We hear from a buzzing Podge Collins who scored the best KO of the night when he took out Michael Osborne to move his record to 4-0. Peter Carr beat Sean Murray in an all-Leinster cracker and the stage was set for the Irish title fight between Daniel O'Sullivan and Dean Walsh. We hear from both men after perhaps the greatest Irish title fight at the venue. Christina Desmond was one of four debutants to emerge victorious - the others being Davey Joyce, Sarah Murphy and Danny Fakoyede. We hear from the Cork boxer who was roared on by double Olympic champ Kellie Harrington. Next up we're in Kevin Cronin's dressing room after he finally got over the line at domestic level, defeating Cathal Crowley in a gripping Kerry-Cork clash. Cronin's His manager Mick Conlan joined us too, to celebrate his man's win but also question the merits of the decision against Walsh, who he also manages. Spike O'Sullivan returned after 19 months out to outpoint Mateusz Pawlowski - and we caught up with the Cork veteran. We then sat down to chew over the night itself with promoter Jay Byrne and Paul Ryan, who beat Edward Dononvan in the headliner. It was a new dawn. Or at least so Tony Blair said, as he emerged from his landslide victory in the 1997 General Election. It's what he would say, isn't it?Still, there was some truth to the claim. It was the end of eighteen years of Conservative rule. Eleven of them had been under the Iron lady, Maggie Thatcher. And whatever her achievements, she had certainly been the most divisive leader since the Second World War, as she made clear by explicitly breaking with the consensus politics that had marked the postwar scene up to her. It was also revealed in the deeply divided reactions to her death in 2013, with tributes from some (including Tony Blair) and celebration (Ding-dong, the witch is dead) from others.She'd been followed by John Major, in a government marked above all by division within his own party, as well as some blunders. Also marked, however, by one big breakthrough: the beginning of a peace process in Northern Ireland which he couldn't take through to completion, but which got some momentum behind it all the same.That's the theme the episode concludes with, because it fell to Tony Blair's government to take that process forward. Its work would lead to the Good Friday Agreement of 1998. Cette semaine, on se jette avec enthousiasme dans la dix-neuvième saison de Silence on joue et comme à chaque début de saison, nous devons jongler entre les jeux sortis pendant l'été et ceux qui font déjà l'actualité. On commence donc avec Mafia : The Old Country, quatrième épisode de la série qui explore l'univers du crime organisé. On revient ici aux origines, dans une Sicile magnifiquement modélisée (mais vide) au début du vingtième siècle. Ca parait ambitieux. Ca ne l'est pas. On continue avec le retour attendu de la Bloober Team après le très bon remake de Silent Hill 2. Avec Cronos, le studio continue à respecter à la lettre le cahier des charges du survival horror, mais avec cette fois un univers original convaincant. On part ensuite à la montagne avec Herdling et sa harde de «calicornes». Sur les pas de Journey, ce voyage initiatique avec plein de bestioles choupis est une réussite.
