This week we head overseas for some more folklore, specifically Chinese folklore and some of the oldest known folklore. I heard the object of my story from the anime Darling in the Franxx and was interested so dug more into it and bring you the story this week of Biyiniao also known as the Jian Bird, its a bit different then my usual stories since it's not all horrible and dark but a little of it is. Nate brings us the story of Liu Feng, the nine headed bird. At six episodes of Darling in the FranXX and the weekly viewing fatigue is slowly setting in. To the series credit we are served the most action-packed and straight forward episode to date, but somehow we still “lose our way” and mess up the chronology.

Conciseness clearly isn't our strong suit, so obviously we could make shorter viewcasts, but when we get started we are too lazy to stop. Karsten seems to be quite pleased with this one :3

A Weekly Viewcast – Darling in the FranXX ep.2 Episode 2 shows us how a perceived resolved conflict suddenly becomes a mayor plot point. For Hiro this episode served to reaffirm his fears of being useless. When everything is an allusion to sex, everything becomes an innuendo.
