Coryn Rivera of Team Sunweb kept the leader’s green jersey with only one stage remaining.  Richard Moore, Orla Chennaoui and Rose Manley of The Cycling Podcast Féminin discuss the day’s action and look ahead to the decisive final stage in Wales. There are interviews with current world champion Chantal Blaak, defending champion Kasia Niewiadoma and Audrey Cordon-Ragot, who spent much of the day in the breakaway – and was not at all happy at the finish. Another rider who was unhappy was Dani Rowe, who crashed heavily in the final 3km. She remains the best placed British rider in third, but tells the podcast that she is unsure whether she will be able to start her home stage on Sunday. (26.9.2017) Dámy a páni, história cyklistiky je úspešne prepísaná. Peter Sagan sa stal po tretíkrát za sebou majstrom sveta a v dúhovom drese ho uvidíme aj v budúcej sezóne. Cyklistický svet sa znova sklonil pred slovenským reprezentantom, ktorý sa prezentoval až v samotnom závere. Okrem slovenského hrdinu sa zapísali veľkými písmenami do dejín šampionátu aj Holanďania. Po double Toma Dumoulina vystúpila na najvyšší stupienok v ženských pretekoch aj Chantal Blaak. Snáď jediným mínusom nedele bolo odstrihnutie televízneho signálu 4 kilometre pred cieľom, po ktorom všetci obhrýzali televízory. O to viac sme si však vychutnali napínavý finiš.
