God never works outside of His word Psalm 115:16 “The highest heavens belong to the Lord but the earth he has given to mankind (sons, children of Adam)” and Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule (have dominion) over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” In order to have authority, Jesus had to come as a human! (Son of Adam) God never undermines his own authority! God never controls or manipulates! Hallelujah! All Authority is delegated. From a study of ‘exousia', there is: Personal Authority (private, self) Positional Authority (public, seated with Christ, sphere of influence) Principal Authority (power demonstrated, supreme, government of Christ, the Church!) Three stages of authority: Fill - Subdue - Rule. God's Word (destiny) - Human Response (action) - Our Authority (heaven and earth) Vision - Function - Mission Know your authority in the Lord. He is not afraid to confront you because he wants to correct and bring change. Don't let your failures stop fellowship. Grow in integrity, where inferiority is impossible. Fear will cause you to walk in lack of power. Fear will cause you to see the waves higher than faith. Overcome fear and inferiority to stand on the space and promises God has called for your life. God is bringing an end to the old nets you used to drag around; the old ways an old patterns. Let go of the old to the embrace the new. Like the wise virgins in the parable Jesus tells in Matthew 25, we are called to live our lives full of oil. When you're filled with oil; what seems impossible becomes possible! You stay in-time and in-step with God, alert to His voice and awake in the waiting. Being filled with oil is each and everyone's personal responsibility. The oil is produced in the pressing. Where are you in the process? What has the Lord produced in the pressing? We pray this message helps you to live a life full of the oil of the Holy Spirit.

Part 2 of "An Unchanging God in a Changing World". Understand the roots of paganism, idolatory, and nationalism and have your whole heart centred on Jesus Christ.

Don't discern by political spirit, but by Holy Spirit. The vertical, spiritual perspective. The political spirit is the leaven of Herod. The religious spirit is the leaven of the Pharisees. The church is suffering barrenness because of independence. Programmes can't produce what only God can do by his presence, power and purpose. Independence keeps us out of relationship and in isolation. When we build like this, we protect with religion what we have stored up as resources. What should be a storehouse has become a fortified silo. God wants us to be fruitful and produce!

Embrace the narrow way, enter deeper into intimacy with Jesus through all He has done for you, and live unburdened, unyoked and unhindered.

Our omnipresent God steps into our time and space to make his presence known! This is the manifest presence of God. At times, we can settle for his omnipresence when He wants to move in His manifest presence among us. The purpose of structure is unto the one who will fill it. The purpose of church, and our lives as believers, is to be a resting place for Jesus to fill, rule and reign from!

God is at the door of, He is looking for those who would welcome Him to dwell in the house! How to host the presence of Jesus, from Genesis 18. - ‘Presence' is a person: Jesus - Hosting Jesus is our personal responsibility - The context for hosting is our homes - God initiates and invites us to host Him - Hosting involves the whole family! Answer the call and welcome Jesus in your life.

Don't let Amazon be the loudest knock on your door! Learn to hear the voice of Jesus, he is at your door. To those who feel they are coming against the gates of hell… come to Jesus. Don't go through or to any other door than Jesus. Don't go to doors of emotion. Close the doors to substitutes. In John 10:1-11, the word 'pasture' is not ‘rest', but extravagant new growth! Jesus is the door to new growth.

God is moving in victory to default the defaults in your life. Don't allow any old way of thinking or structures of the past hinder you from stepping into the new God has prepared! Default settings lead us to act in a certain way, create a pattern of behaviour, encourage an automatic response. Defaults are reinforced by repetition and are easy to fall back on. God has a new positive default for your life: His Word, His Worship and Faith! Walk by faith, and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession. Hebrews 3:1 Thoughts are the powerful internal, invisible directors of external, visible behaviour and action. Thoughts create and decorate the dwelling place for your mind. What's it like where you live? Sometimes we try to bring order from the outside in, but God wants to work in your lives from the inside out. How do you fix your thoughts? Fix is both corrective and connective. Some thoughts need to change, and some thoughts need to be connected to a new hope and reality. Apply the Jesus Filter to your thoughts! He is your Apostle and High Priest. Apostle - representing God to us, High Priest - representing us to God. Filter yours thoughts through these 2 truths: What do I think about God? What does God think about me? Psalm 139:17-18 “How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand” Have you ever been to a beach? Sand gets everywhere! It's time to have God's thoughts about us permeate our lives. In every place, finding them when you least expect it. Why do we ruminate on one bad thought all day long! So goodbye to fixations and fix your thoughts on Jesus.

Psalm 20:6-8 "Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright." Stand firm through trials. No more drama llamas. Whatever you're facing, your excuse is not good enough. God has done it all! You can rise and stand. Stand firm in the authority God has placed upon you. He has created a safe zone around you. Don't allow the enemy into your zone. Stand firm by remembering and telling your testimony. To stand firm, we need to pay attention lest we drift. There can be spiritual drift, emotional drift, financial drift, relational drift or mental drift. Rise and stand in resurrection power!

From the life of Samson in Judges 13, there is a sacrifice which can stop - detain - the Lord! God longs to abide with us, to linger and stop with his children. Obed Edom stopped the presence of God by… volunteering! God was detained with and by Obed Edom and this was a blessing. Samson was a Nazarite by birth, before making the vow! Set apart to God by birth, before our own efforts or legalism, our own religion. John 1:13 the right to become children of God. God planted a seed in Samson that would liberate a whole nation. God is the seed and God is the will. He wills it, He wills us. Love in a new freedom of your Father God through this message.

We have been called to stand in the gap, but sometimes we are stuck in the gap instead. Be free from temptation and break cycles in your life. Understand the way the enemy works: he desires to work through you, make entry points and to gain your territory. Recognise the counterfeits of the enemy so you can stand in freedom: 1. Coveting in place of desire 2. Self image instead of God's image 3. Fear of man instead of the fear of God 4. Concealing instead of covering 5. Selfish Ambition instead of Godly Destiny 6. Control instead of Authority 7. Lust instead of love 1 Peter 5:6-9 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings." Resist the devil and stand in the gap!

For those stuck in the gap, struggling to match up, fighting with the discrepancies. God extends a scarlet cord of grace and redemption to you. Take it, and discover that your triumph is really hiding as a trial. Your breakthrough is waiting behind brokenness. Take it, and discover you are broken no more. Redemption is here. For those caught in the middle, God sees you! He does not see the way the world sees. He looks with the eyes of redemption. He knows just what questions to ask to help you to see the way he sees. Get unstuck and see what He sees. Teaching from Genesis 16:13

1. Set your focus on Jesus Give him your undivided attention (Isaiah 26) What has stolen your focus, fought for your time; come to Jesus. 2. Be found in Jesus His kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4) What have you written in the sand about your life? Come to Jesus, he blends down and re-writes your story, giving you a command to GO and be CHANGED. (John 8) 3. Be filled with His presence May you know the favour of His face (Exodus 33:13) Position yourself, look at the routine of your day, your devotion and listen to the voice of the Spirit. Experience freedom as every empty place is filled with the presence of Jesus.

Persistence will push us forward. Persistence sees the long term vision. Persistence needs clarity of vision. Persistence has a purpose. Reject the seductive calls of distraction and press in with persistence.

When the land is dry - you carry a well! When there's a fire to put out - you carry a well! When you are thirsty - you carry a well! When there are seeds that need watering to grow - you carry a well! When you are weary - you carry a well! When your family needs you - you carry a well! When the situation needs refreshing - you carry a well! For the sake of the generations to come - you carry a well!
