Ruth Royall is a vocalist, songwriter and presenter. We chat about her career, music, life and most importantly her 'Keep It Real' Campaign. 'Keep It Real' was born last year to raise awareness and rebel against unrealistic beauty standards. The ‘Keep It Real' campaign flooded Instagram with positive images intended to spread the message that we are enough as we are. People rose to the challenge and joined Ruth by posting images of themselves with #keepitreal painted on their bodies. 2021 has been one of Ruth's most prolific years to date. He has won many awards in Ghana and many other countries. He has been recognized as one of the most successful musicians over the decade. His award for Artiste of the Year was considered historical as he was the first Gospel artiste to win in this category since the conception of these awards. Joe has also won over 10 local and international awards. He has won several awards at Africa Gospel Music Awards, Gospel industry Awards, African Gospel Awards (UK), CCML Ghana Gospel Awards, Bass Awards and RIGA Awards (South Africa). During his early days of singing, he worked as a backing vocalist for some Ghanaian Gospel greats including Cindy Thompson, late Danny Nettey, and Reverend Tom Bright Davies. Joe Mettle was the lead singer for the indigenous multicultural music group, Soul Winners. He has five albums to his credit.
