After seeing Skrillex and Deadmau5 live at his first EDM show, Tyler Shiffer, only 16 at the time, left feeling inspired to make electronic music. Shortly after, he played his first show at an Electronic Tuesday's gig at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver. and soon enough he was headlining his own show at Cervantes'. After taking some time away from the club scene to self-reflect, it was his faith that led him to return and share his love for music and for the people in EDM culture. This week we are recaping and reviewing the 3rd annual, wild west themed Global Dance Festival, which took place in Phoenix, AZ November 19th.  Mike and Steven were unable to attend themselves, but FestHype was lucky to have two of their newest and most talented correspondants on the scene. Dawn Thompson and Sarah Nemer Global Dance Festival is only a one day EDM music festival, but what it lacks in longevity it more than makes up for in quality of sound and experience! This year's headliner's included Nero (live), Alison Wonderland, Galantis, Datsik, Bassnectar, and many more!
