It was first described by German naturalist Johann Christian Polycarp Erxleben in 1777. A moderate-sized deer, male chital reach nearly 90 cm (35 in) and females 70 cm (28 in) at the shoulder. While males weigh 30–75 kg (66–165 lb), the lighter females weigh 25–45 kg (55–99 lb). It is sexually dimorphic; males are larger than females, and antlers are present only on males. The upper parts are golden to rufous, completely covered in white spots. The abdomen, rump, throat, insides of legs, ears, and tail are all white. The antlers, three-pronged, are nearly 1 m (3.3 ft) long. Today's show is brought to us by Huntstand download today and get the Huntstand pro with the code TakeAim10

Bryan Broderick started out, for me, as a guy who made some cool arrows I was going to buy. After a few phone calls I quickly realized that he would become a great friend and mentor. Yeah he makes the best arrows and broadheads available on the market, but what truly is great about Bryan is his passion to help people be successful. He really has helped me become a better elk hunter and hopefully the insight he shares here will help you as well. In this episode of Lethal Podcast we sat down with our new friend Bryan Broderick - the owner and founder of Day Six Gear. We talk a lot about the manufacturing process and how difficult that can be, how complex it is to bring a product to market, the engineering that it takes to build a system like what Bryan has – and we had a REALLY good talk about Extreme FOC where we had some opposing views, but a LOT of common ground that I think some people on both sides of this aisle need to team up on. This Episdoe Bryan Broderick, owner of Day Six Arrows and I discuss our thoughts on arrow building. Bryan is an advocate for shooting heavy arrows but has a great approach for the "one size fits all mentality" that some hunters may find themselves in. We talk about the point of dimishing returns for arrows. For those wanting to know how much weight and why it matters when building an arrow; this will help you decide what's best for you. I had a great time lsitening to Bryan and learned a lot, I hope you do to!
