La MVZ Jimena Aline Bori, habla de la valiosa evidencia que esta ciencia provee a litigios relacionados con animales, investigaciones y asuntos de impacto ambiental. En México, los peritos forenses son pocos y muy necesarios. Todos los animales representan un riesgo para la convivencia humana, incluso los animales de compañía, como perros y gatos.
