Here he is, the Godfather of BFOP Nick Fletcher. Nick has been out playing in the mud all day with the Dirt Bike workshops and it sounds like they were amazing! What's not to like about mud, dirt bikes, photography and a dude called Magoo???? Nick gives us an insight as to what it's been like putting this event together and both he and Matt need to be thanked for putting this weekend together because it just keeps getting better and better every year!

Adrian Whear - Episode 29 @adtamo - Instagram https://www.aaspi.com.au/adrian-whear Adrian is a fantastically talented street and travel photographer making a name for himself! Has has an amazing outlook and thorugh process behind how he does what he does and why he does it. I really enjoyed talking to him and hearing how he goes about his craft. Adrian is a cyclist who suffered a very bad injury on the bike which kind of pushed him towards photography. He has been to some amazing places in his travels around the world and he has this amazing ability to tell a story in his imagery. She photographs horses and their owners and boy does she do an amazing job of it! Louise has a real knack for capturing the connection and the emotion in the relationship between a horse and its owner. Louise is part of the AIPP and was awarded the 2018 VIC AIPP Animal Photographer of the year.
Episode 27 - Karl Ludik Photography runs in Karls Blood, His passion for photography was passed down from his grandmother and his father which Karl has carried into working for Olympus. Karl is the Professional Photography Manager for Olympus. We had a really interesting chat about the history of Olympus, innovation and obviously some of their cameras and also about Karls passion, how he got into photography and what he loves to shoot. I have not been paid in any way from Olympus, Karl is just a great guy and a great photographer I wanted to have a chat with. On this episode I catch up with the master of light painting Denis Smith. I met Denis at the Bright Festival of Photography, where he was one of the many professionals who gave up their weekend to come along and show us amateurs how to create better images. We obviously speak about the annual Bright Festival of Photography and light painting. But we also get pretty deep and we discuss mental illness. I can't thank Denis enough for being so open and honest about the battles he has had with his mental health and how photography helped pull him through the darkest times. While it is still and ongoing battle, Denis is in a much better place now. If you are having any problems with your mental health, please talk to someone, if not a loved one, talk to you GP and they can refer you to a professional who can help. On this episode I speak with Philip Chong & Alexander Chung, two Melbourne based photographers who met a couple of years ago through mutual friends. The guys have just recently started doing photowalks through Melbourne every Sunday which is open and free for anyone that wants to come along, no matter if you shoot with anything from a phone to a DSLR. Its a fantastic way to learn from a couple of great photographers but also a great way to meet like minded people. Philip and Alexander are also putting together some post editing workshops, Philip is a master of Lightroom and Alexander has been a Photoshop Guru for a long time! We also talked about how they met, how they came up with the idea and why they are more than happy to organize the photo walks and share their knowledge without charging people for it which was really refreshing. On this episode I catch up with Rose Andrew. Rose is a drone photography master! I learnt so much on this podcast as I have zero experience with drones. There's so much involved so if you are looking into drones I think you will get a lot out of this podcast. Chris is a portrait photographer that has an uncanny knack for connecting with his subjects and capturing real emotion and real stories in his imagery.
