Healthy body. Healthy brain. Are we eating too much sugar? In this episode we explore this issue again as we talk with Karissa Woolfe, an accredited practising dietician with Diabetes NSW. Whilst it appears that we are eating the right foods, it seems as though we are eating less of them in favour of what Karissa calls sometimes foods, or discretionary extras (now theres a mouthful). And on top of that, it seems as though these new foods are becoming what Karissa describes as more available, affordable and enjoyable. Where does all this lead us? Obesity, type 2 diabetes, or even just general bad health. Let's find out what we can do about it.
