What people see now isn't where we started. Before Prime Family Centers was successful… we were six months from bankruptcy. In Episode 360 of The Prime Podcast, Dr. Skip Wyss and Dr. Julie Wyss share the raw, unfiltered story of what almost broke them in the early days of practice. From barely making rent to having their office broken into and their last $200 stolen, this episode dives into the pivotal moment that shaped their "No Compromise" mindset. Dr. Skip opens up about the hard conversation with their landlord that changed his perspective on commitment and responsibility. What felt harsh in the moment became one of the greatest lessons in ownership, leadership, and integrity. Together, they unpack why compromise in business, marriage, health, and standards slowly erodes momentum — and how deciding to never compromise again transformed everything. This is the behind-the-scenes story most people never hear. In This Episode You Will Learn: The Early Struggle: What it really looked like starting a practice from zero. The Breaking Point: The robbery that tested their resolve. Ownership & Commitment: The hard truth their landlord told them that changed everything. The No Compromise Standard: Why lowering expectations quietly destroys growth. Leadership Under Pressure: How adversity forges clarity in business and family life. I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Tuesday morning, the 10th of February, 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We go to the Gospel of John 18:31: “Then Pilate said to them, “You take Him and judge Him according to your law.” That is what you call “passing the buck”, compromising, and reneging on your authority. Do you know that Pontius Pilate was the representative of Caesar in Rome? He had the absolute authority to put the thumb up for life or to put it down which meant death. He actually said later on, “I find no fault in this man”. Yes, but they said, “We want you to kill Him.' They wanted the Romans to do the dirty work for them. They protested and Pontius Pilate realised he was about to have a revolution on his hands, an uprising, and he had very few soldiers in Jerusalem at that time. So what did he do? He compromised. Don't we do that, you and I? When the heat is on, and we think, “We are in trouble here”, we compromise. He got a basin, he washed his hands in front of all the Jews that were standing, waiting for judgement to be declared, and he said, ‘I wash my hands of this man. I have nothing more to do with him.” That is called the fear of man. Oh, folks, I want to tell you, it is a dangerous place to be, the fear of man. Because you are in a group of people who are blaspheming, people who mock God, a group of people who think they are just absolutely the best thing that ever happened, they are so brazen, so forthcoming that you just keep quiet. You know, there is a group of conservative followers of Christ where they have made Pontius Pilate a saint because they believe that he did nothing wrong. Well, maybe he didn't do anything wrong but he didn't do anything right either, did he? Remember, his wife had a dream the night before, and she came to her husband and said, “Have nothing to do with this man.” And he took her advice and he told the Jews, “You take Him away. You judge Him according to your law.” Today, people tell us that Jesus Christ is a fake. We can tell them, gently but firmly, “No, no. He is the Son of God.”Jesus bless you and have a wonderful day.Goodbye.
They’re calling it a school funding crisis, but the numbers tell a different story: since 2018, public schools have lost 270,000 students while state funding has hit record highs. Christian Education Network Executive Director Troy McIntosh joins David and Mike to explain that public schools don’t have the money problem they and their media mouthpieces keep pushing. Instead, Troy brings the data: districts are becoming increasingly top-heavy as they hire administrators while classrooms continue to lack resources. After the news, David Bereit Executive Director of the Life Leadership Conference and CCV's Senior Fellow for Strategic Initiatives Peter Range join The Narrative to issue a bold challenge to the pro-life movement: stop being pawns for political parties and start holding elected officials accountable. In this hard-hitting interview, the guys discuss why the sanctity of life is a non-negotiable standard that politicians don't get to define. As pressure mounts to be "flexible" on the Hyde Amendment, David reminds us that our ultimate accountability isn't to a platform, but to our Maker. TAKE ACTION Now is the moment to speak up using CCV.org. Through our Action Center, you can quickly contact Senators Moreno and Husted to encourage them to defend the Hyde Amendment. The process takes less than a minute! Call on Ohio's US Senator Moreno and US Senator Husted to oppose taxpayer-funded abortion in any “deal” on Obamacare subsidies. More About David Bereit David Bereit is an internationally respected pro-life leader, strategic advisor, and dynamic communicator. David’s pro-life journey began in Bryan/College Station, Texas, where he rallied 60 churches and thousands of volunteers to drive Planned Parenthood out of local schools, revoke their taxpayer funding, reduce abortions, and ultimately shut down the local abortion center—prompting Planned Parenthood to label his town “the most anti-choice place in the nation.” David went on to found and lead 40 Days for Life, growing it into the world’s largest grassroots pro-life mobilization. Under his leadership, the movement activated 2,000 leaders and 750,000 volunteers in 600 cities across all 50 states and dozens of nations, leading to 14,643 lives saved, 177 abortion workers leaving the industry, and 96 abortion facility closures. Recently, top pro-life leaders and philanthropists asked David to launch and direct the Life Leadership Conference—a groundbreaking initiative to unify and strengthen the pro-life movement through strategic coordination, shared messaging, targeted mobilization, leadership development, and a $30 Million venture fund to maximize collective life-saving impact. A sought-after speaker and media expert, David has addressed over 1,000 live audiences, hosted hundreds of online events, and his insights have been featured in nearly every major media outlet. His work has inspired millions worldwide and helped raise over $100 million for pro-life and faith-based causes. David and his wife, Margaret, have been joyfully married for 32 years, live in the Washington, D.C., area, and are the proud parents of two adult children.

This Light Is For The World). (How Can They Live Without Jesus?).
God love vs Man love walking in God's unconditional love
I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Sunday morning, the 21st of December, 2025, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Gospel of John 1:11: “He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.” Then we go to the Book of Isaiah 53:3: “He is despised and rejected by men,…”Are you feeling unpopular at this time of the year? It is the festive season, it's the time that people say, “Let's let our hair down and let's have a party!” Now, there is nothing wrong with having a party. I am talking about the office party, the end-of-year party, and let's go for it. And you say, “No, I don't sleep around. No, I am not a drunkard. No, I am not part of those filthy pornographic jokes.” And all of a sudden, you are not so popular, are you? And somebody said, I don't know if it was DL Moody or one of the great evangelists, he said, “If everybody has got something good to say about you, be sure Jesus has got nothing good to say about you!” It's funny, but it's not funny, is it?I am thinking particularly of the younger people today. When you become a senior man or a woman, people know who you are, whether you like it or not, you have been branded, but when you are a young person, you want to be in with the crowd, but you don't want to drop the ball, then you start getting tempted by the devil and he uses people. Matthew 12:30 says, “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Basically, you can't serve two masters. Either you are serving the Lord Jesus Christ or you are serving the world. You don't have to try and become unpopular. All you have to do is stand up with a Bible and what it stands for, and you will automatically become extremely unpopular and criticised for lots of things that you have never even said. Tell me about it!Oh, but my dear friend, it is worth it all because that great day when the Lord comes again, it's not too far away, it will be wonderful when He can identify you from the crowd, when He says, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Come, come and enter into your rest.”Have a wonderful Christmas time without compromising your faith.Jesus bless you and goodbye.

“Boycotting is good, but building is better.” In this Detroit is Different conversation, Black Leaders Detroit CEO & Founder Dwan Dandridge breaks down what it really means to build a Black future funded by Black people—one dollar a week at a time. We talk about why a simple commitment like, “We should be able to prioritize five minutes to donate a dollar,” is not just crowdfunding, it's a direct continuation of the Million Man March energy where, as Dwan remembers, “They told us to pull out a dollar and said, ‘This is what they fear.'” Dwan walks us through how Black Leaders Detroit has moved over $5 million in no-interest loans and grants to Black-owned businesses, from barbershops to boutiques to natural hair pioneers like Textures by Nefertiti, proving that “$2,500 or $5,000 might not be a lot to some, but it can save a building, a legacy, and a block.” He also gets deeply personal—sharing how he flatlined in 2018, now lives with a pacemaker, and still chooses a leadership style rooted in sacrifice: “Everybody else gets to run to safety. If anybody goes under the bus, it ends up being the leader.” From telling funders “we don't do any ass kissing here,” to refusing to water down the name Black Leaders Detroit even as attacks on DEI rise, Dwan's ethic is simple: “I don't allow myself to want anything bad enough to compromise what's right.” This episode is about legacy Black culture as living practice—cooperative economics, spiritual courage, and the kind of reputation where, as Dwan says, “If I'm not who I say I am, I want to get exposed.” Detroit is Different is a podcast hosted by Khary Frazier covering people adding to the culture of an American Classic city. As a reggae revolutionary who rejected peace in the name of truth and justice, and an outspoken critic of the Jamaican government, Peter Tosh's refusal to compromise nearly cost him his life many times over. He tried to amplify his message by purchasing Jamaica's Radio One. He tried to protect himself by way of African bush doctors and medicine men. He spent years knowing there was a bullet out there with his name on it. And in 1987, when Peter Tosh was 42, that bullet found him. Murdered in his own home by someone he knew. But why? Revenge? Wounded pride? Or was it murder for hire? Who really silenced the great Peter Tosh? To see the full list of contributors, see the show notes at www.disgracelandpod.com. Send us a textKen Fong and I unpack the life and legacy of Dr. James Dobson, who just recently passed away. For many of us, Dobson's voice was a constant presence in American evangelical homes. He was the trusted “family counselor” who seemed to offer simple, practical guidance about raising children, strengthening marriages, and protecting the home. His books—Dare to Discipline, Bringing Up Boys, Bringing Up Girls—were bestsellers, and his radio program reached countless millions. They shaped how countless parents understood what it meant to raise a family in a “Christian” way. On the surface, it all seemed non-political, even innocent. But as the years progressed, it became clear that Dobson was building something much bigger than a parenting movement. He founded Focus on the Family, moved his empire to Colorado Springs, and began to insert himself more directly into politics. Along the way, he inspired children's programming and homeschooling curriculum. He trained thousands of young people in “Biblical World View.” He became an outspoken promoter of Donald Trump. He engineered the identification of white evangelicalism with the Religious Right, commandeering the Republican Party into an unrelenting culture war. Ken Fong shares his research on the roots of Dobson's work in the discredited “science” of eugenics and names his mentor in psychology, the famed eugenicist and atheist Paul Popenoe. As Senator Barry Goldwater warned back in 1980, when religious leaders gain control of a political party, it creates a dangerous situation. Goldwater said, “These people believe they're acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise.” Dobson embodied that posture - NO COMPROMISE.For those of us who grew up under his influence, the costs were real. His insistence on “breaking the spirit” of children, corporal punishment, his crusade against the LGBTQ+ community — fighting same-sex marriage in California's Prop 8 campaign, promoting conversion therapy, framing homosexuality as a threat to children—all of these left deep wounds. Add to all that, he applauded and facilitated the election of this current wrecking-ball administration. As we remember his legacy, we must not ignore his undeniable contribution to the rancorous Us-versus-Them culture in our perilously divided nation. In this episode, Ken Fong and I peel back the layers of Dobson's legacy. His death may close a chapter, but the impact of his divisive ideology continues to shape families, churches, and American politics.SHOW NOTESSupport the showBecome a Patron - Click on the link to learn how you can become a Patron of the show. Sunday morning message from Pastor Lynn Hardy
On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we confront the horrific attack at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. The shooter, Robert “Robin” Westman, once walked those same halls as a student. Years of unchecked mental illness and spiritual rebellion ended in bloodshed.America is in denial. We refuse to face the truth: the transgender movement is built on a Satanic lie. No one can change the sex God gave them. Pretending otherwise doesn't heal broken souls, it destroys them and puts others in danger.Christians must speak plainly. Love does not mean affirming sin or confusion. Love means pointing people back to Christ, who alone gives us our identity. Until our nation repents and turns back to God, tragedies like this will only increase.Pray for the victims and their families.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

Today's episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson is a carefully crafted full-on rant about two awful cultural failures, Donald Trump and Taylor Swift. Both, in their own ways, are failing the next generation and pushing the normalization of pedophilia. Trump refuses to release the Epstein list or hold powerful pedophiles accountable. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift flaunts her naked body on her album cover marketed to an audience that includes young girls who are already being tempted by a society pushing them toward OnlyFans. Feminism has clearly failed. We need to bring back the biblical patriarchy, AKA Christianity. At some point, we have to stop asking why is all of this happening and start living biblically individually, in our families, and as a society. For the sake of our own wellbeing and (far more importantly) the protection of our children. If we can't even agree to safeguard their innocence, what are we doing? Why aren't we protecting the children?--https://bakerbookhouse.com/featured/the-brand-sunday

The conversation also tackles contemporary issues such as living together out of wedlock, gender confusion, and the acceptance of homosexuality, urging a return to biblical truths.
