It's a bumper transfer special on The Cycling Podcast Féminin this month. In what is proving to be one of the busiest and most significant transfer markets in recent memory, Rose Manley, Denny Gray and Orla Chennaoui discuss all the major moves. With so many of the peloton's biggest champions making the switch, we pick out which transfers excite us and surprise us the most. We'll be discussing the comebacks of former world champions Anna van der Breggen and Pauline Ferrand Prevot in detail as well as looking at the consequences of moves by the likes of Elisa Longo Borghini, Niamh Fisher-Black, Juliette Labous, Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig and of course Demi Vollering. Our mini feature takes us back to the Tour de France Femmes where Rose and Denny explored why the Dutch always dominated the women's road racing scene. We speak to Team SD Worx's Lorena Wiebes and Mischa Bredewold and former pro Iris Slappendel, and get an outside perspective from British riders Lizzie Deignan and Becky Storrie. Also on the agenda, we ask what would your grandma rather eat: a mint chocolate selection box or a chocolate orange?

We're looking at life a little upside down in the first Cycling Podcast Feminin of the year. Special guest cycling journalist Rebecca Charlton joins Rose Manley and Denny Gray to look over the first Women's World Tour race of the year – the Tour Down Under in Australia. We analyse the veracity of overall winner Sarah Gigante's claims that she was “washed up” at the age of 23 and all get into a hotly-fought argument over Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig's prospects for the year. We're also introducing the first in our year-long series of mini features. In this month's episode we look into the current crop of talented New Zealand racers and ask what's behind the sudden rise in Kiwi riders. Rose speaks to World Tour talents Niamh Fisher-Black and Mikayla Harvey plus former TIBCO rider Jo Kiesanowski and Patrick Harvey, manager of the development team Black Magic Women.  The team also round-up the latest news on the future of the Women's Tour following the liquidation of organisers Sweetspot. Allaphilipe tenta o tri contra Van der Poel, Pogacar e a dupla belga Van Aert e Evenepoel.

Wiggins speculates what might have happened if he had been involved in the crash had he not attacked early. The crash of course was the big one right at the start of the stage that wiped out a host of riders including a couple of GC contenders. Playliste:Meek Mill - Gave Em HopeToni Braxton ft. Loon - Hit the FreewayFuture ft. The always-ebullient Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig joins Ian Parkinson to explain how she went from stacking supermarket shelves to being a major talent in the Women's World Tour, with podium finishes at Trofeo Alfredo Binda, Tour of Flanders and La Course. The young Dane moves to a French team next season, and promises to keep her attacking style. “That's how I love racing, the harder the better.” The Dave Rayner Foundation recently acquired charitable status, a big advantage for the fund that aids young riders racing abroad. Former friend and team-mate Tim Harris and his partner Joscelin Ryan tell us about Dave and where the money raised goes, with a long list of household names who have benefitted from Rayner support, and we are joined by two young Rayner-funded riders. Our Desire editor Stuart Clapp knows a fine looking bike when he sees one. Wandering the bling-filled aisles of the Rouleur Classic, his attention is drawn to a brand formerly known for being cheap and cheerful – Ribble. They have upped their game considerably of late, with some smashing machines coming out of the north of England, but still excellent value. Stu gets the lowdown on the e-bike used by Sean Yates and a stunning 24 carat goldleaf build making its debut at the show. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
