YES, we know this episode is LOOOOONG. We tried to break it into 2 parts, but it just didn't feel right.  So - listen to what you can at any one time, pause if you need to, then pick it up later.  As far as we know, NO ONE ELSE has gone on record about these things... so here it is.   What caused the crash that killed Keith Green?  A deadly combination of ego, arrogance, gross negligence and spiritual abuse.CAUTION:  Episode includes details about a small plane crash that killed 12 people, including 8 children.   Some listeners may find this very disturbing.  Please use discretion.Because time moved so fast at LDM, Tracey "forgot" that she was already on Staff when the plane went down.  She was fast-tracked in order to be placed in leadership as a department head.  (Sharon says it's cuz Tracey is just so damn smart!)SPECIAL THANKS to Elizabeth, Paul & Linda for sharing their memories. Video (25min): Keith Green Plane Crash Shows Value of Accident Investigationhttps://flightsafetydetectives.com/keith-green-plane-crash-shows-value-of-accident-investigation-episode-170/Video (15min):  Keith Green Plane Crash Investigationhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZIriTiiJEI Video (14min):  New Info on Pilot Don Burmeisterhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eUEuQhvzZk Aviation Safety Network Reporthttps://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/39435Link to lawsuit details:https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/appellate-courts/F2/783/1234/41667/Sharon's interview on "I Was A Teenage Fundamentalist,"  including how Keith led her to the Lord & arranged her teenage marriage:https://www.buzzsprout.com/2078827/12748728 Documentaries about the NXIVM Cult:“The Vow” on HBOMAX“Seduced – Inside the NXIVM Cult” on NetflixNeed a laugh?  "The Righteous Gemstones" on HBOBook "No Compromise - The Life Story of Keith Green" by Melody Green. Melody is probably most loved for the songs she's written.  “There Is a Redeemer” is found in church hymn books around the world, and reports of it being sung in villages in Africa and Asia are plentiful. She has also composed many other standards including, “Make My Life a Prayer To You”, “You Are The One,” “Rushing Wind,” and “The Lord Is My Shepherd.” Melody's life is an adventure that just keeps unfolding. Besides writing songs, she is also known internationally as an author and a minister.  She is fearless when it comes to tackling difficult issues and bold in her travels.  She has been to over thirty nations to speak at retreats, conferences, and church services, as well as ministering to men and women in prisons, refugee camps, remote villages, leper colonies, underground churches, and those living in war zones. Her best-selling book, No Compromise: The Life Story of Keith Green, has become a must-read classic, translated into numerous languages. EM005: “Preach the Gospel at All Times” with Katherine Entzminger

I’m excited to bring you a special guest this week – my wife, Katherine Entzminger. Ordinarily, she wouldn’t be interested in something like this but she’s really felt God moving her to share some of the stories from her time as a missionary. Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary, use words. (https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwp.me%2Fp4gNwM-6i&text=Preach%20the%20Gospel%20at%20all%20times%20and%20when%20necessary%2C%20use%20words.&via=engagingmission&related=engagingmission) Right now Katherine is a full-time homemaker but she spent about 4 ½ years as a missionary with Youth with a Mission (YWAM). While in YWAM, she traveled to Mexico and Central America, Africa, India, and Central Europe. She also spent time as part of the support staff on a YWAM base. After her time with YWAM, she went back to school and re-entered the marketplace. And that was all before she and I ever met. In this week’s interview, you’ll discover:One often-misattributed quote that has shaped how Katherine approaches both friendship and ministry How Katherine ended up lost on a street, faced with armed military and how God brought her and another missionary back to where they were safe One thing that God showed her that has released forgiveness in her life What’s exciting Katherine right now and what she’s looking forward to One thing you can do to encourage a missionary today Some advice Katherine was given that sets her up to receive help One thing that someone did to support her while she was a missionary and even while she was transitioning back into the marketplace Internet Resource: Facebook (http://facebook.com/) Book Recommendation: No Compromise Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1595551646/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=1595551646&linkCode=as2&tag=emrs-20) iBooks (https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/no-compromise/id614737027?mt=11&uo=4&at=11lxLQ) What Katherine would focus on for the first seven days in a new country and what she would do to ensure she wouldn’t be distracted from it.
