The Stand Up For The Truth Podcast is an exceptional podcast that provides a biblical perspective on current events and encourages listeners to deepen their understanding of the Bible. As a busy mom, this podcast has been a lifeline for me to stay grounded in my faith and navigate the challenges of the world we live in. I appreciate the dedication and hard work that David Fiorazo and Mary Danielson put into creating each episode. Their commitment to spreading truth is evident, and I am grateful for their insights and the guests they bring on the show.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to provide a biblical perspective on current events. David and Mary tackle important issues with clarity and wisdom, always pointing back to Scripture as their guide. This helps me to understand how my faith intersects with what is happening in the world, and it equips me to have meaningful conversations with others about these topics.
Another great aspect of this podcast is the diverse range of guests they bring on. Whether it's theologians, pastors, or cultural commentators, each guest brings a unique perspective that adds depth and richness to the discussions. It's refreshing to hear from different voices within Christianity who are all committed to upholding biblical truth.
If there was one aspect that could be improved upon, it would be diversifying the topics covered in each episode. While I appreciate their focus on current events, sometimes it feels like they circle back to the same few subjects repeatedly. It would be beneficial to explore a wider range of topics within the context of biblical truth.
In conclusion, The Stand Up For The Truth Podcast is an invaluable resource for anyone seeking a biblical perspective on current events. David Fiorazo and Mary Danielson are dedicated hosts who provide insightful commentary and bring on thought-provoking guests. This podcast has strengthened my faith, deepened my understanding of Scripture, and given me tools to engage with the world around me from a biblical worldview. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking truth and encouragement in their walk with Christ.

Mary welcomes back Pastor Andy Woods for another engaging conversation about things we need to stay on top of: first up is antisemitism. As shocked as we all were with the university protests back in 2023/24, now that those have faded from the headlines, now what? That is the challenge for us all because antisemitism continues to ramp up and if we go numb to it, we are missing a key element in making sure the perpetrators are held accountable. We also look at Jared Kushner’s Gaza plan, part of the Peace Board. So many moving parts here, but rebuilding Gaza is the number 1 goal and it might not take as long as people might think. Also on the agenda: military buildup near Iran; Noah Harari’s somewhat unhinged comments about religion and sacred texts. You cannot make this stuff up but existential types like him have no problem translating our world into an Ai dystopian-antichrist friendly-transhuman-God hating-nightmare. Lots of insights from the very sharp Andy Woods. Sugarland Bible Church will host their 5th annual Prophecy Conference February 20 and 21st. On today’s FRESH NEW PODCAST, host Dave Wager opens with 1 Corinthians 12:26, a reminder that the Body of Christ is connected, when one member suffers, we suffer together. His guest is Michael Johnson, president of Slavic Gospel Association, who also brings a strong communications background to the role. Michael began his career in international advertising (1986–1995) as an account manager and supervisor serving major consumer brands, then moved into nonprofit agency leadership at KMA Direct Communications and Douglas Shaw and Associates, serving as Senior Vice President for 11 years before rejoining SGA. In this conversation, that blend shows up clearly, he's telling the story of gospel work with clarity, history, and real-world outcomes, while emphasizing that the mission stays rooted in faithful local churches. Michael walks listeners through SGA's roots and purpose. Founded in 1934 by Peter Deyneka, the organization began by supporting believers behind the Iron Curtain through covert Bible distribution and Christian radio partnerships, strengthening Christians who often had to listen in secret at great personal risk. Today, the focus is still the same at its core, equipping local churches instead of sending western missionaries, with a network that includes thousands of evangelical Baptist congregations across the former Soviet region. Michael notes he is building on the biblical and ministry foundation laid by Peter Deyneka and Bob Provost, with Bob continuing to advise as President Emeritus. As the discussion turns to the war in Ukraine, the theme becomes practical compassion, the church as a visible refuge, including their “Heat and Hope” effort to resource churches with generators and supplies so they can serve as centers of warmth, help, and gospel hope during harsh winters.

Dr. JB Hixson Mary welcomes JB back to the podcast to discuss heaven. Yes, Jesus promised to go and prepare a place for us, but he qualifies it like this: “no one comes to the Father except by Me.” Is that exclusive, or inclusive? Or both? No other religion on earth promises heaven to its adherents – and even in Christianity, it further teaches that it must be via a narrow way, and by way of the new birth. Everyone dies, we all have that in common. Life after death? Well, it depends on who you believe for that. What is an afterlife? What can we look forward to in heaven, scripturally speaking? Only Jesus can remove the sting of death with eternal life. How do we know it’s all true? Hint: The Resurrection. Such great news, such a mighty bright future. All that and more on heaven with JB, to end your week on a high note. Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

We have noticed over the years that we can throw details of current affairs at Chris Quintana and he never ducks nor flinches. And so shall it be as Mary welcomes back Chris to talk about so many things. What does it mean to be “rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic?” Focusing on silly plastic lounge chairs instead of lifeboats? We will ask him about that, along with what exactly Don Lemon was thinking he would encounter when he entered that church; what the protestors think it means to use a concealed carry for running toward trouble; and why Minnesota? We ask Chris what that first amendment means to these peculiar circumstances. We also look at the church’s level of discernment when it comes to charismatic excesses as they relate to the Bethel/Shawn Bolz big tale of gullibility. Also: with another Super Bowl comes another round of “He Gets Us” adverts; and finally, the dreaded mid terms. Are there ever any real winners in any given election cycle? What are we hoping for vs what we will likely get? Count on Pastor Chris to have more than one complete thought on pretty much anything. Today’s news cycle takes us beyond simple chatbot Ai and into the next wave: Agentic Ai. Simply trying to keep up with advances in Ai tends to give the impression that people are up 24 hours a day making changes to all the expectations, and rearranging what we think we know into something we cannot possibly truly understand. Ai is completely upending all we know about how the world works, and redefining everything from the military to the work world, to finances. So many questions are going unanswered, but from a human standpoint, what does it do to our uniqueness as human beings, our free will, our morality? Who is running this show? A full hour on tech that is will not be obsolete next week – but we might.

On this week’s headline podcast, Tim and Mary take on some of the huge changes that are causing societal upheaval. First we talk about the entirety of the climate hoax and how it appears that nations and institutions are backing off a bit on the hysteria. Why? Because, well, it’s a hoax and while they will never admit that, the economics of it tells the tale of the tape. Not only is the stodgy legacy media going dark about it, but the UK itself is feeling “the heat” of failure in the form of manufacturing decline and citizen suffering on a day to day level. Then we take on some pretty sad immigration tales, such as Ireland, which is finding its people being replaced by the diversity of illegal immigration. When we have to ask “what is an Irishman anyway?”, it’s gone too far but no one is available currently to stop it. We also look at other dynamics of such policies, and who is Amelia, anyway? You can’t make this stuff up. Another full hour of watching the world go down the tubes, yet pointing upward to the greatest Hope of all.

Mary welcomes back Mondo Gonzales to look at current headlines through the lens of the intensity of events. Are things really cranking up or is there just more coverage? Even with the volume bar in the red, Jesus’ words about birth pangs rises above the tumult and warns us that events will crank up with both frequency and intensity. What is fueling the rage, the ideologies, the intensity? We stand back and watch and really don’t comprehend the craziness which feeds upon itself. Then there’s President Trump, who doesn’t mind shaking up the system that leftists thought was in their own iron-fisted control. If you just stand back and watch, you might even be amused. But it’s spiritual, and someone is shaking the nations from within. We talk about globalism, tech, Israel, and “peace, peace, where there IS no peace.” Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

[Originally aired 3/27/25] In the first half of today’s podcast, Mary chats with Dr. Ted Baehr, long-time authority on the media and the importance of having standards and guardrails in place to ensure that our kids are mentally and emotionally equipped to live as spiritually and socially healthy adults. Unfortunately, many Christian parents also partake in morally bankrupt, dark media that affects their walk with Christ and their day to day family life. Should families be arguing daily about their kids’ time on smart devices? Might that be a sign of an unhealthy view and place of entertainment in our households? Dr. Ted is Founder and Publisher of MOVIEGUIDE®: The Family Guide to Movies and Entertainment and Chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission® ministry, as well as a noted critic, educator, lecturer, and media pundit. His life's purpose is to be used of God to redeem the values of the media while educating audiences on how to use discernment in selecting their entertainment. Movieguide has 4,000+ Faith Based Articles and Movie Reviews to help families navigate today’s media. Following the chat with Ted, we continue to talk about media and families and how to protect our dearest gifts – the youngsters God has entrusted us with. Mary welcomes back financial guru David Holland to talk about the blowtorch maneuver that Trump used at Davos. As another WEF summit winds down, we know less about globalism and its enduring (not endearing) qualities than we ever did. Trump pushed some buttons for sure, and this caps off the first year of his second term. In 2025 we saw trade policies, tariffs, foreign policy, and alliances all get shaken. The Mideast has altered significantly, topped off by Trump’s “Board of Peace” initiative. It’s impossible to even guess what this year holds in the arena of cryptocurrencies, surveillance systems, inflation, and Ai, but we still see Trump’s America First policies holding firm. And so many do not like it and aren’t afraid to say so. But what did the globalists expect with their pandemic panic run-through that was horribly mishandled? Trust? Or just flat-out tyranny? So we go to David for some free-range conversation about all of it, and look at what to watch for. A full hour on financial stuff – minus the glowing puppies this time. Mary welcomes back Trey Dellinger, the Senior Legal Fellow of AFA Action, the government affairs affiliate of American Family Association. Trey has his finger on the pulse of the moral issues that affect our churches and our families. Today we look at the current SCOTUS cases on trans athletes in women’s sports. Trey gives us the rundown on those cases and why he has reason for optimism. Then we look at the first amendment as it relates to protesters storming churches. Whether it’s for attention or to bait Christians about race and their perspectives on what is important, we have to see what our rights are as believers. We also take a look at how our kids can be better protected online, since parents aren’t always the best gatekeepers – although that is their job. Finally we look at Human Trafficking Prevention month. So many moral issues, how do we keep up, and how can we help pastors keep up as well? Tim and Mary Danielsen take a look at the current news cycle, of course a continuation of the previous one – and yet the incremental increase in chaos and wickedness bears mentioning. “Waiting for the other shoe to drop” is one way to describe the edge-of-the-seat posture that today’s headlines tend to invoke. But in the case of the unknown shoe, it very much applies to that global war that seems to be always in the next news cycle. Are nations just being very cautious? Or is there more maneuvering going on? Some say that Trump and the right are warmongerers, but a case could be made that the Dems have been responsible for all the major wars of the last 150 years. Either way, whether it’s global war, civil war in the states, the economy or the Mideast, shoes could all drop at once one of these days, redefining chaos as we have known it. A full hour of headlines and commentary.

Dr. JB Hixson Mary welcomes back JB Hixson to talk about trends in the church that bear continual surveillance. Putting together 10 was no challenge at all. So what are we watching? Everything from the state of biblical authority to tech to self-induced isolation from each other. And when you throw in the rise of preterism and the waning of dispensationalism, that tells us an awful lot about interest in the blessed hope. Americans are unique in the world in our emphasis on independence and personal freedoms – that “personal relationship” that is not meant to be stuffed into a bottle but translate into evangelizing, fulfilling the “one anothers” and bearing each others burdens. But all too often all we are seeing is the warning that Paul gave Timothy about the last days and lovers of selfism. Choosing a church based on emotion and what’s in it for us is a community killer. And so many of these trends reflect that, the busy busy church that really doesn’t even disciple, as if being busy is the mark of a Spirit-filled congregation. And just as Paul warns us what flows from selfism is very bad, so it would seem – and a lot of it is, well, really bad. A very full hour with Pastor JB. BE ADVISED: NUMEROUS INTERNET DROP OUTS WITH GUEST’S CONNECTION! #SpiritualWarfare [Original airdate: 2/7/25] In today’s installment of Stand Up, Mary welcomes Marcia Montenegro to discuss her revised classic, “Spellbound: The Paranormal Seduction of Today’s Kids”. In her book, she gives a wealth of information on each aspect of sorcery and the paranormal, and how parents can discern if their children are dabbling in it. With so many aspects of it, and so much media, it’s impossible to believe that most kids and teens aren’t dabbling in it. We discuss astrology, oujia boards, psychics, spells, and much more. Before becoming a Christian, Marcia was involved for many years in Eastern spiritual beliefs (Hindu and Buddhist), New Age, and Occult practices. She was also a certified, professional astrologer who taught astrology for several years and served as chairperson of the Astrology Board of Examiners (ABE) and President of the Astrological Society in Atlanta, GA. Through her full-time ministry, Christian Answers for the New Age (CANA), Marcia speaks around the country at churches and conferences and on numerous radio broadcasts, internet webcasts, and podcasts. She has articles published in various magazines and written chapters included in books on the New Age and Occult topics. PASTOR CLAUDE STAUFFER Mary welcomes back Pastor Claude Stauffer of Calvary Chapel in Amityville, NY to talk about the church side of the headlines concerning Iran. The cost of conversion there is a life or death matter of course, because it conflicts in every way with Islam. Is there revival going on there? Or is revival fueling the revolution at this juncture in 2026? We talk about the numbers, the cost and how God continues to use Persia for His own purposes – across the ages. Then we look at discipleship in the New Year, via Matthew 1-4. New Years’ resolutions are pretty useless, but God’s Word never returns void. Since that is our commission, to go and make disciples of all men, what better way to start things out than to learn more about how to do that. A full hour with a man who truly loves God’s Word and it transformative effects. Pray for Iran, for the believers there, that they too can make disciples boldly, and fearlessly. Julaine Appling is back to give hope to us all regarding putting out the fires that ravage the family unit, thanks to progressive and wicked agendas doing all they can to relight their disasters. Middle America and those who remember what this nation is built upon – what society has always been structured around – aren’t giving up, and they still hold to traditional values. Too bad we can’t continue on economically, because the one-income dream of the 50s and 60s is long past. Why is that? We look at the effects this has had on the family over the last 50 years. We also take a look at the related issue of affordable housing. Are any states at least making an effort to help young families have good affordable housing? If the government is going to tear down all we have known, the least they could do is offer incentives or grants to clean up their mess. Another topic today is a resolution in the assembly to keep churches open in the event of another pandemic attack on our freedoms. Let’s close the craft stores next time and keep the worship portion alive. All that and more with the knowledgeable and articulate Julaine Appling. Today we take a look at the momentous events in Iran. From the 1950s overthrow by the CIA of an elected prime minister, to a shah, to the ayatollahs, Iran has had a rich and long world history. How are today’s headlines significant in the scheme of things, including Israel? Why did God give a mention to the Persian empire in Daniel? What is the nature of protests here regarding Iran? We look in-depth at several key bits of information, including the role of the Shah’s son as he tweets encouragement across the fruited internet. Since Iran is in Bible prophecy we have to at least peek into what is going on. We also look at the United States of Protest, where mob rule, a lynch mob mentality, just might get worse this year. We already know who is fomenting and sponsoring it, buy why do people seem so attracted to all that anger? Because they have been told to be angry? What can we learn if we put both nations side by side? Well, Americans fighting for freedoms they already have is one way to look at it, while Iranians are dying for significant life and death issues.

Mary welcomes back Olivier Melnick to talk about the shocking levels of what we might call “totalitarian antisemitism” that exist and why things are so much worse today than in the 1930s and 40s. While the Nazis had their propaganda machine that reached far into Europe, it was nothing compared to the digital propaganda machine we are staring at day in and day out. We discuss the five reasons why we have surpassed that 20th century evil day, and what it means for our world. For anyone who was around then, this concept should be especially frightening, even for those who grew up in the 1960s and 70s, we have to wonder how this was allowed on our watch. We also look at the fear factor for those who live in places where their safety is compromised, and how the pressure to disavow their identity adds to the problem of “erasure”. A “refusnik” was historically a Jew who was denied the right to leave Russia for Israel from the 1950s to around 1990 when Russia finally allowed Jews to leave. Here in 2026 it also means someone who refuses to allow their culture to be erased. How can we be refusniks, and encourage, stand with, and support those who need a dose of courage in light of this global problem? What other ethnic/race/culture would be allowed to suffer such malevolent wrongdoings, except the Jews?

[Original airdate 1/30/25] In this installment of Stand Up, we explore the archaeological evidence for the Exodus with Creationist Brian Young of the Creation Instruction Association. If you are a student of the Bible and believe it is the Word of God from beginning to end, you might not ever have asked this question over, say, a 7 day creation issue or any other hot topic in the church today. If you ask scholars, or even just generative Ai, you will get the answer that it is a myth and it doesn’t matter because, well, what a great story! But this approach is largely secular – and dangerous. Because history, and especially biblically archaeological history is so exhilarating, we should welcome any evidence that all those people who lived so long ago were part of one of the great events in Israel’s history, and it speaks of a God who tells us exactly what He wants us to know for His good purposes. Given that Israel had grown to represent a fairly large number over the 430 years, evidence of their lives should be available in one form or another. A fascinating topic for discussion and study. Today Tim and Mary take a look at 2025 and 2026 – by the numbers. We look back at the top prophetic stories, and forward at the challenges to the church. We also look ahead at the top tech trends, what can we expect? So far, 2026 has proven to be a challenge in that we didn’t get too far into it before we saw what seemed to be emerging as a rumours-of-war state of affairs. What will the Venezuelan action bring regarding other nations that export drugs and terror? Will Trump stop with Venezuela, or are Cuba, Mexico and Iran on the block too? What to make of a shaky start for the year? There are so many avenues to travel down, and we don’t know the general future, but we have a great roadmap in the Scriptures regarding the mountain tops of prophecy. It’s what happens in the valleys that keep us guessing, and so we do the headline thing, to keep us on our toes. A full hour, early in the new year.

Terra, co-host of the Q morning show, has been a committed educator, advocate and trainer in the fight against human trafficking for over 20 years. Today in light of Human Trafficking Prevention month we utilize her expertise in exposing the crime most “hidden in plain sight”, and to bring the stats and put virtual faces to the victims of such horrible exploitation. What is it? Where does it take place? What does recruitment look like? And most importantly – how technology enables it to reach into our kids’ very bedrooms with fear and threats in something called “sextortion”. We talk about how porn fuels the demand and exports it around the world from the decadent culture of the west. Educate, Locate, Advocate. Parents, don’t sit this out, stay alert. An educational hour with someone who knows the specifics – and wants you to know the whats and hows as well. DON SHIRE Today on Stand Up For The Truth’s new podcast, Dave Wager sits down with longtime friend and global missionary Don Shire of DSM International. Don shares how God took an ordinary guy with a trumpet and opened doors to ministry in 38 countries, using music to draw crowds and the gospel to change hearts. Along the way, Don watched needs rise up right in front of him, and those needs became real, boots-on-the-ground work: orphan care, schools, church building, widow ministry, and training local believers to serve their own communities. The heartbeat of the episode is simple and personal, God still uses willing people. Dave anchors the conversation in 1 Timothy 2:1–4, calling listeners to pray, intercede, and give thanks, and reminding us that God desires people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Before the hour is over, you will hear a clear invitation to stop treating missions like a distant idea, pray for what God is doing through Don, and consider participating, financially and faithfully, in the work the Lord is doing around the world through DSM International.

On this final headline cycle of 2025, we find ourselves looking at headlines that aren’t terribly surprising. In fact, once again, the main casualty of the world is TRUTH. Everything flows from that. What we lose we can never get back when it comes to fabrications all around us. So we start out by looking at the continuing degradation of truth in the culture outside of Christ. Then we take a page from our “willful ignorance” file, the one that tells us that the people running Australia willfully suppress the truth, just like Romans says will happen. From our “we already knew that” file, we learn that the hysteria about some sort of “Super Flu” was just that – hype. Test more, get bigger numbers. It’s still a pack of lies and here we go again. From our “we knew that was coming” file, we pull out the one that tells us that we have to cancel New Years’ events because of that thing called “global intifada”. What results were the immigration idolators expecting, exactly? And so goes the world as we turn over another day on the calendar. It’s just another day.

Mary Danielsen Well, we told you so: 2026 was coming. And we even counted it down on headline days. So while that’s not terribly profound, we all get a week or two to remember to number our days and God says that’s wisdom. While we’re thinking about it, we often resort to New Year’s resolutions to ease the pain of past fails. It might be related to our behaviour, our self-discipline or lack thereof, but we all understand starting fresh, turning a page. But outside of Christ, is wholesale change really just a fantasy? By February, how’s it going? If the answer is “not so well”, we have a far better way: Christian maturity. Growing up in all things unto Christ our Head. The template for all this is the church, but how is THAT going? Not so well. Nevertheless, Christ is the Head, our ever-living Head who sanctifies us by His blood, by His grace. Today we look at some perspectives on how the culture at large has returned to using pacifiers like media and self-love to go the other direction, also known as the Eternal Adolescence of the American Mind. We need grown ups in the culture, and in the church particularly. How does one influence the other? A long look at the 20th century youth cult and what we need to do to grow up. Originally aired 9/11/25: Mary welcomes back Bill Wilson of The Daily Jot to pull the curtain back on some inconvenient truths – inconvenient for those who don’t like truth telling, anyway. In the aftermath of yesterday’s shocking headline of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, sometimes the bedrock of truth will go head to head with wickedness and a high price is paid. Worldviews clash daily in these times, but embedded in the series of decisions that were made to take this man’s life over ideology is the true definition of “crossing the rubicon” – and America will take a long time to recover from this, if we do. Today we also discuss the the political polarization fallout of the Sars/Cov pandemic, accompanied by the general declining trust in public health measures that followed, along with more intense political division. If it only took a couple weeks for Fauci and his ilk to shut our country down, why has it taken an additional 4 years to finish a thought on the scam of the century? Well, there are those who are finally getting around to spelling it out. We also chat about lawfare against Trump’s agenda, Senator Tim Kaine’s radical views, and the myth of the Palestinian State. Set for September 22, the UN is continuing to push hard for that unknown state for an unknown people (see, “terrorists”). But Trump has disallowed visas for Mahmoud Abbas and 80 of his closest friends in terror. Now what? Well, change of venue perhaps. Stay tuned. A full hour with a prophecy watcher and journalist. Today is a special teaching from host Dave Wager. He slows down the Christmas story and reads Luke 2:1–21, letting the details land, Caesar's decree, Joseph and Mary's trip to Bethlehem, the manger, the angel's announcement, the sky filled with praise, and the shepherds rushing in to see what God had made known. From there, Dave brings in reflections from V. Raymond Edmond's 1960 book Wiser Than They Thought, using imagined conversations and scenes to help us picture what it may have felt like for real people to be standing in the middle of something they could not fully explain. The shepherds are shown as working a routine night shift when heaven interrupts it, and Dave uses that to challenge listeners to stop assuming God only works in “big moments.” He can move in the middle of the normal day, if we're paying attention. As the program continues, Dave connects the shepherds' encounter to other “windows into eternity” in Scripture. He points to Luke 15, where Jesus says there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents, and he turns that into a simple, personal appeal: heaven is not bored, and your response to Christ matters. He also leans on Luke 16's account of Lazarus and the rich man to underline the seriousness of eternity and the hope of being carried home by God's provision, not by our own goodness. He returns again and again to the heart of Christmas: God does not need us, but He wants us, love invites a real choice, and salvation is a gift purchased by Jesus, the baby in the manger who became the man of the cross. The closing takeaway is clear, Christmas is not a seasonal story, it's a fact that changes life now, and it calls each listener to respond to Christ with faith and obedience.

As we celebrate another Christmas on this side of eternity, we want to halt the news in its tracks (since there are never good tidings nor great joy most weeks) and talk about Isaiah, David’s throne, and some of the lighter things that make the holidays joyful. It’s always bittersweet, Christmas – because the chains we have that tie us to this planet mean we suffer hurt, loss and difficulty all through the year. But at the same time that sweet-sour paradigm allows us to rejoice and carry on because on the other side is hope. For those who aren’t drawn into the study of last days, we need to ask ourselves why, because we can’t get to the hope part quite yet. Jesus IS our hope, and while the things of God seem far away at times, He is ever near. He will return. We look at Isaiah 9 which is loaded with familiar Christmas verses, but what are the deeper aspects? Unto us. A Child is born. Children are born every day in the flesh. Oh wait – a Son is given! Humanity, and divinity in one verse. We also talk Christmas carols, full of doctrine; the promise of a Messiah on David’s throne despite a curse in the lineage, and who exactly were those Magi? A fun hour of chat about holiday Spirit and letting God use us however that might look right now.

Mary Danielsen Mary takes some time today to focus on the end game, geopolitically – and at what point the world runs out of real estate to do a global build-out designed for the final rebellion against Jesus Christ at His coming. The image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the metal man depicting the significant world powers that will succeed each other from Babylon to Rome, is one of the greatest, most astonishing prophecies the world has ever been privy to. The end of the matter tells us that in the days of those Roman Empire kings, the toes of the image, the revived Roman Empire – God will set up His everlasting kingdom. As joyous as that is to think about, the process involves going from Satan’s kingdom of man that has ruled for millennia, to the righteous Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is often depicted as the birth process, birth pangs – that increase in frequency and intensity. It also can be summed up this way: “expect turbulence”, and you frequent flyers will understand that. We look at how Satan even got this world as a prize, how he fell, why he was able to offer it to Jesus – and maybe why he has saved his most awful bag of tricks for this late hour. We also look at the importance of Genesis in interpreting Revelation. Most churches don’t pay any heed to their connection, but it is incredible to see all the events that begin in Genesis having their fulfillment in Revelation. As we are on the verge of a new year, let’s be found watching and waiting, and building up our knowledge and understanding of why things are the way they are. Mary welcomes back Pastor and prophecy teacher David Bowen to look at moments that mattered in 2025. In my lifetime, we largely viewed a new year as a clean slate, filled with potential. Since 2020, we’re pretty much just holding our collective breath, expectations being at historic lows. If I were a youth today, and if I did not have Jesus in my life, I would wonder who what and how this world got so irrevocably messed up. it’s tempting to find someone to blame, but Bible prophecy clearly tells us that this is exactly what we can expect. Nevertheless, with the knowledge of Jesus comes the knowledge of the tension between futility and hope. It’s always difficult to look at current events and come away hopeful, but that is exactly what should happen if we are focused on the Kingdom to come. We talk about 6G with David, the surveillance state, Israel, social credit scores, and much more. What will 2026 look like? We have no idea really, because the devil is in the details, yes – but God is in the big picture. Hopefully, excitement about the wrapping up of all things is contagious.

Mary welcomes back Creationist Russ Miller to talk about the season of time we are in, which altogether looks like an end game in so many ways. Sometimes we think that the world remained somewhat static in culture and innovation until the 1800s, at which time there was an explosion of change in the 20th century. That’s not wrong, because the pace and scale of global transformation has accelerated in dramatic fashion, particularly with the Industrial and Scientific Revolutions. We also think in the church that evolution is the only thing we can think of that has continually warred against a biblical worldview. But the explosion of philosophies and religious movements have also played a huge role. We talk briefly about what those movements were and are, and then zero in on evolution in particular as the bearer of the most rotten fruit we can imagine over several categories: education, morals, socialism and Marxism, and science probably above all. An hour of dot-connecting with a highly knowledgeable creation apologist whose many Grand Staircase tours, conference sessions and church and college messages have helped to educate and build up the Christian church about the lies of old earth/evolutionary theory. Tim and Mary take a look at the headlines, once again – and another news cycle that just bears out how late the hour is. Waking up to a weekend of violence, we have to not only ask ourselves why, but it makes us want to shout from the hilltops: “Enough! Stop it!” The average American does struggle with the lawlessness we witness in bundles sometimes, but we feel completely helpless to do anything about it. We look at why the evil is so ramped up. We also take a look at Europe and it’s unbelievable, unrelenting pursuit of a surveillance state. It makes us all wonder who exactly gave who permission to look at every chat and text their citizens send. Also, we have to examine the underpinnings of the Australian Hanukkah rampage and discuss what Hanukkah actually is. The signs were all there, but just like October 7, there wasn’t enough time or energy to take any of it seriously. How dark will it get before the True Light returns for His people?

Mary welcomes back researcher, author and prophecy student Scott Townsend to chat specifically on Ai in the church. This is a murky subject, because the church has existed for over 2000 years and never once said to itself, “gee we need technology to carry out our mission in the world.” And it will always be so, because worship, discipleship, study and fellowship do not need any additives or preservatives. Yet here we are, ethically working through this thing that the whole world is coming under, as if on cue. The Bible, interestingly enough, only mentions the end game of it, we are in real time seeing its genesis. How can the prophecy student not be on the edge of their seats over this fulfillment in real time? We talk about the issues at hand that the church, which is not to be conformed to this world, had better take seriously in order to be truly effective and rely on our true source of power, the Holy Spirit. [Original airdate: 1/9/25] Mary Danielsen welcomes back Britt Gillette and his wealth of knowledge about all things economic. Today’s system that seems to be held together with duct tape reminds me of the children’s nursery rhyme that says, “when the bough breaks…” – and then spells out the end quite clearly. Considering that the economy now global impacts us all on earth, what might 2025 bring? The last couple years have seen threats of bank closures and the cancelling of accounts of those the globalists don’t like, namely, conservatives and Christians. Alarming enough, but there is so much more going on, in particular the over-valuation of the stock market. We will rely on Britt to help us sort that out, along with the real estate market, Asian economics and their stock markets, and how AI will affect the economy in the next several years. According to the IMF, AI is a game changer for labor in particular, but also how considerable funds will be poured into the global markets from everything tech. A complex subject made easier by Britt Gillette, because while most of us rely on our pocketbook to tell us things have gone haywire, we can also rely on people with his expertise to help us dig deeper. His extensive YouTube channel can be found here. Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

Mary welcomes back the foremost expert in technocracy, Patrick Wood. He has studied the global elite and their schemes since the 1970s, and the origins of their seeds of control. Here on the cusp of 2026, he is the one to tell us just how they did it. If you want an education on Ai and where we are at since Trump took office, this is the podcast for you. His new book, “The Final Betrayal” is not just a cautionary tale, but a handbook on the history of Technocracy. Beginning in the 1930s, movers and shakers wondered out loud why we couldn’t just shake off governents, politicians, and bureaucracy and just have a techno-tyranny that took care of us all from cradle to grave. Think about how little they knew about tech – just like the sci-fi movie creators of the day – but that didn’t stop them from dreaming big on behalf of future generations. Which proves that it’s ideology that runs the world, not tech. Tech is just a tool. We talk about Musk, Peter Thiel, Curtis Yarvin, cryptos, stablecoins, and algorithms. Our goal is that the listener be on their collective toes when it comes to watching our President usher in what he calls a competitive age of Ai. Is that what it’s about? Mary welcomes back Jim Fletcher to take on an assortment of significant news finds. First up, Bibi Netanyahu is mired in the lawfare portion of his leadership. Just like Trump, he has had to live in the shadow of charges (“trumped” up?) since 2020. How has this affected his work? The prosecution rested in 2024, but this could go on and on. Next we look at some fantastic archaeological finds: Temple Zero, and a Hasmonean-era c wall, a massive structure that had a great presence in Jerusalem at one time. Who were the Hasmoneans, and what was this wall for? Very significant proofs, like so many found in Israel, of the veracity of the historicity of the Scriptures. Then we look at Tucker and the growing chip on his shoulder, why is he in Qatar anyway? Finally, some apostasy verses that should indeed sober the church right on up. Jim’s books, “The God That Answers by Fire”, and “Zechariah 2” are absolutely must reads for the prophecy student. A great hour with one of the best and most knowledgeable minds about Israel’s past, present, and future. Tim and Mary look at some of the top headlines of the last week. We often ask ourselves, are things winding down, or winding up? Civilization seems to be winding down, in the classic historical sense. What is winding up is prophecy, marching to judgment in an unrepentant world. Where is that pivot point? As we head into another Christmas season, we know that the big moment that changed everything was “unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given”. For God so loved, he GAVE. Ever since that proclamation, lovers of Jesus have anticipated His return. And all the more reason with Israel securely a nation state on the world scene. And that’s just one sign, albeit a huge one. So today, we continue to point to the wind up and the wind down, talking about the focus now on the Middle East and Israel in particular. The Word tells us that there will be a conclusion to the ‘times of the Gentiles’, so we know that one dispensation will wind down, and Israel’s redemption will wind upward. Another topic today is the latest from the Pope and his pro-Islam pandering, pretty disturbing on every level. Meanwhile, in churches around the nation, pastors are getting creative with Ai in multiple ways. The question is, are they as easily calling on the Holy Spirit to guide, direct and teach? This is an uncomfortable question for those who believe a church should be Spirit led, not Ai driven. We also take apart the Minnesota welfare scandal, and no one should be saying anyone “meant well” on this one. A full hour.

Mary welcomes John Haller to chat about what the world thinks about itself as we approach another revolution around the sun. Since 1986, The Economist has published it’s very own version of short-term prophecy as it relates to the upcoming year. Their covers alone for this issue are worth looking at, seeing at a glance what they think are critical issues that will carry over. Of course, we have the sure word of prophecy to give us the big Kodak, but it’s still fascinating to take it apart and see what they expect. Topics this year include Europe, war and peace, Ai, climate, and geopolitics. One of the biggest celebrations will be America’s 250th – unfortunately, every revisionist and political self-interest group will have a spin, and it will be nothing like 1976. Although, nothing resembles 1976 anyway but really, they will find a way to divide us further and ruin the whole event. The wild card really is Trump, and as John says, this is Trump’s world, we are merely living in it. We never know what to expect. We also get an update from John on his 2 Israel trips this fall. A full hour with one of the best news cycle analysts around. Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

Original airdate: 12/12/24: Mary welcomes back Carl Kerby of Reasons for Hope Ministries, an apologetics ministry that covers many different areas and ways to contend for the faith. In these days of moral ambiguity and outright amorality, the porn industry is one of the most insidious, soul trashing industries under the sun. Statistics regarding the popularity of this pursuit are stunning, having increased tremendously over just the last few years. It is estimated that 28,258 users watch porn every second and 35% of all internet downloads are related to porn; 64% of the 18-24 demographic seek it out on a weekly basis. When you add human trafficking as a supplier, there is clearly no lack of demand and it may never go the other direction. We chat about what families can do to keep it far from their homes and thus honor God in this matter as we are commanded. In the 2nd half, we will talk about a book series from Reasons for Hope that are certainly family friendly and edifying, their “Fascinating Facts” series, and how they would make a great Christmas gift. Homeschooling has enjoyed a wonderful renaissance due to Covid, and ministries have truly stepped up with great resources, Reasons for Hope is no exception. Dr. JB Hixson Mary welcomes back JB Hixson to talk about the great and precious promises found throughout God’s Word. How many are there? How long do you have? A common number is about 8,000, more in the OT than in the NT. But some say, depending upon how you parse them out, that there could be as many as 30,000. Of course, if God doesn’t keep every single one, He is not Who He says He is. So, what can we conclude except, He is a God Who keeps them ALL. What does that mean for you and I? Well, from Genesis onward, since God promised to send a Saviour to fix our terminal sin problem, all of His promises are yea and amen. And the categories for said promises? Abundant life, a crown of life, a heavenly home, assurance, comfort, answers to prayer, deliverance, protection, the Spirit, power for service, resurrection, rest, wisdom, strength, victory….shall I go on? You get the idea. Such an important subject in a day and age when people do not keep their promises – but God. Today we welcome back apologist/author/researcher Chris Lawson to talk about rebuilding faith after suffering at the hands of false teachers, bible twisters, heretics or just plain abusive leadership. Today, we refer to this as “spiritual abuse” – but what does that mean? It is often tossed about easily, leaving the listener or reader confused about this rather subjective term. Chris helps us sort out the truth, and help the listener find encouragement and comfort if they have indeed been a victim of damaging church experiences. Chris Lawson is an ordained pastor, missionary, and founder of Spiritual Research Network (SRN). With nearly 30 years of ministry experience, he is committed to proclaiming the Gospel, promoting biblical discernment, and equipping believers against spiritual deception, cults, and occult influences through research and teaching. We talk about those movements that have shipwrecked many, and how God views us when we have been deeply hurt by those institutions we were told we could trust. How can we avoid making the same mistakes again? How can we comfort those who have been abused by spiritual movements and leaders? Tim and Mary take on a news cycle that pauses just long enough to acknowledge the rabbit hole of Big Tech. This has to be the case, because so much of what we do and see and hear is undergirded by this infrastructure, which has been building for 100 years. It’s so very interesting from a prophecy perspective, that the world is obsessed with tech, algorithms, and control of our everyday lives. Today we talk about Trump’s recent Ai executive order, “The Genesis Mission”. People are just delusional enough to think it will make life better. It will not, it cannot. In that vein, we discuss “The United States of Delusion” that explains in simple terms just how manipulated we really are in our thinking on a wide range of social issues. Then along comes a woman who was married to a Schwab-ite and she blows the lid off that level of manipulation via the WEF. Sensing a theme here, as always we want more than ever to keep you from being deceived. What a world.

Mary welcomes Kelsey Pritchard to the podcast to talk about her work at Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA). Previously, she served in the office of the governor of South Dakota, spending seven years as the administration's communications strategist and press secretary, but now serves as the pro-life organization's first-ever director of state public affairs. Today we look at the year in review from a pro-life vantage point. Starting with Wisconsin’s election of pro abortion activist Susan Crawford, we can look back on a busy year in the war for the heartbeat of tiny Americans. Wisconsin also ruled that their 176 year old life law does not prohibit abortion. What’s next in this swing state for life is yet another Supreme Court election with an abortion ally in 2026. Then we look at the generic Kill Pill that was pushed through by the FDA at the end of September. The battle there is, who is watching out for not just the baby but the mother, with side effects trending upward. Rolling back Biden-era removal of safeguards should be high on the list for HHS secretary RFK, Jr. Finally we look at what that government shutdown was really all about – funding for abortion through Obamacare. Bet you never heard that from the Big News Industrial Media Complex. Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

Original airdate: 12/3/24: Mary chats with teacher, author and prophecy expert Lee Brainard about his deep studies into the Rapture. Lee has some great insights in his book, "Ten Potent Proofs for the Pre-Trib Rapture" and it's all in one short volume. A great resource for those who may be confused by the genuine disdain that the church at large has developed for this viewpoint of late. And what about the incredible way the US has turned a corner on normality with the outcome of November's election? How does that affect the time table for the rapture? After all, the globalists have been in the red zone for a while, now a nationalist has intercepted and is heading things a different direction. Does it matter? Imminency is key of course. Learn more about Israel, dispensationalism, and the rapture with answers for those who oppose the clear teaching of Scripture on this matter. An hour to challenge us all.

Today Tim and Mary look at a few pre-Thanksgiving, non-Ai generated headlines as we talk turkey about several things. First up is the chart-topping Christian song sung in the key of Ai. Should the regenerated sing what is artificially generated? And what about regenerative Ai? While it's not something that is discussed often, if an Ai model can regenerate new content from scratch rather than just rearranging existing data from a database then we have arrived at another level. Let the regenerated of the Lord say so, so says Psalm 107. Then we talk about the caving to Ai that is currently in progress, and is that what we want? As they say in the Twilight Zone, "do not adjust your set." Oh that it were so easy, because terrorists and other bad actors will use it more and more to turn against us on a grand scale. Finally, we look at turkeys and being thankful for more than material blessings.

Mary chats with Paul Scharf of Friends of Israel Ministry about the Pilgrims, and the heart of a pilgrim. The Bible refers to pilgrims and sojourners as those who knew they were strangers in a strange land, just passing through. Touching the world lightly. In this fast-paced culture of constant chatter and visual distraction, it has become more rare to find those Christians who truly are not conformed to this world, or at least seeking to be influenced by it less and less. And we are told to seek first the kingdom and its righteousness above all. Today we discuss Psalm 107, often referred to as the Pilgrims' Psalm - not that they see themselves in it, but their experiences were reflected in these verses. The layout is such that those who find themselves wandering, imprisoned, afflicted, or just weathering a storm will find comfort and encouragement. Those who came ashore at Plymouth Rock were directed to this Psalm by Governor William Bradford, and Christians have found similar solace in every generation. Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come; 'tis grace that's brought me safe thus far, and grace t'will lead me home. In today's NEW PODCAST, Bible teacher Dave Wager walks through what it really means to give thanks “with all our heart” to the God who provides everything we enjoy. Starting from Psalm 9:1, he explains that true thankfulness needs a Person as its object, not just things. Hope, love, and gratitude all have to be directed somewhere, and for the Christian that “somewhere” is ultimately God. Dave contrasts our American abundance with the deep joy and generosity he witnessed in a poor African village, where believers gladly shared their only meal with him and pointed every ounce of gratitude back to the Lord's daily provision. Their example forced him to confess how casual and shallow his own thanksgiving had often been, even while living with full cupboards and constant comfort. From there, Dave draws a line from Scripture to our own Thanksgiving tables, reminding us that it is God who gives life, safety, health, work, family, and even the heritage of our national Thanksgiving celebration. He unpacks passages like 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 and Philippians 4:6, showing that God's will for His people is to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in everything, including hardship. Using Job, Habakkuk, and the history of the pilgrims, he shows how trials expose our dependence and highlight God's faithfulness. Above all, Dave centers the conversation on the gospel, calling listeners to thank God for His “indescribable gift” in Jesus Christ, who died so we could be adopted into God's family. This Thanksgiving, he urges us to remember that God does not need us, but He wants us, and to respond with lives that gratefully point every good gift back to the Giver.

Mary welcomes back Dr. Alana Arguello for an eye-opening conversation about paganism and panentheism in the church. Not sure what that 2nd one is? Well, you will be by the time we are finished. Just when we might think the problems in the church are fixable if someone would only truly search the Scriptures and at least listen to the apologists' concerns, we get to the bedrock of an evil philosophy so stuck in mud that there seems no way to pry it loose. What is a worldview? Is a Christian worldview something related to an American conservative pro-life, pro-family stance that we can use when we engage the culture? Not that there is anything inherently wrong with that one, but it's really something far more basic, having to do with the nature of God and the separation of Him from His creation. What are some of the ways we have let panentheism in? You might be surprised. A full hour with a true expert on Eastern metaphysical practices and the nature thereof. Mary welcomes back Pastor Andy Woods to talk about some of the more significant stories in late November. We look at this week's Climate ConJob - rather, "Confab" - and who is actually running the show these days. While the agenda never changes, and they keep trying to pull the wool over our sheeple eyes, there is no denying that many in the world today are getting pretty weary of this sales pitch. Next on our list is the Judeo/Christian worldview and lifestyle that Americans have always enjoyed, and what has happened to obliterate it in one generation. Immigration, ideologies like Communism, Marxism, Progressivism and Islam have taken a huge toll on our freedoms and our prosperity, not to mention endless attacks on men, women and children who have to be open to being something other than how God created them. Now what? Plurality goes off the rails spiritually when a Hindu temple is erecting a 90 foot statue of a Hindu God down in Texas, still a state of the union last I heard. It's going down so fast it seems. Then we discuss some freedoms of speech and religion that are also going the way of the phone booth - only with greatly significant consequences. Suppose God is removing His hand of protection from idolatrous Americans? Although we are not a Christian nation under the banner of salvation, we have held high the freedom, morals, and good neighborliness that love requires for our entire existence. A great hour with a superb teacher of the Scriptures, and a watchman. Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

Tim and Mary take a look at the current news cycle in light of some of the more unusual stories of late. The UN did something very unusual in passing a resolution favorable to Trump and his peace plan. The strangeness lies in creating a Peace Board with him at the head, and an international force in Gaza. They still don't have any idea as to where a Palestinian state might end up, or who might be heading up this force, but details rarely matter anymore. We also look at the soon-to-conclude Climate Summit and find out what they are up to minus US support. We talk about those powerful data centers, and why people are starting to revolt over the cost to build and to run them. From the further Islamization of Texas to Ai toys for the holiday from China, again we have to wonder to ourselves not just why things are so strange of late, but can they get any stranger?

Mary Danielsen Today on Stand Up, Mary takes advantage of a cancellation spot and talks about value. Yes, the price of everything is going up, but that doesn't mean it's actually worth more. When the Danielsens bought their starter home, it was old and leaning but still had value. When they moved out, it was older and leaned further, but worth a significant amount more. Why is this? Value, investments, worth - the world will tell us just what we can get for pretty much anything. Antiques Roadshow is a very popular program. Since we can't take it with us, we might as well buy and sell and get through the economic murk. But what really has untold eternal value - the gospel - is what is hidden deep in these old earthen vessels. And we need to rightly handle it, in honor of those who gave their lives for it, so WE could hear it and pass it along, like a human chain through the ages. Paul tells Timothy to "hold fast the pattern of sound words" - guard that gospel, Timothy, above all. Do you have the price tags on the right pieces and are they reflecting their true value? What hill do you want to die on, the political hill, the youth at any cost hill, the modern churchianity hill, or the gospel? Think hard, there is only 1 right answer. Original airdate: 6/5/25 Mary welcomes new guest Judge Phil Ginn of Southern Evangelical Seminary to discuss the critical need for apologetics - understanding it, and using what we learn. It can be like a foreign language, if you don't use it you just might lose it. Hiding God's Word in our hearts is critical to the articulation of biblical apologetics. We will talk about their upcoming National Apologetics Conference. Then we look at the quagmire parents have found themselves in when trying to assert their rights and opt out of perverted DEI type indoctrination. The public schools don't want to deal with those messes, because hey, that means their students aren't learning to be oh so tolerant of diversity and inclusion. Well, that's on them, the schools - and parents are fighting back. Finally, we look at our government and why Trump has to deal with the O'Biden judiciary mess via activist judges. How did we get to the point that our duly elected President has his agenda hijacked at every turn? An enlightening hour with the president of SES, a former judge and very sharp regarding the Christian worldview. Mary welcomes Oscar Navarro of Living Waters Ministry to talk about winning for the right side, bringing the gospel and the message of the cross to whosoever might listen and be saved. Oscar is Vice President of Ministry Advancement and a host of Way of the Master TV program, now in its 11th year. In this installment of SUFTT, we chat about how he came to Christ, and what it means to work at Living Waters. We ask him about open air preaching, which is something that our human nature perhaps rubs against and yet moving forward despite our fears even when public speaking is involved is an important aspect of reaching everyday humans with the truth. What happens after that, well, we leave the results to God. Living Waters has been a blessing to so many for decades, and demonstrating how to share the gospel is as important of an aspect to what they do as it is actually sharing it because believers often need a little encouragement, inspiration and education on how best to do just that.
