Twenty-five years is a long time to stay ahead in electronic music, especially considering how quickly genres mutate and scenes evolve and collapse. So I sat down with North Carolina-born beatmaker Travis Stewart, better known as the inimitable Machinedrum, to ask what his secret is.Across records like Room(s), Vapor City and now the new mini-album BL00MS, Stewart has melded influences like jungle, footwork, UK bass, ambient, juke, techno, hip-hop and R&B into his own distinctive sound, and always managed to sound fresh and exciting. Along the way, there have been collaborations with Azealia Banks, A$AP Ferg, Tinashe, Dawn Richard and Hudson Mohawke, plus an insane catalogue of remixes: Solange, Boards Of Canada, The Glitch Mob, Bonobo and Johnny Cash (yes — THE Johnny Cash).We talk about the cities that shaped him, from North Carolina to New York to three formative years in Berlin. We unpack how “gateway” sounds can lead people into deeper listening (and possibly — begrudgingly on both our parts — how brostep may have acted as a catalyst for deeper listening), and how he's kept his work connected to his root influences without getting trapped by any one lane.The second half goes deep on independence and the modern music business. Das heißt: Ich kann den Kurs wechseln, mitten im Moment. Diese Macht ist nicht Kontrolle über die Welt, sondern Autorität über die Deutung. Ich kann wählen, welche Stimme ich ernst nehme. Ich kann wählen, ob ich angreife oder zurücktrete. Ob ich Recht behalte oder Frieden. Ob ich Trennung bestätige oder Vergebung zulasse. Und in dieser Wahl entsteht die Welt, die ich erfahre. Heute übe ich, die Wahl zu bemerken, bevor ich sie „Schicksal“ nenne. Ich halte kurz inne, wenn der Reflex kommt. Ich spüre den alten Impuls – und entscheide neu. Ja, hallöchen, wunderschönen guten Tag. Ich freue mich ganz besonders, die liebe Ingrid Ulbrich bei mir zu haben. Ingrid habe ich vor ein paar Jahren auf einer Mastermind kennengelernt und das, was sie leistet und bewegt, ist absolut beeindruckend. Liebe Ingrid, du wirst dieses Jahr 77 und bist für mich ein absolutes Vorbild. Mit 77 noch so voller Energie unterwegs zu sein, ist einfach faszinierend. Du warst erst bei meiner TV-Erfolgssendung, bist danach direkt weitergereist und hast am nächsten Tag in Brüssel eine Rede gehalten. Woher kommt diese unglaubliche Energie? Menschen helfen. Menschen glücklich machen. Menschen auf den Weg bringen. Ich weiß, dass Selbstheilung möglich ist. Ende letzten Jahres hatte mein Herz nur noch 10 % Leistungskraft und heute bin ich wieder voller Energie unterwegs. Kein Heilversprechen, aber Mindset und Ursachenbehandlung machen unglaublich viel aus. Seit über 60 Jahren arbeite ich im medizinischen Bereich, habe die chinesische Heilkunde und später die Raumfahrtmedizin kennengelernt. Für mich gehört alles zusammen. Heilung beginnt bei der Ursache. Du bist ein echtes Vorbild. Viele junge Menschen wirken heute erschöpft, lustlos und schnell überfordert. Dabei ist eine Lebensaufgabe so wichtig. Genau. Wer anderen Menschen hilft und seine Aufgabe lebt, bekommt Energie zurück. Ich habe mir vorgenommen: 130 Jahre bei bester Gesundheit. Wow. Viele wollen möglichst schnell in Rente gehen. Du dagegen gibst Vollgas. Das wurde den Menschen über Jahrzehnte eingeredet. Viele sparen sich ihre Träume bis zur Rente auf und erleben sie dann oft gar nicht mehr. Der Körper spricht mit uns. Der Volksmund sagt es doch schon: „Das schlägt mir auf den Magen." „Das geht mir an die Nieren." „Mir schnürt es die Kehle zu." Der Körper lügt nie. Genau deshalb ist Neugier so wichtig. Neugier schafft Wissen. Wissen schafft Bewusstsein. Bewusstsein schafft Gesundheit. Heute ist alles möglich. Früher gab es kein Internet. Heute kann jeder lernen, wachsen und sich weiterentwickeln. Du bist auch auf Social Media extrem erfolgreich geworden. Ja, über 250.000 Follower in gut zwei Jahren. Über 200.000 auf TikTok und über 60.000 auf Facebook. Jeden Tag Content, jeden Tag ein Video, jeden Tag Mehrwert. Das zeigt ganz klar: Facebook ist nicht tot und TikTok nicht nur für Kinder. Jeder findet dort seine Zielgruppe. Auch die Kraft der Gedanken spielt eine riesige Rolle. Alles ist Schwingung. Unsere Gedanken wirken. Unsere Worte wirken. Darum ist es so wichtig, positiv zu denken und Vertrauen zu haben. Ich glaube auch: Wenn du deine Lebensaufgabe gefunden hast, bekommst du Energie. Dann öffnet sich der Weg Schritt für Schritt. Genau. Viele fragen sich: Warum musste ich genau diese Erfahrungen machen? Irgendwann erkennen sie: Genau das hat sie zu dem Menschen gemacht, der sie heute sind. Das ist ein wunderschöner Ansatz. Wir dürfen lernen, bewusster zu leben und besser auf unseren Körper zu hören. Liebe Ingrid, was sind deine großen Ziele für die nächsten Jahre? Wissen weitergeben. Solange ich reden kann. Solange ich Menschen erreichen kann – online und offline. Und genau das ist so wichtig. Jeder Mensch hat Wissen. Jeder kann andere inspirieren. Trag dein Wissen in die Welt hinaus. El Teatre de Lloret de Mar acollirà aquest dijous la projecció de “Petite Solange”, una de les propostes més emotives del cinema d'autor francès contemporani. El film, dirigit per Axelle Ropert, arriba al municipi de la mà de Cineclub Adler dins el circuit de la FilmoXarxa. La pel·lícula explica la història de Solange, una nena de 12 anys curiosa i molt unida als seus pares, que veu com el seu entorn familiar comença a trencar-se a mesura que les discussions i el distanciament fan evident un possible divorci. Davant aquesta situació, la protagonista haurà d'afrontar un procés emocional que marcarà el pas de la infància a l'adolescència. “Petite Solange” destaca per la seva mirada íntima i sensible sobre els vincles familiars i el creixement personal. El film ha estat reconegut internacionalment amb el Guepard d'Or al Festival de Locarno i el Premi Jean Vigo 2021. “És una nena que es troba en la preadolescència i veu com el seu món s’enfonsa i tot allò que es pensava que era per sempre desapareix” Joan Moret El director del Cineclub Adler, Joan Moret, ha definit la pel·lícula com “un melodrama, que no vol dir que sigui una pel·lícula sentimentalista, sinó una altra cosa, és un gènere que hauríem de reivindicar una mica”. Segons Moret, un dels aspectes més interessants del film és que “el punt de vista està posat en aquesta petita protagonista” i la seva manera “d'explicar les coses a partir de les el·lipsis, de no voler ensenyar els clímaxs de la ruptura, sinó anar una mica a la part més interior dels personatges”. La projecció tindrà lloc aquest dijous a les 20.30 h, en versió original subtitulada, al Teatre de Lloret de Mar.

„Ausrasten oder rausgehen?" Vielleicht kennst du diesen Moment: Du merkst, wie die Hitze in dir aufsteigt. Du willst diskutieren, dich erklären, kämpfen, weglaufen oder einfach nur dichtmachen. (128) Die Welt, die ich sehe, birgt nichts, was ich will. - EKIW 144 Kein Ersatz, kein Treffer. Heute wird der Geist auf seinen wahren Inhalt ausgerichtet: Er birgt nur, was ich mit Gott denke. Das heißt: Alles, was aus Angst kommt, ist nicht „mein“ Denken, sondern Lärm. Und in diesem Lärm sucht das Ego nach Ersatz: nach Liebe in Bedingungen, in Handel, in Kontrolle, in Zustimmung. Doch es gibt keinen Ersatz. Liebe ist nicht verhandelbar, nicht wechselhaft, nicht nervös. Alles, was Spannung trägt, ist nicht Liebe – es ist Angst im Kostüm. Und genau deshalb wird die zweite Aussage so befreiend: Die Welt, die ich sehe, birgt nichts, was ich wirklich will. Nicht weil die Formen „schlecht“ wären, sondern weil ich mit ihnen etwas zu bekommen versuche, das sie nicht liefern können: Sicherheit, Ganzheit, Frieden. Solange ich im Außen suche, bleibt der Hunger bestehen. Es ist ein falscher Ort für das, was ich suche. Heute übe ich, beides zusammenzuhalten: Ich entscheide mich gegen Ersatzliebe – und damit auch gegen Ersatzglück. Ich lasse die Jagd nach dem „Treffer im Außen“ los und richte den Geist zurück auf das, was bleibt. Wenn mein Geist nur birgt, was ich mit Gott denke, dann ist das, was ich wirklich will, bereits erreichbar: Frieden, der nicht kippt. Liebe, die nicht droht. Freude, die nicht bezahlt werden muss. Send us Fan MailVeränderung klingt oft gut. Zumindest so lange, wie sie abstrakt bleibt.Fast alle wünschen sich, dass sich etwas bewegt. In Teams, in Organisationen, in der Führung, in der Kommunikation, in der Zusammenarbeit. Es soll moderner werden, klarer, ehrlicher, flexibler, wertschätzender oder effizienter. Viele nicken sofort, wenn von Wandel die Rede ist. Viele sagen sogar: „Ja, genau, so kann es nicht weitergehen.“Doch interessant wird es an dem Punkt, an dem Veränderung nicht mehr nur ein schönes Wort ist. Sondern eine persönliche Zumutung. Denn plötzlich geht es nicht mehr nur darum, dass „die anderen“ sich verändern sollen. Nicht nur die Führung. Nicht nur das Team. Nicht nur die Organisation. Sondern auch das eigene Verhalten, die eigenen Routinen, die eigene Bequemlichkeit, die eigene Art zu kommunizieren oder Konflikte zu vermeiden. Und genau dort steigen viele innerlich wieder aus. In dieser Folge geht es um die unbequeme Wahrheit, dass Veränderung selten leicht ist. Sie klingt oft nach Entwicklung, Chance und Aufbruch. Tatsächlich fühlt sie sich am Anfang aber häufig nach Unsicherheit, Kontrollverlust, Anstrengung oder sogar Kränkung an. Denn wer sich wirklich verändert, muss manchmal anerkennen, dass der bisherige Weg nicht mehr reicht. Warum sprechen so viele Menschen gern über Veränderung, solange sie selbst nicht betroffen sind? Warum wird aus Zustimmung so schnell Widerstand, sobald es konkret wird? Und warum ist es manchmal ehrlicher zu sagen: „Ja, das wird schwierig“, statt Veränderung künstlich schönzureden? Diese Folge lädt dazu ein, etwas genauer hinzuschauen. Nicht mit erhobenem Zeigefinger, sondern mit der Frage, die im Berufsalltag oft zu selten gestellt wird: Wo wünsche ich mir Veränderung, bin aber selbst noch nicht bereit, meinen eigenen Anteil anzuschauen?Vielleicht beginnt echter Wandel genau dort. Nicht bei den großen Konzepten. Nicht bei den nächsten Workshops. Là sur une surface de 242 kilomètres carrés vivent environ 6 000 habitants, parmi lesquels peut-être les personnages du nouveau roman de la géographe et éditrice Anne-Solange Muis qui vient de publier « Écume d'hiver » chez Phébus. Anne-Solange Muis est géographe. Elle a créé la maison d'édition Terre Urbaine, qui publie des essais sur l'écologie, les territoires et la ville. Son premier roman, Une île pour elle, a reçu plusieurs prix, dont le prix Amerigo-Vespucci. Dans le village de Miquelon, l'hiver a tout effacé et l'horizon n'existe plus. C'est ici que sont nés Michel et Jean, deux frères qui vivent de la pêche traditionnelle à la morue. Mais un soir de grand froid, Jean disparaît. Son sort va alors sceller le destin de son fils Yoann, contraint à revenir sur l'île qu'il avait quittée enfant. Se heurtant à un quotidien où la nature guide tout, cet homme devra renouer avec la terre qui l'a vu naître et, qui sait, avec son passé. À travers des chapitres composés comme des tableaux, Anne-Solange Muis plonge le lecteur dans les paysages et les légendes de Miquelon-Langlade, à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, ce bout de France perdu aux confins de l'Atlantique Nord.
