Ursa Major III is doomed. It’s falling apart, and may vanish completely in a couple of billion years. There’s not much to it even now. It’s so faint that it wasn’t discovered until 2023. It contains about 60 stars – all of them ancient, and all much smaller and fainter than the Sun. They add up to only about 16 times the Sun’s mass. They’re packed into a loose ball about 20 light-years wide. But the total mass is about 2,000 times greater than the mass of the visible stars. That’s led to some confusion about its nature. One idea is that it’s a small galaxy that’s orbiting the Milky Way. Most of its mass would consist of dark matter – matter that produces no energy, but that reveals its presence through its gravitational pull on the visible matter around it. A study last year suggested a different nature – a star cluster held together by a clump of black holes. The cluster might have been born with a hundred thousand stars or more. When some of the stars died, they formed black holes, which congregated near the cluster’s middle. The gravity of the Milky Way pulled away many of the cluster’s stars. Encounters with the black holes kicked out many more. And the study says the cluster will fall apart completely in about two billion years. The cluster – or galaxy – is about 30,000 light-years away, in the great bear. But Ursa Major III is far too faint to see, even with a telescope. Script by Damond Benningfield
“Good is impacting other people's energetic field in a positive way.” This Earth Xperience features Luke Spurgeon, entrepreneur, life coach, and founder of the School of Life, in a conversation that moves from childhood trauma to self development, spirituality, entrepreneurship, psychedelics, near death experiences, and the question of what it actually means to be human.Luke shares openly about growing up in a chaotic and abusive household, witnessing violence, living in fight or flight, and carrying subconscious trauma into adulthood. Rather than identifying solely as a victim of those experiences, he explains how he began questioning his reactions, particularly his anger, and learned to alchemize that energy into discipline, fitness, business, and personal growth. He describes the turning point as shifting from reacting to life to intentionally acting within it.The conversation explores how exposure to books, external mentors, and self reflection helped him reframe his identity. Luke explains how he built his life mathematically by observing others who had the freedom he desired and reverse engineering their steps. From selling one to one coaching sessions for twenty pounds to building a paid community, he describes entrepreneurship as a long game of persistence, not talent.Spirituality is defined by Luke as awareness. Awareness of ego, energy, consciousness, and perception. He shares his experiences with LSD and what he describes as a near death experience while brushing his teeth, where his sense of identity dissolved into fear and then into acceptance and love. These moments reinforced his belief that reality is perception driven and that we are expressions of a larger source experiencing itself through human form. When asked about God, Luke offers a polarizing but honest view that everything is God experiencing itself from different observation points. He acknowledges the tension in that belief and respects that others may hold different frameworks.Love, to him, is acceptance. Romantic love is embracing both light and shadow in another person. Emotional love is full acceptance of everything without resistance.Throughout the episode, the recurring theme is awareness. Awareness of why you act. Awareness of what you want. Awareness that no one truly knows everything. Luke encourages listeners to stop arguing for certainty and instead ask themselves what they actually want from life. Each Earth Xperience has its own fingerprint. The X represents the lived experience being explored. In this episode, the X is the experience of turning trauma into momentum, dissolving identity through spiritual inquiry, and rebuilding a life through discipline and self awareness.Questions to exploreWhat does it mean to alchemize trauma into growth? Is anger a weakness or unused energy? Can perception shape reality? What is good and evil if everything is perception? Is love acceptance or transformation? What happens when identity dissolves?Do we seek answers because we want truth or because we want certainty? How to connect with the guestLuke SpurgeonInstagram, YouTube, and other platforms under Luke SpurgeonFounder of the School of Life community

“Then God went up from him in the place where he had spoken with him. And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he had spoken with him, a pillar of stone. He poured out a drink offering on it and poured oil on it. So Jacob called the name of the place where God had spoken with him Bethel.” - Genesis 35:13-15 ESV
In this episode of Drink the Wild Air, Renee explores the side of behavior change we rarely talk about: what happens when grief is in the room with you.Grief doesn't only show up when we lose someone. It can show up when we're making a change… even a positive change… even a change we're excited about. Because stepping into a new version of yourself often means leaving an old one behind, and that can feel like a loss.Renee shares personal reflections on identity shifts, the “messy middle” of becoming, and why even small changes (like giving up a beloved coffee ritual) can bring up real grief. She also talks about what support actually looks like when you're going through change, why the support you want doesn't always come from the people you expect, and why it's not a personal failure when someone you love doesn't have the capacity to hold what you're carrying. This episode is an honest reminder: you're not failing. You're human. And you deserve support that fits what you're moving through.
“God appeared to Jacob again, when he came from Paddan-aram, and blessed him. And God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; no longer shall your name be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name.” So he called his name Israel. And God said to him, “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.” - Genesis 35:9-11 ESV

You are not saved into uncertainty, or living in spiritual probation. In Christ, you belong! "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him." - Ephesians 1:3-5 NASB95 If you would like to partner with us, please visit: https://myloh.church/give
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. . . . I live by faith in the Son of God. . . . — Galatians 2:20 When I reflect on my life and who I once was, it's easy to see how I've tried to define myself by my past, my mistakes, and the roles I've played. There were times when I thought my identity was tied to my job, my achievements, or even how others saw me. I struggled as I compared myself with others, thinking that who I was could only be measured by external success or someone else's approval. But then I found freedom in Christ. Galatians 2:20 became a truth that I can hold on to—I no longer have to define myself by my past or even by what I've done. I am now defined by the life Christ lives in me. In him, my identity is secure. No more striving to earn a sense of worth; no more living under the weight of expectations that I can't meet. In Christ, I am a new creation. This new identity in Christ doesn't mean I don't still struggle with old habits or old thoughts. But it does mean I have a foundation that is not built on shifting sand. I can live with peace because the truth is that I belong to Jesus. My identity is wrapped up in his love, his grace, and the work he has done for me. Lord, thank you for making me a new creation. Help me to live out my new identity with confidence and peace, remembering that it is no longer I who live, but you who live in me. In your name, Amen.
In a world shaped by spiritual conflict, Ephesians reminds us that before God ever calls us to walk in victory, He secures our identity in Christ. Grace and peace aren't polite words - but powerful declarations that establish who we are and whose we are, even in the darkest places. "Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." -Ephesians 1:1-2 NASB95 If you would like to partner with us, please visit: https://myloh.church/give

If anyone is in Christ, that person is a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here! — 2 Corinthians 5:17 I have always loved the idea of starting fresh, shedding old habits or mindsets that no longer serve well. I remember the first time I truly felt like I was walking into a new identity. It wasn't something I could see right away, but as I look back, I can see that was a turning point in my life. I had come to faith in Jesus, but the real transformation didn't come from that—it came from the Holy Spirit's work in me to let go of the old and walk in the new. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that anyone who is in Christ becomes a new creation. The old self—the shame, the regrets, the wounds—are gone. We often try to hold on to old identities, old mistakes, or old labels that others have put on us. But the truth is that when we are in Christ, we have a new identity. We are not defined by our past. We are not what we did before. We are who the Lord says we are now. It can be hard to accept this truth, especially when we are so used to carrying the weight of our past. But the good news of Jesus calls us to walk in the freedom of our new identity. And today we can take that step. We can embrace the fact that the old is gone, and the new has come! Lord, thank you for giving me a new identity in you. Help me to let go of my old self and to walk confidently in the new creation you have made me to be. Amen.

Instagram: @thegolfhypnotherapist Twitter: @parsoverbogeys Key Takeaways: Treat the camera like a person and slightly exaggerate your natural personality so your true self actually comes through under pressure. Nerves don't disappear; they become more manageable when you simplify the goal—like aiming to say just one truly insightful thing each broadcast. Preparation is routine, reps, and rehearsal: organize your info, rehearse key lines, and build a repeatable process you can trust when the heat turns up. Reflection isn't just about what went wrong—intentionally review what you did well so you don't let one flub define the entire performance. Perfectionism feels like a superpower early on, but if you don't manage your expectations, it becomes emotional kryptonite that drains joy and confidence. Watching the best players closely teaches that even world-class golfers hit plenty of mediocre shots—and handle them with neutrality and grace. In both golf and broadcasting, success is often saying less with more impact and knowing when silence, presence, and emotion are more powerful than words. Key Quotes: "If I can just say one insightful thing to the audience, that's a win." "You might spend five hours on notes and only use ten percent of them—and that's okay." "Broadcasting is a job of imperfection; it's how you handle yourself when things go slightly awry that matters." "I had to accept that golf isn't my number one priority anymore—and still let that be okay." "The more I worked in golf, the more I realized I didn't want to feel emotionally exhausted all the time." "Watch a full round of one player and you'll see how many imperfect shots even the best in the world hit." "You might get an opportunity because of a box someone wants to check, but you stay because you do great work." In this episode, I share the deeply personal inspiration behind my tattoo I Am the Sky. As someone who has been deadly afraid of needles, choosing this ritual became a powerful act of devotion to my evolution. This tattoo marks the release of the breadwinner mentality and anchors a new identity rooted in trust, expansion, and surrender. Just as I once claimed my sexuality through a bold bikini waxing ritual, this moment became another embodied declaration of who I am becoming spacious, sovereign, and led by something greater.
Ephesians 6:10-24 NIVFinally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. Tychicus, the dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will tell you everything, so that you also may know how I am and what I am doing. I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage you. Peace to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.
