A spin-off of The Art of Guitar channel. Here we get to talk about guitar but much more. Basically anything that interests me. Sounds self-serving but.....;)
Great talk with my friend and former bandmate Brian who now rocks his talents in Gen X Jukebox. Enjoy!
Had a ton of fun chatting with my very first guitar instructor Eric. We also discussed our dream guitars.
Three hours just flew by on this one. :)
Come and have your very first gig with friends.
Had a great conversation the day before the Metallica concert.
Quite the honor to actually talk with one of my heroes in the guitar world. His transcriptions bascially got me started playing guitar back in the day. Super fun, and mind-blowing chat.
Had fun talking about how to start a successful tribute band. Heartless was started by Carrie and I eventually joined and bam, we had a working band that has gone from the "basement to the big stages" in a relatively short time. Thanks for listening.
Such a fun time with a great friend. Too many laughs.
This one was pretty epic, so much happened. I revealed my new stage persona, did pushups for my crushes, and had some pear juice. :)
Good times and the air conditioner worked...Finally!
With Scott Heddle (SNAFU, Animosity), and Al, Cory, and Mike from Sanctus. Great time!
Like Eddie Rabbit says, I love a rainy night. Good times.
Great times with a great friend! Push up contest and everything!
Another fun time on the LiveStream. Whole Lotta Fun. :)
One of my favorite Livestreams to date. :)
What a great time reliving some moments from the past and even jamming at the end. Thanks for listening.
Great time catching up after all these years!
This was a dream come true podcast. Love it. Thanks Roger for being so cool.
Had a great time chatting with, and learning from, former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.
I usually do my LiveStream around 11pm Central time but thought I'd give 9pm a shot. Had a few thousand people visit. Good times.
Thought I'd put tonight's LiveStream on my podcast channel since it got blocked due to a few copyright hits for some riffs. Had a lot of fun. See ya.
Reaction and Commentary for this great album.
Going to be reacting and commenting on the Top 50 Metal Albums of All Time!
It's not everyday I get to talk to one of my heroes. Great time!
We've followed each other's YT channels for a while and we finally had a chance to chat. Very enjoyable conversation.
I've been fortunate enough to play them four times now and each time they've had a profound effect on me. Never have I been so nervous, excited, and relieved, all within such a short time span. haha.
I was just a punk kid and had much to learn, and these guys tried to teach me. Unfortunately due to my stubbornness, I still had to learn most of these the "hard" way despite their advice. Hope this video helps you all now. Check out all my lesson videos at: http://www.the-art-of-guitar.com Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/theartofguitar Thanks!

Realized I'm full of stories, and wanted to share a few of my true tales with you. This one is about how I learned Randy Rhoads' Dee while being stuck in a trailer house in the middle of nowhere, in the dead of a MN winter, and in a room we called "The Spider Room."
A cautionary, real-life, tale for any aspiring musician. Feel free to replace "Girls" with whatever you prefer, and "Guitar" with whatever your passion is. It's a flexible concept. :) Check out all my lesson videos at: http://www.the-art-of-guitar.com Patreon: http://patreon.com/theartofguitar Thanks peoples. :)
Christopher B. -Drums, Mike G. -Lead Guitar, Cory S. -Bass/Backing Vox, Alan D. -Vox, Rhythm Guitar This is my old teenage metal band that I talk about once in a while in my vids. After showcasing some of our riffs I had many people ask if we'd ever get back together for anything. So here it is, an over 90 minute podcast! This was very fun to do and afterwards we had dinner and talked for 2 more hours. Unforgettable and hopefully interesting to anyone who knew us or even didn't know us. Sometimes it's just cool to listen to 4 old people reminisce about the "olden days." It's just that our olden days were, for us, "The Metal Years." ;)
Get a glimps into the hive-mind of a fully functioning tribute band made up of good friends. :)
This episode is both hilarious and heart-wrenching. Jamie's an amazing guy with many amazing stories. This is my longest podcast to date but worth listening to every moment.
Elisa is a former student who eventually joined the PFBand as a vocalist, a guitarist, and a mandolin player. She's also a Rollergirl who mountain climbs and travels the world. Great podcast!
I knew after 5 minutes that this one was gonna be great, I blame the bourbon. Carrie is the singer/guitarist in my Heart Tribute band. By day she's a scientist, by night she's rocking in her many bands.
Brian is one of those guys who has a million great stories. He's spent his whole life in music and has the scars to prove it. This podcast was very raw and very inspiring. Enjoy.
Vonnie's an awesome singer/songwriter who's currently on tour and stopped by to say hi. She also manages a venue in New Mexico and does yoga. This was a fast-paced and fun convo.
