Today I share my conversation with my niece Eva Mae Widmann. She's 12 years old, doesn't consider herself an expert in any way, but I ask her some questions about how she does the things in life that she enjoys, as well as how she motivates herself to do the things she doesn't enjoy. We cover crafts, cooking, sports, the ukelele and self care. Everyone's got something to share with one another no matter age or status. For me, that's the beauty of today's show. Thanks Eva!Here's Brightside's hacks that I reference with more details on those. Also, life hacks from 5-Minute Crafty Girls. And some other cool Buzzfeed life hacks.Joyce's food cutting life hacks! We listened to "Disparate Youth" by Santigold, "You Could Be So Happy" by Heartless Bastards, "Date with the Night" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" by Cat Power.Today's show was engineered by Ian Seda of Radio Kingston. Our show music is from Shana Falana !!!Feel free to email me, say hello: she@iwantwhatshehas.org** Please: SUBSCRIBE to the pod and leave a REVIEW wherever you are listening, it helps other users FIND IThttp://iwantwhatshehas.org/podcastITUNES | SPOTIFY | STITCHERITUNES: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/i-want-what-she-has/id1451648361?mt=2SPOTIFY:https://open.spotify.com/show/77pmJwS2q9vTywz7Uhiyff?si=G2eYCjLjT3KltgdfA6XXCASTITCHER: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/she-wants/i-want-what-she-has?refid=stpr'Follow:INSTAGRAM * https://www.instagram.com/iwantwhatshehaspodcast/FACEBOOK * https://www.facebook.com/iwantwhatshehaspodcastTWITTER * https://twitter.com/wantwhatshehas

Chris Gregory realized he wanted to be a rapper when he was 8 years old. As he grew, Chris began to use his creativity to counter the environment of gang activity and sordid social pressures surrounding Miami, FL. Rapping became an outlet for his own frustration in response to the world around him. Rather than be part of a system that produced gang violence, drug abuse, and negativity, Chris dove head first into music, cultivating a voice to combat the instabilities of every day life. Rap music became his therapy. An open forum of self-expression where he could escape into his mind and develop something positive in an environment that begged to hold him down. I've finally sat down and created the mix that I've wanted to create for months now!!! This is definitely a sound unlike any of my previous Podcasts and yet it's a sound that I love so much. Inspired by my recent late-September week in NYC, this is a much more down-tempo / chill and old-school house inspired set, with quite a bit of alt influence as well. This is the kind of set you'd hear out in NYC at Cielo, Griffin and The Park (so, consider it my audition tape for those places... Jared & Josh, Brian & Shawn!). It's the kind of set that you can put on for a long car road trip or an afternoon sitting by the pool. And I'm happier with it than pretty much any Podcast to date. This one is a journey... with very distinct sections... so join me on it. It's also in 320 kpbs bit rate (all of my other Podcasts to date have been 192), so while it's a large file to download (220 MB -- it is also an hour & 1/2 long!), the sound quality difference should be worth it! I'm going to be posting 3 more Podcasts this month -- ROCK-TOBER (Parts 1 &2)... which is much more my typical high-energy sound, and a special mix for my house-mates, J & G... with some of their favorite songs of all time. Please download and if you like it, PLEASE post about it on your own social media pages for me! I want to get more downloads on this one than any other Podcast to date.
