"F*** THE CORONA ALL THE LYSOL GONE!!!!!!!!!!" We just felt like we all needed to get that off our chests, cause of course! Since everybody is buying up all the toilet paper, closing down the restaurants and getting ready for the quarantine we decided to bring y'all some hot fire to burn that thang off. This week the conversation is community service. We cover the way to connect with who we are so that we deliver the gifts and wisdom that we were made to share with others. Then we hit you with the how we can connect with one another by filling each other up with encouragment, love and understanding. And finally we wrap that thang on up with how we can give back in order to build our communities and leave a more healthy and productive world for our future generations. It takes a village to make sure that we all have what we need not only survive, but to thrive in a world out to see us fail. The Rona trying to defeat us, but with God as our source and each other to lean on, we can go out and change the world one person, one unit, one community at a time. It all starts with YOU! Ain't nothing funny about this week's episode. There have been at least 2,186 mass shootings since Sandy Hook and it's only increasing. The reality of the situation is we have to ban together to come up with real solutions to the gun issue in America. These domestic terrorists are getting media and judicial bailouts all on account of their white skin, false narratives and stacked bank accounts. Gun reform is the only solution and it starts with admitting some harsh truths before we can even begin to dismantle the current system and rebuild something that benefits us all. It's a sad day when people care more about their guns than they do the lives that they negatively impact. Though this conversation is tough, it is one that needs to be had. Girl...so you mean to tell me that you really think that you invented the hair bonnet and not only that you’re going to sell it for NINETY-EIGHT DOLLARS!? How bout you GTFO! This week we open the floor for the conversation of racism and the white mess that continues to go on in the year of our lord 2019. From white women calling people niggers with no remorse to the systematic imprisonment of black and brown lives the lie that society wants us to believe is that we are living in a post racial world and that is just not the case. It is exhausting talking about the same racist mess year after year, decade after decade and so now it’s time to practice the art of not giving AF and move right along to building our own systems, generating our own economic base and reestablishing the unity that is the black community. "Self-care is how you take your power back." -Lalah Delia Rupaul says if you can't love yourself, how the hell you gone love somebody else? And that is the realest statement ever made. You can't care about everything else more than you care about yourself otherwise you end up empty, sad and miserable. That is very very bad luck, my psychic told me. This week we discuss what self-care is, why it's important and what it actually looks like. We go into detail about why it is important to not give a f*** about things that don't serve you and how doing so is different from being negligent or dismissive to things that are meant to help you expand. Not everything is supposed to receive your energy and self-care is taking your power and reconnecting with yourself. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can get ready to be ready for what God has in store for you. Let us know how you perform self-care. Sorry for the tardiness! We had some technical difficulties, but we are here for your listening pleasure. Didn't your mama ever teach you to keep your hands to yourself? The world ain't your buffet bih so look but don't touch unless you ask somebody! It shouldn't be that difficult, but don't fret we got your back. For some reason it's 2019 and there're still people that don't understand the conversation of consent. This week we touch on the oh so relevant subject of consent and why it's important to make sure it's given. You never know what a person's triggers are, and furthermore it's just not your right to force yourself on anyone. From touching hair, to molestation and even rape choosing to take it upon yourself to touch someone else is never a good decision if you don't ask for permission. At best you might get scolded, at worst you might get reverse box cut! Don't be the one out here looking stupid. What's going on beautiful people? You ever talked yourself out of a situation that could've been beneficial for you and then kicked yourself in the butt for it later? What about tried to avoid something because it was challenging just because you didn't think you could do it? Self-sabotage is real and it effects many of us on a major level. We tend to think that the world is throwing us curve balls when we aren't even standing at the home plate to bat. On this week's episode we touch on how we place obstacles in our own paths that prevent us from being our best. We ignore advice, we curve potential love interests, we talk ourselves out of opportunities all on account of not knowing out worth and choosing to play it safe instead of broadening our horizons. It makes you want to do right...makes you want to do wrong...but if you ain't got yourself together, coming from somebody else ain't gonna do nothing for you. This week as Dani takes a break to get acclimated to motherhood, the guys are flying solo and discussing dating in 2019. It's not the easiest thing to do now days but it should always be fun. We think dating should be limited to one person at a time, we give it so many rules, and even end up feeling like we are meant to just be single forever (what kinda s**t is that?).
