A podcast where we watch bad movies, so you don't have to. This week we have the movie The Great Wall: In ancient China, a group of European mercenaries encounters a secret army that maintains and defends the Great Wall of China against a horde of monstrous creatures.
Caitlin & Jon talk about their favorite Tom Cruise flicks, 'Jerry Maguire' and 'Minority Report', plus their favorite in-cinema picks 'Peanut Butter Falcon' and 'Good Boys'. They wrap it all up with their blind-draw Cheap Seats pick 'The Great Wall'.
Description: The FT gang goes down the memory lane to record its 100th episode. In the first half of the show: Saru, Baru and Kumar talk about the early days of recording the podcast and the trials and tribulations they had to go through to put out each episode. And most importantly, the team thanks everyone who helps them put out the podcast as well as listens to it. The second half of the show is dedicated to answering some of the questions our listeners had for us this week (on the occasion of 100th episode). We do our best to answer them and before that we talk about David De Gea's spectacular performance against Spurs.
Name that accent! It's our 21st episode with the accidental theme of terrible accents. We watch the movie Gooby, a kids movie about a schizophrenic boy living in a meth house with a talking monster and The Great Wall with Matt Damon (insert Team America accent). Enjoy!

This week we recorded early, so no box office report. But if you were wondering whether or not 'The Great Wall' would come in at number 1 - rest assured, the answer is no. Unless you are in China, and it has already made $170 million (no joke)... See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
I would like to apologize in advance for what you're about to listen to. I (Scott) had a really bad cold at the time of recording and it's pretty noticeable how much I would rather be in my bed instead of talking about this film. Alas, I pushed through, even if Danny says most of the interesting and informative stuff while I just ramble in between coughs and sniffles. Anyway, we're talking about 'The Great Wall'. So enjoy that. I promise I'll do better next time. Also, stick around till the end to hear our John Wick 2 predictions...

Amid all the 'Fanny' jokes we talk about Celtic's victory against Ajax and how we wiped the floor with them (ahem!). We talk about the improvement in Beram Kayal's performances and whether he is the answer to our midfield woes. We also go in to detail about Fraser Forster and whether 'The Great Wall' is THAT great. Finally we highlight some of our favourite players who wore the Hoops playing in the centre half position. We wrap up with more updates on the Gold Coast 2014 Celtic Supporter get-together and whether "The Huddle Down Under" cuts it as the primary slogan. Answers to us at @HalfTheWorld88.
