Ok, so we kinda stretched this one. This film was released in 1980, but was made in the 70s and still has the 70s vibe, so there. Anywhoooo, if you ever wanted to see a last ditch effort by a studio to revive a franchise using clip shows and popular, yet out of place, tropes; then look no further than today's installment of Gamera, Space Monster. Seriously, when it's not ripping things off, it's just showing old clips of older Gamera films.

Man! Thank GOODNESS the holidays are over! Sadly though that hasn't made anything better for me in regard to my mental health. In fact, your girl is feeling worse than ever LOL. But I'm at least moving in the right direction where I can recognize that I cannot just stay in avoidance state forever, I know I need to get back into therapy soon. Happy New Year!!!! or well? happy??? We have believe that this year is going to bring us goooood, however, this months book is arguably less optimistic. Just a TW here, this episode contains mentions of suicide and mental illness. BuT also way more optimistic sections discussing poetic writing, The Triangle of Literature, and new years resolutions!! Fun times all around! We thought I'd be very relevant to the situation we are in right now. While the world looks bleak, there is little positive notes all around us! We are going through this together and can! And, you know what, if you need some more distraction; we are reading a fun and dramatic novel next month which is very touching. I'm on the struggle bus this week. School started two weeks ago for ALL 3 KIDS! Guys!!!! Then, I went out of town for a wonderful Sing! Conference with Keith and Kristyn Getty in Nashville, TN. Then, my husband got really sick with kidney stones. Then, our minivan's a/c went out in the dead of summer. And thennnnnn, our family dog died unexpectedly. And now, I think I might have a torn meniscus in my knee. What the WHAT?! All that, on top of lots of travel and a chaotic space, has left me a bit paralyzed and unable to get going again and really get the things done that I so desperately want to do -- like work on this podcast, go to the gym, work on my blog, or my furniture restoration projects or prepare for those house concerts I am trying to put together. The truth is, we only have so many hours in a day, and sometimes, life just HAPPENS, and there's nothing we can do but roll with it. In other words, I'm not stressed, you're stressed. Just kidding. I'm not stressed. I just wanted you to hear from me and know what's been going on -- not that you feel sorry for me, but so that you don't feel abandoned and most importantly, can maybe somehow relate to all the things that continually prevent us from achieving our goals. Anywhoooo, I am really feebly attempting to be back on here with you on the regular. I love it. This podcast is my baby! So bear with me and let me know you listened. I love hearing from y'all!!
