powerful message out of Luke 15, reminding us that the grace of God is always greater than our sin.In the story of the prodigal son, we see a young man run as far as he could from his father. He wasted everything, gave himself over to sin, and carried deep shame. Yet when he turned back home, the father ran to him, embraced him, and restored him as a son. This picture is a glimpse into the heart of God for us.Many of us carry strongholds, shame, and mistakes that feel too heavy to let go of. We believe the lie that we have gone too far or done too much for God to forgive. But this message reminds us of the truth: you cannot out-sin the grace of God. His mercy is new every morning, His arms are always open, and His love pursues us no matter how far we wander.Through Scripture in Luke 15, Romans 8, Ephesians 5, and James 5, we are challenged to step out of the shadows, break free from lies, and walk in the freedom that only Jesus provides. The call is clear: return to God, confess, repent, and receive the grace that has already been purchased for you at the cross. This was more than just an anniversary service. It was a moment of celebration, surrender, and breakthrough. God is moving at Trace Church, and He is calling each of us to turn around and come home.

In this episode of Beyond the Letter, Adam Mesa and the team dive into the importance of authenticity and vulnerability in our spiritual walk. They explore how speaking life into others and affirming their God-given gifts not only strengthens relationships but also builds up the Church as a whole.Drawing inspiration from biblical examples like Daniel and Joseph—who modeled servant leadership long before they held influence—the conversation highlights the power of humility, consistency, and excellence in representing Christ. The group also challenges us to reflect on how our words, both in person and online, reflect our faith. Are we using our voices to encourage, uplift, and bring light into dark spaces? This episode is a call to embrace vulnerability, affirm the gifts in others, and lead with integrity—allowing God to use us as living examples of His love in every area of life.--Connect with:Pastor Adam Mesa https://www.instagram.com/amesa/Pastor Aaron https://www.instagram.com/_aaronlevy/Pastor Haron https://www.instagram.com/kaisaclan/--Don't forget to stay connected with us:Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4OvpFp9OB9_DgVdVVbXhFgInstagram https://www.instagram.com/beyond.theletter/Tik Tok https://www.tiktok.com/discover/beyond-the-letter--Get Aaron Levy's book, JOHN: 21 Daily Drips of Dialogue: https://a.co/d/7lGB90i--Have a question? This sermon explores the idea that power gives us the choice to show kindness or cruelty, and that true kindness is a consistent habit rather than just a personality trait. Drawing from Scripture, it emphasizes that kindness is essential for effective kingdom work, distinguishing believers and expanding God's love through practical, intentional actions. Ultimately, it calls us to reflect God's enduring kindness in our lives, urging us to be remembered not just for what we do, but how kindly we do it.
