Hello and welcome or welcome back to Savvy Says! We are back with season 3 episode 2 of Savvy Says. We are continuing with our theme “Curveball” which means that by the end of this season when life throws you a curveball, you'll know how to hit a home run. Do you ever have a moment where you really wanted to do something, but deep down you get the feeling that it really is not good for you and that you should not do it? In life, there are many moments like this one, where we have to sacrifice something that we want to do in order to do something else, that more often ends up being better than what we wanted. Today's episode is about submission, and I want to talk about what that is, how to use discernment, and how obedience ultimately leads to success. Grab a notepad and pencil or just listen along!Emails:savvysayspodcast@gmail.comthesavvysegment@gmail.comInstagrams:https://www.instagram.com/savvysayspodcast/https://www.instagram.com/itssavannahceleste/https://www.instagram.com/thesavvysegment/Website:https://www.thesavvysegment.com

As always take a moment to exhale and clear your mind. Someone that’s listening to this may be feeling broken, feeling alone or feeling scared, but I’m here to tell you that everything will be okay. My favorite verse Romans 8:18 says “The pain you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming.” With that being said, joy is coming, and it’s coming soon, so lift your head up and stay in the game.Good morning, good afternoon, or good night Savvy Says Listeners! So, thank you to God, thank you to my listeners, just thank you in general everyone who has supported me and inspired me, you guys rock. Now onto today’s episode. This morning my dad gave me this amazing scripture and I decided to dedicate an episode to the topic of this scripture. 2 Corinthians 4:9 says “persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” In honor of that verse, today’s episode is about not giving up, and how to get back up after we feel like we’ve been knocked down. We have to come to another episode! Today, I want to talk to you guys about unity. In today’s society it is more common for us to point out how we are different from one another than how we are similar. It is so easy for us to see difference in skin color, political opinions, and interests that we often forget that we are all human, and there is no difference that should overpower that commonality. In today’s episode, we will talk about the difference between oneness and sameness, and how to promote togetherness. If I’m being honest up until about a week ago, I was dragging into the new year. I wasn’t excited about operating within my purpose, trying new things, or meeting people, I was just existing. Then close to a week ago I had a revelation. I started spending time by myself doing things like reading, playing the piano, and being consistent in my time with God and it has helped build my strength back up. There is so much going on in the world with political scandals, covid-19, and so many other things that it has been hard to find peace, but I realized that I was looking for peace in all the wrong places. The problem was that I wanted to people to give me what only God can. Only Jesus brings peace. If we put our faith in people who change like the wind, we will never truly be happy, but when we put our faith in God who is all-knowing, never-changing, and ever-lasting we will always feel a state of peace. That is why no matter what is going on the world, I know that I will have peace, because my peace does not come from the world, it comes from God. Inspired by these feelings, today’s episode is titled Savvy Says Love Life, and I want to talk to you about things that will help you truly love life, let’s get started. Welcome or welcome back to Savvy Says! I know it has been a while since I’ve posted an episode but last week I had 4 midterms, had to film myself playing piano for a holiday concert, and I was exhausted physically and mentally. I almost still posted an episode last week but I decided that that would be too much for me to try to do on top of everything else. Then I was reminded that I have to take care of myself before I can take care of anyone else. It got me thinking that especially during this time, there are other people that need to hear this message. Today’s episode is titled Mental Madness, and I want to talk to you guys about mental health. Today we will talk about what it is, how to maintain good mental health, and how to help those around you. Before we get into that I do have a big announcement! I said at the start of this season that I would do giveaways, and I am doing my very first one now! I recently created Savvy Says inspired merchandise which you can find on my Instagram, and I will be giving them away to 3 blessed winners! The giveaway starts today and ends on Christmas! Go to @savvysayspodcast for the official rules and to see what you’ll have a chance to win!
