Kids Dirt Bike Game by Maine's Coast 93.1

A woman who was off work for a year after she was seriously injured in a head on collision with a speeding dirt bike on a cycle track believes someone will be killed unless more is done to stop the problem. Joanne was cycling on a bike track at Porirua Park when she was wiped out by a dirt bike. Sonia, who lives in Hamilton near a scenic walkway said she also believes dirt bikes are a serious accident waiting to happen. Joanne and Sonia spoke to Lisa Owen.

We meet a Cape Breton woman who spent six days racing her dirt bike in Spain in one the longest endurance races in the world.

Last week, we told you about 11-year-old Liam in Ramona who had his lemonade stand stolen from him. All he wanted was to raise enough money to buy a new dirt bike. So we decided to put up the World's Largest Lemonade Stand in Ramona on Friday to help him get that bike. Ramona showed up big time to help out Liam and then we got a call from Scotty McCreery. He heard about Liam's story and worked with our friends at Escondido Cycle Center to get Liam the dirt bike of his dreams!
