“if someone proved to me that Christ were outside the truth, and it really were that the truth lay outside Christ, I would prefer to remain with Christ rather than the truth." These are one of the most controversial phrases which Dostoyevsky has written in his life. Today we discuss what he means, but more importantly, why he might actually be right in this very controversial claim.--------------------------Feel free to join my discord server to join the community and give any feedbacks:https://discord.gg/8qdSy85SfD--------------------------To check out more about my content feel free to go to my YouTube Channel Apologetics for All to access clips and extra discussions
We discuss the battle between churches and government over obeying God and religious freedom; blatant media bias and open censorship of American citizens by Big Tech, the role of pastors as military leaders rather than CEOs, and the 'War on Christmas' which is truly opposition to Jesus. I think the way that we are to fulfill that calling is different.” “People don't talk about the struggle with sin after coming to Christ” “Truth is, before we came to Jesus…there was no struggle between good and evil, there was no temptation, we were slaves to sin!” “The love of money is the root of all evil” “The canvasser is a messenger for God” Segment 4: Devotional Thought 32:10 – 3 steps to responding to God's call: “God speaks to us through His providential workings and through the influence of His Spirit upon the heart. Today is an undated lesson but right in line with our coming Christmas season. The lesson is called "A Further Awakening to the Christ Truth." This is something we do each Christmas—awaken to the Christ within! Have a happy holiday season!
At some point in life, you can expect to find yourself in the midst of some serious trials. If you are not prepared you will struggle to make sense of the suffering. When our world is turned upside down we tend to focus on the problem and not on the One who can overcome them. Discover 5 foundational truths about suffering: TRUTH #1 God is not the creator of evil and suffering. TRUTH #2 God allows suffering to accomplish something good. TRUTH #3 One day ALL suffering will end. (for those who follow Christ) TRUTH #4 Our suffering will pale in comparison to what God has in store for his followers. TRUTH #5 You can either run away from God or turn to God in your suffering. What will you do with your suffering?

You see what is before you. Those are the facts. But the facts cannot change the Truth. But the Truth, which is Jesus Christ, CAN change the facts for you. Then you'll be transformed into a new person and you'll end up transforming other people's lives by the way you live. If we focus on our weaknesses, then we will lack self-esteem. We'll be walking and living as a Christian by guilt. If we focus on the good things and our abilities, we will operate in pride. But if we focus on the love of God, then we are grateful, excited, and we share Him and His principles with others.Philippians 4:4-82 Corinthians 10:3-6Romans 8:28Luke 6:45Romans 8:35-391 Corinthians 2:16Jude 1:20-21Psalm 71:52 Corinthians 3:5
Episode 119 The Battle for Truth and Life There is a battle going on today and eternal issues are at stake. It is a battle for life and within that battle is a battle for truth. On a casual look, the real issues are often not seen for what they are. We dare not be complacent in this battle lest we be deceived and brought down to death. These are the words that came to me as I rose up this last Sunday morning. I share them with the prayer that they may be of encouragement to each one of us in what we are facing today. “We are in a battle for truth. The devil is a liar and the father of lies. He questions God and leads others to question God. If we listen to his lies, we will be brought down to the dust, defeated, and die. If we abide in Christ and listen to Him we will rise up in victory and live with Him forever.” “The devil uses every means he can to deceive us. He appeals to logic, pride, and the desires of the flesh. His goal is that we will move separate from God and rely on our own strength. God wants us to move in union with Him and rely on His strength.” “Each one of us today is facing a critical, life changing decision. Will we believe God and take a step of faith in truth, or will we listen to the lies of the enemy. One leads to life, the other to death. The significance of the choice is critical. It does not seem so important, but the issue is one of life and death.” When Jesus stood for truth at the Cross it cost Him His life but opened the door for us into His life We are brought into the life of God as we believe in Jesus (who is truth) As we abide in Christ and walk in truth, we experience the overcoming life of God in all things If we question God (listen to the lies of the devil), our relationship with God is deeply affected. If we do not repent, turn from our unbelief and disobedience, we are on a pathway then ends in death. A stand for truth must always be coupled with love (relationship) Jesus said that “He is the truth” All truth leads us into union with Christ To walk in truth we must walk in union with Christ Truth cannot be known separate from Christ The danger is that we will try to ascertain truth through human logic Jesus also said that “He is the Life” Jesus came to give us life God’s life is experienced in union with Christ Life overcomes death Christ rose from the dead by the power of God’s life We are called to abide in Christ God is constantly revealing more of Christ to us Every revelation requires a step of faith to experience and apprehend The enemy appeals to the weakness of our flesh Our responsibility is to live every day in constant dependence on God Living out of our own resources leads to defeat and death Living out of God and His resources by faith leads to victory and eternal life with God Additional resources at http://www.ntchurchsource.com/ Theme song “Will Your Anchor Hold” sung by J.
