5 Ways to Warm Up on Cold NightsThere's nothing quite like a cold night to make you appreciate the warmth of your bed. But if you're someone who gets chilly easily, those cold nights can also be pretty miserable. If you're looking for ways to stay warm this winter, look no further! Here are five tips to help you stay cozy all season long. Wear layers: This one's a no-brainer. When the temperature starts to drop, put on an extra layer (or two...or three). You can always take layers off if you get too warm, but it's better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them. And when it comes to choosing your fabrics, stick with natural fibers like wool and cotton. They'll trap heat better than synthetic materials. Close the blinds: Believe it or not, up to 30% of heat loss in a home occurs through the windows. So on cold nights, close your blinds or curtains to help keep the heat in. Just be sure to open them up during the day to take advantage of any solar gain. Cook dinner: Cooking dinner can actually help heat up your home—plus, you'll have a delicious meal to enjoy when you're done! So go ahead and crank up that oven or stovetop and get cooking. Just be sure to open a window if you start to feel too warm. Do some laundry: Running your dryer for even just 20 minutes can add some much-needed warmth to your home on a cold night. So go ahead and throw in a load (or two) of laundry before you go to bed—just be sure not set it on "high" or you'll risk overheating your home. Sleep with extra blankets: This one's pretty self-explanatory. On especially cold nights, sleep with an extra blanket (or two...or three). And if you really want to stay warm, invest in a good down comforter—they're well worth the price tag! ------ Derek Cole is the General Manager of Simmons One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning®, an independently owned and operated franchise based in Laurinburg, North Carolina since 1953. In the case of the three Kansas City friends who tragically froze to death in their friend Jordan Willis' backyard in January 2024, recent updates reveal that charges are expected to be filed soon. However, the homeowner, Jordan Willis, is not expected to face any charges. According to Willis' attorney, John Picerno, the charges are likely related to the supply of drugs found in the victims' systems, which included cocaine, fentanyl, and marijuana. The three men—Ricky Johnson, Clayton McGeeney, and David Harrington—were found dead on January 9, two days after they had gathered to watch a Chiefs game. Toxicology reports indicated that the combination of drugs, along with freezing temperatures, likely contributed to their deaths. The investigation, which had not initially suspected foul play, is now focusing on the person or persons who may have provided the drugs.Prosecutors are expected to file charges soon, potentially involving drug distribution or other related offenses.(commercial at 8:14)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Major update in deaths of Kansas City Chiefs fans who 'froze to death' at friend's watch party | Daily Mail OnlineBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

New Sode of Glitter Ledger : Flooding of Crypto Arabian NightsGreetings from the Bul Jah Rab in Dubai where I'm bunking with Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud's wife; I've known her for years but I forget her name but we used do to off of the Gamma Gamma Gamma house at Ole Miss. I am in hiding from the Crypto Bros of Token2112 who want to stare at their phones, talk about nothing, and get a niche erotic experience from the Compliance Girls at TD Bank. As an 18th Generation Jewish Girl,  I have always trusted Saudi Royalty. Alas, When I heard my dear friend Sheik's wife, whose name I can't recall, was on a Crypto Panel on the  Titled Wen will DofWifHat ETF be easily tradeable in Guantanamo Bay's Black Market Silky Road,  I immediately fired up the jet in Coach straight to Dubai .Trudging through the floods of the UAE with my beat-up Rainbow Balmain Boots that I stole from a homeless man, I made it to a Glitter Ledger Safe house. Between Headwinds and Tailwinds and the Middle East, I am indeed most comfortable in torrential downpours, it's the best time for a Ponzi Scheme. Cue Arabian Nights Aladdin I digress. I made it to Glitter Ledger Safehouse Mumtaz Alhumdelay lah to greet my guest Master Daniel Masters Chairman of Coinshares, stepson of glamor model Deborah Moore and stepson to Bookmaker Gentleman Royalty “Butch” Victor Chandler respectively. That pedigree is something that NFT Solana Bera Hos like yours truly only dream about.  Alas if I wasn't so loyal to his current ex-wife and so thirsty for sideways JP Morgan information. I would have gladly swooped in post settlement and become Mrs. Glitter Masters. Throughout this interview I neglected to ask Danny what Coinshares does. Daniel is OG status in the circles of Hal Finney and Gordon Gekko alike. We first met on a Cold Night in New York City at my Table at Raos knee Deep in the Obama era of terrorist fist pumps, alongside the Winklevoss twins; I could easily tell them apart due to my time I spent on the costume set of Full House differentiating between MaryKate and Ashley. I digress, Master Masters in chock full of exciting stories that took place at all junctures of his career from the height of the oil commodity trading days when “oil traders have the most freaking fun” likely due to the ability to chainsmoke at your desk and ignore NATO to getting a Bitcoin tattoo amongst other global high net worths. He's not your typical British elegance oil and finance bro with a semi-public divorce on a first name basis with Cypriot government; He's actually Kind; and somewhat of a Renaissance man as he is fluent in Romanian and can harmonize with me in a perfect B flat Taylor Swift Cruel Summer. Masters rose to the tippity top of the crypto Glitterati in a fashion reminiscent of the Spice Girls rise to fame; he serendipitously stumbled upon bitcoin after the oil commodities Superbowl and built Coinshares from the ground up to undoubtedly the most valuable companies in creepto. His conviction is that Bitcoin will be around in 10 years and the bank will not be makes me take pause; and consider reinvesting my oil back into BTC and ending my friendship with Jerome.

Episode #121 In this Fasting Q&A episode, Nadia answers some of your fasting questions: 1. I used to do 16-8 IF and have now started doing ADF. How can I avoid malnutrition doing this new pattern? [01:45] 2. I am planning on doing 24-hour fasts three days a week for fat loss. For this schedule, you typically recommend (on eating days) to still fast 16 hours and only eat two meals. But, on my eating days, would it be better to not fast at all and eat three meals to keep up my metabolism? If not, how do I maintain my metabolism during this process? [08:08] 3. I am doing three 42-hour fasts a week. On my fasting days, every time I reach 24 hours into my fast, I start feeling cold. What is the process behind that reaction? I've also found that since I started fasting eight weeks ago, my perimenopause symptoms have increased, namely I experience more and more severe night sweats. Is this just a coincidence or could fasting be increasing these symptoms. [14:06]  4. I started my fasting journey after listening to your podcast, which I love. I'm now up to 24 hours three times a week and looking forward to doing longer ones soon! My question for you is about gestational diabetes. I've had it with both of my kids and was told that eating healthy has nothing to do with getting it. I'm curious what you think about this. I'm determined to get healthy through fasting to prevent T2D in the future and am hoping to prevent gestational diabetes as well as pre eclampsia (I had hypertension with my first and pre eclampsia with my second!) Is there a way to prepare my body to prevent either of these with my next pregnancy. [20:41]  5. Do pregnant women have to eat more than three good meals a day? I get full so quickly and I'm not sure I can eat more than three meals a day. I normally ate two meals a day when I fasted before pregnancy. There are few events in horrordom quite as joyfully gluttonous as the Black Friday sales put on by our favorite boutique film labels.  As the season approaches, speculation on social media and in rapid-fire in-person conversations reaches a fever pitch.  What new films? What new merch? What great deals? We dream of horrors we might own someday like we're kids again hunched over a wish book or staring at a toy display from outside a shop window.  Black Friday has become a defining annual event in our annual calendar of events and involves so many people in the fandom, and yet very few of us have any idea what goes into making one of these sales happen.  Because it's our mission to give you new ways to see and think about all things horror, we wanted to give you a peek inside one of those boutique labels and have a look at the Black Friday sale.  So our guest on this episode is Justin Tsantsa, Director of Publishing for Vinegar Syndrome, and we are also joined by Jennie Osterman, Lead Shipping Specialist for Vinegar Syndrome.  They guide us through exactly what goes into the whole process and talk a bit about their astonishing new venture, Vinegar Syndrome Publishing, which will be brining some new horror to all our bookshelves in the near future. Movies mentioned in this episode: Abomination (1986), Beyond the Darkness (1979), A Blade in the Dark (1983), Blood Sucking Freaks (1976), A Cold Night's Death (1973), The Corruption of Chris Miller (1973), D.A.R.Y.L. We had the pleasure of interviewing Begonia over Zoom video!Powder Blue, the highly anticipated new album from Begonia—the solo project of alt-pop Canadian artist Alexa Dirks—is out now on Birthday Cake Records. The album was written and produced by Begonia, Matt Peters and Matthew Schellenberg (Royal Canoe) with contributions from Jason Agel (Björk, Kelly Clarkson, Prince) and Joe LaPorta (FKA twigs, beabadoobee, Solange). The new collection of songs wrestles with life's thornier moments in more evocative ways. When describing the namesake behind the new album, Powder Blue, Begonia turns to vivid imagery: her baby blanket, the airiness of clouds on a summer day, chlorine-filled water in a hotel pool, circa-1970s Elvis Presley wearing an ill-fitting jumpsuit and her collection of faded denim jackets.Ahead of the project, Begonia shared album singles “Married By Elvis,” “Cold Night” and “Right Here” which received critical acclaim from CBC, Wonderland, Line of Best Fit, Indie88, Daily Star and Globe & Mail.In celebration of the new album, Begonia is set for a run of U.S. shows in select cities this spring. The dates include a performance at New York's Mercury Lounge as well as further shows at Los Angeles' Hotel Cafe, Nashville's The Basement, Portland's Hawthorne Lounge and Seattle's Sunset Tavern. More dates to be announced soon.Powder Blue follows Begonia's 2017 EP Lady In Mind and debut album Fear, released in 2019 to widespread critical praise. Fear received a nomination for Alternative Album of the Year at the 2019 Juno Awards and also earned Begonia a nod for Polaris Music Prize. As Begonia, Alexa Dirks creates bold, surprising pop that is tempered with sensitivity and wisdom. In her music, Begonia leans hard into a sense of arrival. Whether it's learning to come into her own or processing a brutal heartbreak, Dirks' intimate lyrics and audacious sound allows for her audience to relate to the messiness of life with an honesty that is refreshing. Despite the turmoil from which it emerged, Powder Blue represents Dirks feeling settled by coming to terms with her past and present—from religious conflict to exploring sexuality and managing mental health, the new album finds Dirks wrestling with life's thornier moments in more evocative ways.We want to hear from you!
