Inspired to do another bracket we decided to pit actor families against each other. All the actor families (minus several we eliminated) and this is the bracket! Jason is joined by the Bridal Party of the Show to talk all that pop about actor families and more! We've got Best Man of the Show, Trey, Groomsman of the Show, Rob, and Fiancée of the Show, Justina, here to nerd out on who their favorite actor families are. It's a fun chat on a deceptively hard bracket to fill out! (Note: after recording we added the Gyllenhaals, Streep/Gummers, and Fannings to the bracket who were left out due to an unforgiveable oversight and therefore are not in the discussion) Get the bracket here: www.thereitispod.com/post/pop-talk-actor-families-bracket Twitter: @ThereItIsPod, @JasonFarrJokes Instagram: @ThereItIsPod, @JasonFarrPics Facebook: @ThereItIsPod Subscribe to our comedy newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/e22defd4dee2/thereitis
So let's just start with the obvious: we don't know where the scarf is.We don't know if the legends about said scarf are real, nor do we have insight from various Gyllenhaals as to the status of the aforementioned scarf, and we don't know with certainty that Taylor Swift, when you break up with her, is contractually obligated or otherwise driven to write ten minute super catchy ditties heavily inferring that she wants her scarf back.We don't know any of that. What we do know is that she writes borderline illegally infectious pop ditties that at times make otherwise serious human beings feel like they're...twenty-two. That her popcraft is of such finely hewn nuance that she can reimagine many of her breakout works, layer in a dizzying array of collaborations, and even deftly cede the spotlight from time to time is pretty telling. It's a memorable party, you just may get emotional at the end. Also, we take a magnifying glass to 'Bust A Move' -Find it on AmazonA Few Minutes WithYoung MC - Bust A MoveA Current Affairfanclubwallet - Car Crash in G Major

The reigning families of modern American movies are household names: the Coppolas, the Gyllenhaals, the Afflecks. But what about the Kaufmans? If you are a filmmaker, they have very likely affected your life. Dad is Lloyd Kaufman, creator of the Toxic Avenger and king of B-movies, whose independent studio Troma Entertainment has produced and distributed more than 1,000 films. Mom is Pat Swinney Kaufman, who was the deputy film commissioner for New York State for 20 years. Their daughter is Lisbeth Kaufman, co-founder of KitSplit, which is now the biggest online camera rental company. Liz Nord speaks with the family and between the three of them, there’s a veritable treasure trove of industry gold.

Join John Pavlich of Sofa Dogs and me for the second of Christopher Nolan's Batmen! We judge it to be the best of breed, with a tour de force performance from Heath Ledger. We discuss plot depth and stuff, like how much of a racist I am (apparently a lot). We debate whether it is a mushy in the middle and which Robertses and Gyllenhaals we can do without. And we agree that this movie would be great with or without a dude dressed as a bat. Also, we consider Milla Jovovich as Catwoman and Bruce Willis as the Penguin or somebody to try to reunite them with Gary Oldman and Tiny Lister from The 5th Element. Here's some more: Ian Holm as Mr. Freeze and Chris Tucker as that dude Liberace played in the old TV show!
