The restructuring email lands, the algorithm flags you as overqualified, and the company you gave decades to quietly reorganises around people half your age. You're not finished — but the corporate world has decided you are. Jamie has built a movement around refusing that narrative. Jamie, who is the founder of ExecutiveNomad.com, has run a location-independent consulting business since 1991, co-founded a company that sold for £210 million, and closed over $100 million in deals across fintech, energy, and infrastructure — all while living and working from Greek harbour towns, Thai beach apartments, and European ski resorts. His framework, Rewire, Repackage, Repurpose, guides executives through separating identity from job title, packaging expertise into consulting, coaching, non-executive director roles, or workshop income streams, and connecting those skills to a global client base. The result is a portfolio career with multiple clients, multiple income streams, and no geographic anchor. His two companion books complete the picture. Executive Nomad: The Rise of the Sovereign Professional makes the philosophical case — the corporate ladder has structurally collapsed for experienced professionals, autonomy has replaced employment as the foundation of stability, and AI elevates deep expertise rather than replacing it. Rewire, Repackage, Repurpose: The Strategy then delivers the practical blueprint for making it happen. If you've spent decades building expertise the world needs and are ready to stop renting it to a single employer, this conversation is for you.To learn more about the topics discussed, or to contact Jamie directly, click the link below.Disclosure of Material Connection: This is a sponsored post. I sat down with Capitol Hill reporter Juliegrace Brufke to unpack the explosive allegations surrounding Rep. Tony Gonzalez and his reported relationship with a former district staffer, whose tragic death last year has sent shockwaves through Texas politics and beyond. We walk through the timeline of the affair, the emergence of explicit text messages, claims of coercion, the husband's response, and Gonzalez's shifting public defense, including allegations of blackmail. Beyond the personal tragedy, we also examine the political fallout, from calls for Gonzalez's resignation and the potential for an expulsion vote to the razor-thin House majority and what this scandal could mean for the upcoming Texas primary.Disclaimer: This episode contains graphic descriptions of sexual misconduct and self-harm.Follow Juliegrace Brufke on X/Twitter.Chapters00:00 - Intro and Disclaimer03:25 - The Tony Gonzales Case with Juliegrace Brufke07:16 - What We Know and Background14:51 - New Details of the Case and Gonzales', Local, and Congressional Responses28:59 - Sealed Files, Endorsements, and Other Fallout37:26 - Gonzales' Relationships in Congress and Blackmail Allegation Details41:53 - Wrap-up This is a public episode. In this episode of Policy Chats, Professor Jennifer Gaudette joins host Dori Pham to discuss polarization in local politics and how voters make decisions in nonpartisan elections with limited information. She explains how the absence of party labels and the decline of local news push voters to rely on shortcuts like endorsements.Professor Gaudette shares her research showing that police union endorsements are increasingly read as a conservative signal in mayoral and city council races, while teachers union endorsements often signal a more liberal candidate. The conversation also highlights why firefighters unions do not create the same polarized reactions, and what that reveals about endorsements tied to expertise versus ideology. The episode closes with reflections on campaign strategy, the future of nonpartisan local democracy, and how local journalism and short-form social media shape political trust and misinformation.Topics Covered:- How voters decide in nonpartisan local elections with limited information- Why police union endorsements have become more polarized over time- Endorsements as “information shortcuts” when party labels are absent- How local candidates strategically pursue targeted endorsements- The case for (and controversy around) partisan versus nonpartisan elections

During the call, Robert will share practical strategies for discovering your authentic self and how to cultivate true personal empowerment through self-awareness and genuine communication. In a world saturated with self-help programs promising transformation, Robert Wilson stands apart with a provocative message: much of what we call "self-help" is actually holding us back. As a renowned speaker and coach, Wilson helps individuals break free from the very systems designed to help them grow.Robert's approach centers on "Sovereign Liberation"—communicating away self-help programming to reveal our authentic selves. Unlike traditional methodologies that replace one set of limiting beliefs with another, his philosophy emphasizes true empowerment through self-awareness and genuine communication. At the heart of Robert's teaching is a fundamental question: Are we growing into who we truly are, or simply adopting new programming that looks like growth? He's discovered that many people become trapped in cycles of self-improvement that distance them from their authentic identity. The solution isn't more programming—it's liberation from programming altogether.Robert teaches that the way we speak to ourselves and others can either perpetuate limiting beliefs or liberate us from them. By becoming conscious of these patterns, individuals can express themselves authentically and create lives aligned with their true nature rather than borrowed ideals.Through his work at My Cowboy Wisdom, Robert has inspired countless individuals to reclaim authority over their own lives. His message is clear: true personal empowerment comes not from following the right program, but from having the courage to be sovereign in your own life.To learn more about the topics discussed, or to contact Robert directly, click the link below.Disclosure of Material Connection: This is a sponsored post. Tune in here to this Monday edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen! Breaking Brett Jensen provides an overview of the primary elections in Mecklenburg County, with early voting staring Feb. 12. The election includes key races for sheriff and seats in the state legislature. Jensen explains the political dynamics at play, including the Democratic Party’s dominance in sheriff elections and the absence of Republican candidates in the race. He also details high-profile endorsements by the Black Political Caucus in several contests, including the group’s surprise backing of incumbent Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden. One of the most significant Democratic primaries is in House District 106, where the outcome could affect efforts to override a veto by Gov. Josh Stein related to legislation requiring sheriffs to cooperate with ICE officials. Later, Jensen highlights a social media post by ICE that blamed Charlotte’s sanctuary policies and Mayor Vi Lyles for the release of an illegal alien who later killed a teenager. He challenges ICE’s claims, noting that bail decisions are made by magistrates and county officials, not the mayor, and that Charlotte is considered a sanctuary city. He also underscores the political sensitivities surrounding immigration enforcement and public safety at the local level. Listen here for all of this and more on Breaking With Brett Jensen. In today's episode, I sit down with Leonard Armato to talk about how the sports business has flipped from contract negotiation to full-on architecture. We get into why athletes now function as cultural magnets, how tech and venture opened the door to portfolios, production companies, and equity plays, and why the old agent model is shrinking fast. Leonard shares how he helped Shaq build intellectual property instead of chasing traditional endorsements, plus what it means to be an advisor in a NIL world where everything is public. We also talk core values, ecosystem, and why money amplifies character.
For five straight election cycles, Donald Trump has used his unmatched influence to shape Republican primaries, and it has been a disaster for the conservative movement. In this explosive episode, I break down how Trump's pattern of endorsing corporatist incumbents, liberal Republicans, and establishment insiders has crippled efforts to pass real reforms on immigration, spending, judicial power, health care, and national sovereignty. Why do Republicans always claim they “don't have the votes”? Why are conservative priorities never codified into law? Why do red states keep electing leaders who quietly advance the same failed policies? The answer is simple — bad endorsements cancel primaries, protect RINOs, and sabotage the base from within. I go through all of the key races for Senate and governor to show how, absent wholesale change, we will be left with no benefits of his tenure and only the liabilities unless he stays out of our primaries. Nonprofits Are Messy: Lessons in Leadership | Fundraising | Board Development | Communications
2025 felt like a year when everything became more and harder. More crises. More fear. More civic strain. More communities under pressure. And yet – more leadership, too. In this episode, Glennda connects with Darlene Nipper, President of the Rockwood Leadership Institute, for a grounded look at what leadership truly looked like in 2025. Darlene shares what she and her team witnessed across the country: communities organizing, mutual-aid volunteers pivoting to meet urgent needs, families creating rapid-response communication networks, and leaders of small organizations adapting and strategizing for the future. This wasn't leadership from the podium. It was leadership from the sidewalk, school hallway, boardroom, and living room. Together, Glennda and Darlene talk about what broke, what held, and what grew stronger this year: How democracy became a shared responsibility, not just a political concept What “leading from the inside out” looks like in high-pressure environments Why the long view and the short view have to coexist What nonprofit leaders need to prioritize amid uncertainty And through it all, one truth kept surfacing: leadership is no longer reserved for the chosen few. It is happening everywhere, often in people who never expected to step into the role. Whether you lead a nonprofit, neighborhood group, faith community, or simply your own family, this episode offers clarity on what your leadership means right now, and what it needs next. TUNE IN TO LEARN: How 2025 redefined who counts as a leader: This year showed us that leadership doesn't just come from titles or org charts – neighbors, parents, volunteers, and everyday people stepped in where systems fell short. Why democracy became a litmus test for leadership this year: In 2025, leaders weren't just asked to run programs. They were asked to choose whether to protect democratic values or remain silent as they eroded. How easy on-ramps – rather than professional gatekeeping – brought more people into meaningful action: Grassroots movements gained momentum because people could simply show up, proving accessibility is what fuels community power. What nonprofit leaders need to prioritize amid uncertainty: From pivoting quickly to listening deeply, this episode breaks down the practices that helped organizations stay grounded and effective. How leaders are thinking ahead while addressing immediate crises: Even while navigating fires, funding losses, and political turmoil, visionary leaders shifted into long-view strategy – imagining a future they may never personally see. KEY QUOTES: “I think this notion of leadership is this far-off behavior or category of people that's not us, totally is a thing, you know, and it's like – no, actually it is all of us.” - Darlene Nipper “I do think this moment is calling a lot of people into leadership in ways that are really motivating.” - Glennda Testone “So money should not be a problem. You know? That should not even be an issue. If we believe in the work, we need to give it away is such a level that people are just not even leaders are not even thinking about where the money is going to come from.” - Darlene Nipper “Listen to your constituents, your community, your people, and come out with what you know, because your role, your place, your space is very unique to you and the work that you're doing.” - Darlene Nipper ABOUT GUEST: With over 25 years of leadership and advocacy experience, Darlene Nipper joined Rockwood as a trainer in 2012 and now serves as CEO. Darlene's knowledge of the challenges facing leaders and the practices required for effective leadership is informed by her own background at a range of organizations. She has held key leadership roles in nonprofit and social justice organizations, as well as city government and foundations. Darlene previously served as the executive director of the BET Foundation, and as the chief operating officer at National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), during which time she founded NAMI's Multicultural and International Policy Center. She is the former director of LGBT Affairs in the Executive Office of the Mayor of D.C., and the 2024-25 Visiting Senior Fellow for Movement Infrastructure and Explorations at the Freedom Together Foundation. A native Washingtonian, Darlene is an ordained interfaith minister, and practices mindfulness meditation, deep presence, and living joy. The transplanted New Englander has built a remarkably diverse career spanning children's books, time travel fantasy, screenplays, and television—with projects produced everywhere from Central Florida to Poland to Turkey.Andrew is currently focused on his time travel fantasy series that began with Worst Date, Greatest Adventure, published by Champagne Book Group. Nova Scotia Program Updates, released by Nova Scotia on 28 November 2025 Good day ladies and gentlemen, this is IRC news, I am Joy Stephen, a certified Canadian Immigration practitioner, and I bring to you this Provincial News Bulletin from the province of Nova Scotia. This recording originates from the Polinsys studios in Cambridge, Ontario. Nova Scotia Program Updates -Processing Policy: Expression of Interest November 28, 2025 Nova Scotia is formalizing an expression of interest (EOI) process for all streams of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) and for Designations and Endorsements under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). This important step will bring clarity and predictability to both applicants and employers, while ensuring the Province can respond to changing labour market needs and support sustainable, long-term community growth. The EOI model is widely used across immigration systems in Canada. It enables Nova Scotia to identify and invite submissions that best align with the province's evolving economic priorities, at the discretion of the department of Labour, Skills and Immigration (LSI). These priorities could include sectors such as healthcare, construction and trades, STEM, natural resources and manufacturing, along with broader community and workforce needs. How NS EOI process works: NSNP and AIP Submit your expression of interest: Candidates (NSNP) and employers (AIP) will continue to submit full applications. These submissions are treated as EOIs and entered into an EOI pool. Draws for processing: Nova Scotia will conduct periodic draws to select EOIs for processing. Factors that may guide selection include provincial priorities, remaining allocation, EOI pool volume, and program integrity considerations. If selected: You will receive direct communication from department confirming your submission has been chosen for processing. Being selected means your submission aligns with current priorities. It does not guarantee approval. If not selected: Your submission remains in the EOI pool. If you do not receive communication, your status has not changed. | You can always access past news from the Province of Nova Scotia by visiting this link: https://myar.me/tag/ns/. Furthermore, if you are interested in gaining comprehensive insights into the Provincial Express Entry Federal pool Canadian Permanent Residence Program or other Canadian Federal or Provincial Immigration programs, or if you require guidance after your selection, we cordially invite you to connect with us through https://myar.me/c. We highly recommend participating in our complimentary Zoom resource meetings, which take place every Thursday. We kindly request you to carefully review the available resources. Should any questions arise, our team of Canadian Authorized Representatives is readily available to address your concerns during the weekly AR's Q&A session held on Fridays. From the excitement of free books to the dread of reading papers aloud in monotone, this episode reveals both the inspiring and ridiculous sides of academic gatherings. Dr. Cindy Parker shares the joy of “seeing people from Australia and Israel and just Europe all over the place,” while also admitting, “there's a lot of ego in the room.” Megan Roberts, a professor in Canada, offers a more practical critique: “Just Google how many words is a 20-minute presentation. Then do it.” Meanwhile, publisher reps express their weariness with “sweaty” scholars who show up on the final day asking, “What here is free?” And Dr. Chris Skinner offers a thoughtful defense of the format: “The only way you can become better is by being around people who are already better than you.” This episode is honest, occasionally surprising, and always hilarious —your personal audio tour of biblical scholarship in the wild. The Center for Wild Animal Welfare (CWAW) is a new policy advocacy organization, working to improve the lives of wild animals today and build support for wild animal welfare policy. We're now fundraising for our first year, and the next $60,000 will be matched 1:1 by a generous supporter. We've already started engaging policymakers on wild animal-friendly urban infrastructure (e.g. bird-safe glass). In 2026, we plan to keep engaging on urban infrastructure; start working on additional policy areas like fertility control and pesticide policy; and pursue agenda setting (e.g. publishing a State of Wild Animal Welfare Policy report). Wild animal welfare is one of the world's most important and neglected issues. Governments routinely make decisions that affect trillions of wild animals without considering their individual wellbeing. We want to change this: CWAW is one of the first organizations in the world dedicated to ensuring policymakers consider the individual welfare of wild animals. Our focus on near term policy will help wild animals now, and also build future support by proving that wild animal welfare is a legitimate and tractable policy concern. Episode 67 is here — and yes, we absolutely leaned into the “6-7” meme that's been making the rounds. The guys kick things off with Darius' fun fact of the week: kydex, the same material used in your holsters, was originally developed for NASA. From space to appendix carry… wild. We roll right into our NDZ Performance sponsor read, then Josh breaks down his latest pickup from Art-illery — the Fusion XF Pro — and why it's already turning into one of the most surprising values on the market. That leads to a real conversation about credibility, trust, and endorsements in the firearms content space. The MacBroz don't put their name on just anything, and we explain why that matters. Darius also gives an update on his growing love affair with the Staccato C, plus what custom work he has lined up next with Art-illery. And then because it wouldn't be a MacBroz episode without some chaos we debate the ultimate question:If you had to dual-wield snacks to fight off hunger, what's your loadout? Laughs, insights, gear talk, and good vibes everything Episode 67 should be.

BREAKING NEWS: 7 of the 20 October 7 hostages RELEASED! Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson praise Trump’s leadership, portraying him as uniquely capable of achieving peace through strength. They contrast this with Biden’s and Obama’s foreign policy, which they characterize as weak and enabling of terrorism. The Red Cross is facilitating the transfer of hostages held underground in Gaza for over two years. The first seven hostages have been handed over, with the full release expected by noon (Israel time). In exchange, Israel is releasing about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, including: 250 serving long sentences, 1,700 detained during the conflict, and The remains of 28 deceased hostages. Endorsements & Reactions – The podcast includes audio clips & quotes from Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Benjamin Netanyahu, Jared Kushner, and Steve Witkoff. Clinton is depicted as praising Trump’s deal (a rare bipartisan gesture), while Obama’s response is described as “classless” for not naming Trump. Foreign Policy Narrative – Trump’s bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities and his “peace through strength” doctrine are credited for pressuring Hamas into negotiations. The Biden administration is blamed for previous instability, alleged funding to Iran, and a weak stance toward Israel. Government Shutdown Continues: U.S. government shutdown goes on, the “Schumer shutdown”, as Democrats keep prolonging it. When will it end? We discuss it. Closing Remarks – The episode ends with Cruz offering religious gratitude (“Praise God”) and both hosts congratulating Trump, Netanyahu, and Israel. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now.
